Review: I had work done on my car in late June 2013, the alinement they did was incorrect and I had made 4 trips back to them to correct it. All 4 time they did have time to redo the alinement. This past Saturday I can back to them from just leaving another repair shop with proof it was out(not corrected) and that it was fixed. They manager stated at tuffys that he is requesting a refund for me. I would see it no later then Tuesday! I asked the manager for a copy page or something showing I will be getting a refund. He stated " we don't do that! You can trust me"!Well still me refund and no call back from tuffys manager!!Thanks for you helpDesired Settlement: Full refund

Review: I brought my car into tuffy to have a simple Oil change completed. After the oil change was done the check engine light went off a week later. So I brought my car into my normal mechanic and my mechanic informed me the cap was left off of my oil and oil had spewed all over my engine. Also the oil pressure switch was affected by this which is what made my check engine light go off. I went to tuffy the day my car was fixed by my mechanic and explained to them that I would like a refund for my oil change as well as what I had to pay extra to the other shop for the damages caused by Tuffy. I presented tuffy with a bill from the other shop stating exactly what happened and the damage caused(which I will attach to this complaint if possible). Tuffy did refund me for my oil change which was 25$ and the young woman working the desk stated a manager would call me about the refund for the bill I recieved from my mechanic. I waited 3 days and recieved no call. I proceeded to call today and the manager of the shop (darnell I believe was his name) didnt seem to have record of the bill I dropped off when I was speaking with him and stated that the car should have smoked immediately had the cap been left off and would not take responsibility for the bill. I informed him I would be filing a complaint with you all and the gentleman said I was threatening him and hung up in my face.Desired Settlement: I would like tuffy to reimburse me for the bill I was given by general auto and tire because the damage was caused by there mistake. The amount in total is 157.46

He decided to embark on "his remedy" without our consult and or consent and he has to be responsible for his decisions.We could have cared for it at one of our many Richmond Area Tuffy Shops for FREE but he choose to remedy it on his own. I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.As I stated before I had no way of knowing that my check engine light came on because someone at tuffy couldn't perform a task as simple as an oil change. I figured this out after I brought my car to my normal mechanic. Also this seems to be the first time that the business has even acknowledged the fact that they messed up the oil change which is despicable. I don't want the refund anymore as it's clear to me now this company is unwilling to accept responsibility for its own actions. I will be sure to never spend another dime in a tuffy auto center and I will do everything in my power to let everyone know just how poor of a job this company does in regards to its quality of work and its customer service
