True Friends Moving Company, LLC

I scheduled a move with the True Friends Moving Company of Nashville, TN for June 30th from Marion, Alabama to Nashville, TN with an expected moving time window between noon and 2pm. At 7:47 am I received a courtesy call from [redacted], the manager/owner, to confirm my move. At 3pm, I called [redacted] back to express concern about the whereabouts of the movers, and he told me that he would have them call me. The movers called me and said they would be their soon. I asked for a specific time frame and they said â??We should arrive in about 2.5 hours.â? I immediately called [redacted] back, and he said â??well we always request customers leave a small window of flexibility around the arrival time depending on traffic or accidents on the road.â? 3.5 hours after our agreed upon time does not represent a small window of flexibility. I called back again around 6 because the movers had not arrived. I explained to him that I was not happy and would need a discount from the negotiated price of the move. He offered to take off 50 dollars of the negotiated moving fee we had discussed. I said that that was not a sufficient amount considering the time issues and lack of communication. I then explained that the job was to move my things into a house and into a storage unit. But by the time we made it to Nashville, we would not have access to the storage unit because customers only have access between 6am and 9pm. We could not agree upon a reduced amount, so he said well letâ??s just get you moved safely and weâ??ll see. They arrived at 6:55. When the movers arrived, I expressed my dismay about their late arrival and was informed that they could not possibly make a 12pm call time because they had not left Nashville until 1:30. â??[redacted] tells the customers one thing and the movers something else.â? They got on the road at about 7:47. The drive from Marion to Nashville usually takes about 4-4.15 minutes. Around 10:30, I received a concerned call from the movers. They asked me while we were driving for a gas deposit. I explained to them that I was driving and didnâ??t have any cash. I further explained that I was told by [redacted] that the move did not require a deposit. The movers informed me that they did not have enough gas to get back to Nashville if I did not stop and put gas in the truck myself. At that point, I was terrified. My belongings were out of my possession and I was not sure where the movers were. I inquired about their location, and we arranged to meet at the next big exit which turned out to be exit 205 in Cullman Alabama (about 2.5 hours south of Nashville). I arrived at an Exxon Gas station and put 50 dollars worth of gas into the moving truck. At that point, I followed behind the truck very closely. We arrived in Davidson County at 11:42 but actually arrived at the house at midnight. The movers moved the entire contents of the truck into the house in about 40 minutes. I wrote them a check for 1000 dollars and told them to have their boss call me the next day. Two days later, I received a call from [redacted] asking why he had not received the negotiated amount. I informed him that that was the price of the job being completed to the terms we negotiated. However, none of the terms we discussed were met. There was an utter lack of transparency and the job was not actually ever completed. As a result, of his inability to fulfill his end of the deal, I had to organize a subsequent move using my own money, time, and man power. I also informed him that I would communicate with the Revdex.com, so they would know about this incident. He immediately became very concerned and wanted to be sure that I wasnâ??t going to â??bash himâ? on the internet. At this point, I will never get back the time, energy, and additional funds I utilized to organize a subsequent move, but I can warn future movers about my experience. That way other individuals might not have to endure the level of anxiety, fear, and lack of accountability I faced during my interstate move.

These guys will take care of your moving needs in an excellent way. They are top notch, and less cost! Highly recommend.

Went with this company for our move recently and so thankful we did as they made it stress free and never once showed a bad attitude. Don't normally review but can certainly recommend these guys for being professional. Thanks again and will be using you guys again if we ever decide to move...

Simply put, True Friends Moving are are really friendly, efficient, and very respectful. Although the pricing is on the more expensive end, you are definitely paying for a great service. My move this past weekend was probably the easiest move I have ever experienced (and I've moved a handful of times in my life!) They were out of my old place and into my new one in less than 5 hrs. This included disassembling our beds, wrapping all my furniture, and reassembling my furniture again. Each of the workers were very pleasant to work with, accurately notified me of their arrival time, and let me look into the truck before they took off. The follow-up from them also very reassuring that they truly cared about my move. I definitely recommend True Friends Moving Company if you are looking for great customer service and a fast move.

Brett and Ben did an AWESOME job an moved fast an took care of my stuff like it was there own! Highly recommend moving company an BEST WORKERS I'VE had yet an I've used your company twice lol. ;)

My move was short notice, like 1 hour in advance Short notice, but that wasn't a problem for True Friends. Seth and Justin were both very friendly and helpful. They got my apartment moved out quick and even helped me take my cat trailer on and off my moving truck. And above all they did for a reasonable rate. Thanks guys!
