True North has an excellent serviceThey are very efficient & very accurate in their assessmentsThey notify clients & update them at what stage their application is at with CRA & what to expectThe physicians who are refusing to fill out their patients DTC forms need to be more aware of these credits so that more patients that are entitled Can receive their DTC from CRA

I often heard of companies similar to True North and even contacted a coupleFor the most part I encountered robotic type answers and a refusal to do business as I requestedYou see, I have a problem doing business on the phone As complicated as this process can be, I was not planning on doing it aloneSo, I was put at ease by True North rather fastIn fact, through the entire process, I was asked for a phone consult only onceIt has now been about three months and all is close to being completeThe money has already come though and we are very happy with the results

It all worked out well with True North, they were very helpful, kind and professional I am glad that I worked with them and heard of the information they had published over Facebook, otherwise I would not have known They are even going to help me with some information about setting up a disability retirement savings account that sounds very beneficial My return from CRA was quite substantial too Overall I'm happy with their service

I was sitting in my car on a break at work and saw an ad for True North Disability Services and thought to myself that it must be a scamI then called and talked to one of their advisors and she asked a couple of questions to determine my eligibilityShe then sent me some forms and explained how to fill them all out...so far so good, but still skepticalThe staff is really helpful and friendlyAfter I submitted all my completed forms, they were sent to the governmentThe whole process took about months and I received a considerable tax reassessment ***!
If you are skeptical like I was, go ahead and try this out! You will not be disappointed! Good job Shane and his team, this was money I wasn't even aware I would be getting! The whole process is quite easy and TNDS does all the hard work for you!

I came across this company on Facebook and thought I would look into the Disability Tax CreditI was really happy with the explanation that I received on how to start the process and True North was there to walk me through all the steps that I needed to apply for the creditI have been retired for the last few years, but was told the government could go back ten years on my taxes if I qualifiedTrue North explained that because of the tax season upon us it may take a little longer to have my application looked atBut I started in Early December and just received my back tax credits March 10th/!!
The only draw back about going through True North, is that they have to make some money, which I understand, but they do charge 20% of what you receive and for myself a retired person I think that the charge is too steep, perhaps a flat rate as GST is also charged so it soon adds up, considering you can do this yourself if you have the time and patient to research and understand the Governments rules
All in all it was a very good experience
