DO NOT PURCHASE A HOME FROM ALLEN EDWIN. I signed an agreement with Allen Edwin and everything was going fine until I went to make my selections. They knew the move in date had been moved, but wanted my down payment of $7,500 first. After I signed all the paperwork which I was really excited about, they threw a paper in front on me to sign moving the move in date back 90 days. I told them I refused to sign and they said they were going to sue me if I didnt sign over the release of the $7,500. Randy the sales man is a horrible person and wanted this money for himself along with their executives. The integrity and honesty was gone from this place. DO NOT buy from this builder. I have since talked to many people and they are so mad with their decision to move forward with this builder because they have nothing but problems. BUT what they did to me was wrong and no one should ever trust this builder.
We loved our entire home building process with Allen Edwin! They were very helpful for us as first time home buyer/builders. They were very friendly, answered all of our questions, and were available to us when we needed them. It was wonderful to watch our home being built, and great to know that we could trust them to do quality work. We have been in our home now for over a year, and we love the final product. They even come back after the year is over to inspect how your home has settled and give it a touch up! A big thanks to our salesman, Jeff, and our builder, Andy, who walked with us through this entire process!

The building process was organized and went smoothly from start to finish. Our favorite part was visiting the showroom and picking out all of our amenities. Just a note about their warranty service, we had noticed a very small water leak on our bedroom ceiling. We contacted service department and although we were beyond our warranty period, the repair was covered at no charge. It was determined that the leak had been going on from day one.

John and Laura were there any time we needed them and were very responsive addressing any concerns we may have. We love our home and could not be happier
This company builds very poor quality homes. They use the least expensive materials. We were only in our home 2 years and the siding started to buckle and and fall off. We had it repaired and now 5 years later we had to replace a complete side of our home with new durable siding. We have also had to replace our roof this month it turns out they used lowest grade roof through certainteed which should have lasted for more than 7 years. It was probably improperly installed.Three of my neighbors have also replaced their roofs within 5 to 7 years of living in their homes.Please beware and do your homework before letting Allen Edwin build your home.
