Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/06/02) */
(The
consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Trulia's agent clearly said she was signing me up for the Plumas Lake Zip code, but someone signed me up for Marysville zip codeI did not the research the zip codes myselfBut trusted the agent that she wouldn't falsely try to sign me up for the wrong citySo what we agreed to was Plumas Lake, not MarysvilleI told trulia many times, but they wont change it, unless I sign up for another two months to extend my contract
How do I know that trulia had no zip codes for the area which was promised to me from the agent? So they just got me to agree and signed me up for the wrong zip Code instead

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/05/13) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
Siteing their payment terms does nothing to disclose
their service offering in writingI have been asking around my network of business peers in the real estate industry and have repeatedly found similar dissatisfaction with the companies services as presented and deliveredI should have asked others' experience before trusting a telesales repno matter how large the company or brand
Unfortunately, others I spoke with have not pursued other forms of resolution than to be dissatisfied and to not work with the company againThe company appears to have a standard business practice of misleading through verbal communication and avoidance of services documentation, then falling back on the "verbal" conversation to justify charging the customer
Smoke and mirrors sales practicesSnake oilIt's been done for centuriesIt appears the back room marketing discussions include the phrase : "Caveat Emptor" "let the buyer beware."
The phrase caveat emptor arises from the fact that buyers often have less information about the good or service they are purchasing, while the seller has more informationDefects in the good or service may be hidden from the buyer, and only known to the sellerThus, the buyer should beware
No concern for satisfaction, honesty, integrity, service level or providing what they stated to provide as stated
Buyers Beware of verbal offers and especially from Trulia
It is still appropriate in this complaint and for resolution, for the company to provide a written description of the service they are verbally selling

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/05/15) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The company used an
entrapment method to deliver bad service/no service, in the end charging clients for something that clients' expect to receive but didn't
The sales representative who I talked to, on many occasions before I finally decided to sign up, only because time after time, he promised me that I would receive an "estimated amount" of leads based on the "percentage of marketing I was buying"He said I would receive approximately - leads based on the data they had collected for my zip codeI only received - leads the most in any given month that I was on the service
In addition, not ONE single lead was a good leadThey all had incorrect contact numbers or ring to no one
I feel I was ripped off

Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 7, 2015/05/18) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
The
terms and conditions were agreed to at the time of purchase subject to the allegations and claims of performance of the salesperson at that time, which have not been metA substantial sum of money was paid for a service that did not result in any real estate listing contracts being taken on, nor did it result in anywhere near the number of contracted contacts per billing periodAt the end of the day, terms of service are no substitution for old-fashioned customer service and the desire to make things rightBased upon the rating that Trulia has with the Revdex.com, this may be something they should consider looking intoI do not accept this response because it does not address my dissatisfaction with their Seller Ads service, nor does it make ANY reasonable attempt at compensating me for non-performance of the system that I was unknowingly a beta tester for

All listings are sent to Trulia through a variety of feed sources such as partners, brokers, agents, third-party feed providers, or directly from an MLS. What is a feed?A feed is a means to publish frequently updated data in a consistent data formatIn the Trulia Listings Feed process, it's an
XML file that transmits your listingsTypically, a Web master or software developer will set up the feed and submit it to TruliaTrulia does not pull listings from different websites. If a feed source sends us their listing, any changes made at the feed source take hours to update to TruliaTherefore, if a listing is removed at the feed source, it automatically removes from Trulia within hours. I checked the property at *** *** *** *** *** ** *** and can confirm this rental listing has already been removed and is showing as an off market 'Public Record' property (screenshot provided to show same)
