True North Disability Services Ltd.

My experience with True North Disability Services has been a very positive one. Beginning with a Facebook ad that was brought to my attention by a family member - an ad that I met with skepticism - I figured I had nothing to lose and followed the simple steps that were laid out for me by True North Disability Services. As simple as it was though, I had NO IDEA that living with Type 1 Diabetes and my life sustaining, self-injected insulin therapy means that I was entitled to receive money back from the government! No one had ever told me this! Until True North Disability Services crossed my path that is.

My case was handled professionally, in a timely manner, and without difficulty. With the guidance and expertise of True North Disability Services, Canada Revenue Agency has reassessed my income tax returns as far back as, and including, 2005 and has granted me access to a certain amount of money that I paid out in the last 10 tax years! And I have already received from the CRA my reassessed income tax return explanation T491 E forms for all those years!

Impressively, the entire process was completed - with government cheque for over $21,000 in my possession - in just over 4 months. Thank you Shane. Thank you Emily. Thank you Amig. You guys are awesome!! Paying True North Disability Services 20% of my total reclaimed money (plus taxes) was a pleasure and a small price to pay in order for me to have an increase of over $16,000 in my bank account!

If one considers the fact that I was fully UNAWARE of my right to access any of this money and that no one was giving up this information to me readily, until now, AND if one considers the fact that there is a time limit on reassessments by the CRA in cases such as this one, and that soon enough I would have lost out on this opportunity to recoup any amount of money I paid out that I didn't have to in the first place, well, I think it is safe to say that I struck proverbial gold here. More people should know about this service! I'm very impressed with my entire experience with this business!

Fast , knowledgeable & easy to deal with. I would recommend this company very highly to anyone who feels they may be eligible for the Disability Tax Credit. You don't know until you ask!

I investigated True North Disability Services to determine if I was qualified for a tax credit due to my Type 2 diabetes. They were extremely informative and helpful with the procedures and qualifications regarding this tax credit. They provided me with the required forms for my doctor to complete and followed through with the filing and follow-up with CRA for a successful filing. All three of the people I dealt with at True North Disability were helpful, polite and professional in their dealings. As a bonus, their fee is not payable until after you are successful with your claim and have received your refund. I believe this is one of those "hidden" credits with CRA that most people are not aware of. I would highly recommend this company for their excellent service and wish them continued success with their business!

I was very skeptic when I called True North. They called me, sent all the information. From my initial phone call to receiving my cheque, 3 months, and that includes me sitting on the form for 2 weeks, again because I was skeptic.

I had the pleasure of using True North Disability Services to research and process my claim for a Disability Credit with Revenue Canada.
From the initial contact, which I made via a link on Facebook, to the successful conclusion of my claim, I have been completely satisfied.
My email to them was promptly answered with a telephone call, and, after I returned their comprehensive questionnaire (to determine possible eligibility), communication was done on a regular basis.
I had three trips to my family physician to answer questionnaires, and contact with TNDS throughout the process.
The Company proved to be knowledgeable and helpful.

Earlier this year a friend suggested I contact True North. I was impressed with the way they guided and helped me thru the process of becoming eligible for a tax deduction. I feel their fee is reasonable because I was not even aware this was available or that I may qualify for it. They kept me informed at all stages.

I am an [redacted] and have been for five years. I applied for the Disability Tax Credit myself and was denied. After reading the requirements for the benefit I felt the decision was unfair but I thought there was nothing I could add to the application. True North was very professional and even came to my house. All the stress and confusion wading through the many pages of the application was gone and they successfully filed my application for me.

Working with True North Disability was really a great experience. The rep assigned to me was extremely helpful and guided me thru the process, even though he did all the "heavy lifting". He was extremely professional, and called me whenever there was an update. Due to his guidance, we had a very positive outcome and I'm extremely grateful to him.

This young company is working well beyond its years. Truly a wonderful experience and more than I had imagined. This team of saviours went after the big guys and when I say big I mean just that. They went head to head with the Canadian Govt and found a gold mine for me. Thank you so much. I encourage any Canadian who lives with a disability to allow this company to represent you. First of all I was surprised that I qualified for a disability credit, this company was very helpful with the whole experience. When you suffer from a disease that makes day to day life difficult. The biggest difficulty is financial, the days I missed from work, the insurance company that had no compassion in understanding I could not go to work and function properly. It was very stressful (which did not help my situation)
All you have to do is contact True North and they will let you know right away if you qualify... Very professional and understanding.
