My experience with Wyndham Capital Mortgage was not without a few bumps along the way but what I liked is that my Loan Officer, xxxxx, always took ownership of getting issue resolved, provided frequent and accurate communication, and was always responsive when I had a question or concern. I had never heard of Wyndham Capital Mortgage prior to being contacted by them, but I am confident I made a good choice in doing my refinance with them. I would recommend Wyndham and xxxxx to anyone shopping for mortgage services.

I just completed a refinance with xxxxx. I had several goals including reducing my mortgage payment and paying off a boat. I decided to accept his recommendation of a 25 year loan and completed my closing this week. He always stayed in touch with me and was able to answer all questions. xxxxx is definitely a professional and I would recommend him to any of my friends and colleagues.

I was provided with excellent service from xxxxx and the Wyndham Capital team. There were a number of bumps in the loan process but xxxxx was there to help me through them, provide good advice, and ultimately, to get the loan approved. Furthermore, everything is done online which makes the process easy, efficient, and streamlined. xxxxx isn't the only company that is "engineered to amaze." I would definitely recommend xxxxx and Wyndham Capital.

I knew the first time I talked to him that xxxxx was going to be great to work with. He understood what I was looking for, provided good advice, and was quick to provide the details I needed to make a decision on whether to refinance. From that point on, the process was a breeze. xxxxx was great about communicating updates to me and responded to my calls and emails in a very timely manner. Great experience!

xxxxx at Wyndham Capital has always been extremely helpful. He's able to answer every question that I've had, and boy have there been a ton! He's always willing to do research and uncover the best option for me and my family.

You always feel like you are working with professionals...

I was introduced to Wyndham Capital Mortgage through my membership at xxxxx in 2013 while we were shopping for a lender to finance the home we built. I was very impressed with the initial contact I had with xxxxx. He did a great job of explaining our options and answering our questions throughout our home buying experience. The process was very easy and xxxxx was always accessible by phone or email and very quick to follow up with us. We have since refinanced with xxxxx at Wyndham and we are current working with them for our next move. I would highly recommend Mr. xxxxx and Wyndham Capital.

We just completed our fourth re-fi utilizing xxxxx at Wyndham Capital, which in itself should speak volumes. We have continued to use xxxxx because we trust in his expertise to get us the best rate for our circumstances. The personnel on his team have always been very professional and courteous to work with, most recently xxxxx. They are readily available to respond to issues that arise and are timely in their responses. I would recommend xxxxx and his team to anyone in the market for a new mortgage or who might be considering refinancing.

There are main things to point out that other reviewers also had problems with.

I was speaking with xxxxx and his manager xxxxx.

1. I was told on a "recorded conversation" that the inquiry I was to receive was going to be a soft inquiry but ended up being a HARD inquiry.

In the recorded conversation xxxxx said "but I asked you if I could pull your credit" and I guess this means I should know that it would be a hard inquiry when you pull someone's credit even if I was told it was a soft inquiry. Go figure. Check other reviews that had same problem.

2. Since I am going to them with an appraisal at hand from another company, xxxxx had said that if we go ahead with an appraisal that I will be reimbursed at time of closing. The NJ application disclosures state otherwise.

The box chosen states:
"If appraisal has not been ordered, the full amount will be refunded."
But there's a box right below it that can be used for other reasons.
If you choose the box below that, it states "Refundable if:".
If the option is there, why can't we use it to state:
"Refundable if: the borrower successfully closes the loan with Wyndham Capital Mortgage."

xxxxx, I understand the last loan you had in process items changed on you so rightfully you are being cautious. All our disclosures are automated with very little flexibility for us to change them. We input fees and they come out. This is due to heavy compliance restrictions and to make sure we are 100% in compliance at all times. I know it seems like a simple matter but it isnâ??t.

I will check to see if there is something we can do here. My assumption is we are not going to be able to change the form. If that is the case is there some other option that would work for you? This is the first time I have had someone not accept an email stating we would credit them back for an appraisal so I am a bit caught off guard but would like to find a way to make this work. Would a letter I type up an sign work? That would be more official than an email and something I can definitely do this morning.

I have withdrawn my application based off of other reviews that are similar to what I encountered.

Think about it, for legal matters wouldn't you want to see what you are told over the phone in writing?

I don't care for what they have to say in response to this because DECIDE YOURSELF when they say things on the phone and don't get it in writing.

3. xxxxx decided to use a value other than what we discussed over the phone. The value of the appraisal from the previous lender was under appraised at $255,000. With that number in mind, I was assessed with value of my home at $290,000.

Common sense tells me that this number has no reason to be in the file based off of the conversation the night prior. I had agreed to using $260,000 or $265,000 even to make sure we are writing up terms as close as possible while we await the re-appraisal. Where did $290,000 come from?

xxxxx kept saying "we" decided to use that number.

When I said "who is we? me and you or you and WCM?" and he said "me and you".

I am clearly stating that I discussed the numbers were $260,000 to $265,000 as a safe value and then he said "well it only takes 15 seconds to make the changes" but IT TOOK 15 minutes of arguing to get it done.

ONCE AGAIN, think about it. If it takes 15 seconds to do why not just do it?

4. The communication was horrid. When my concerns were brought to their attention, the only time they came running to answer my questions was when I mentioned a review on Revdex.com.

I couldn't get xxxxx nor xxxxx to answer my concerns for 4-5 hours UNTIL I mentioned this review on Revdex.com and then I got both of them AND a loan coordinator to contact me all at the same time within MINUTES!!!

That alone should speak for itself.

Would you want to do business with a company that isn't readily available at time of need?

I'm sure they'll have something smart to say in rebuttal but dismiss it and THINK FOR YOURSELF.

I'm here to inform you of what to look out for.

Wyndham Capital Mortgage was very enticing with terms discussed via phone but when it comes down to the paperwork BEWARE!!

GOOD LUCK if you decide to use Wyndham Capital Mortgage.

REMEMBER, matters discussed over a "recorded line" doesn't matter if you don't have it IN WRITING.

I highly recommend Wyndham Capital and especially my loan officer, xxxxx. Wyndham Capital demonstrated excellent customer service throughout my refinance. xxxxx stayed engaged throughout the process (which was not my experience with my former lender during my last refinance). xxxxx periodically checked in with me during the document collection and underwriting process and gave me regular status updates and answered all of my questions. My calls and emails were always promptly returned - xxxxx and the rest of his team, especially xxxxx(who was my primary contact during the document collection and underwriting phase) made sure to keep moving the loan process forward, and I never had to ask "what's going on with my loan?". From start to finish, xxxxx was extremely professional and a pleasure to work with, and as a result of xxxxx and xxxxx and the rest of the Wyndham team that worked on my refinance, I will definitely use them again in the future.

xxxxx and xxxxx were very responsive, paid attention to all the details, reworked my loan a few different times to accommodate my requirements and was patient through the whole ordeal when we kept hitting issues that prevented the loan from processing. xxxxx and xxxxx together are to be commended for their excellent customer service and willingness to go the extra mile to assist a client.

We had a great mortgage refinance experience with Wyndham Capital Mortgage, not only did they work with us to come up with specific options for our situation, we got a great rate. The people at Wyndham are all about getting things done in an efficient and friendly manner.

We had a wonderful experience working with Wyndham Capitlal. Our primary representative -xxxxx- was very knowledgeable and professional throughout the entire process. xxxxx was also very responsive. We were pleased that everything worked out in line with what we had hoped would be the case.

I used Wyndham Capital Mortgage for my home refinance work. I worked with xxxxx who was very knowledgable and supportive. xxxxx really took the time to understand what my needs were before offering any solutions. He listened to all of my questions even if they were repetitive. xxxxx and the entire Wyndham Capital team were professional, supportive and really made a stressful process "stress free" I really liked the automated web portal for submitting documents and tracking the progress of the process. I thought once the closing was done I would never hear from Wyndham Capital again, that is until today when I received a nice cookie tin at my door. Very professional and honest people to do business with!

My wife and I have used xxxxx at Wyndham Capital multiple times over the last several years. It is amazing to be able to call a company (even after a few years) and the same person is not only able to assist you, but he actually remembers you. Mr. xxxxx is incredibly knowledgeable, thorough, and quick to reply. He has always pointed us in the right direction, and his advice has always been accurate. It has gotten to the point where we feel as if he is someone we have known personally who happens to be in the mortgage business, as opposed to someone we have never met in person and has only helped us via the phone and internet. If only every financial experience/decision/process went as smoothly as this.

We were having trouble finding a good mortgage company to finance our home purchase. This home was going to be the home we raised our kids in with the big back yard. I decided to use the dreaded xxxxx site but they have worked well for me in the past. Wyndham called and basically said all the right things. This company was so easy to work with. There customer service was second to none. We absolutely LOVE them. Plus xxxxx endorses them and they give you cookies when you close. LOVE them!

xxxxx was extremely professional, courteous, responsive, and patient. One of my earliest conversations involved me telling him that I do not trust people in the mortgage industry and equate them to used car salesmen. My view was that they would say whatever they need to say, leave topics intentionally ambiguous, and lock you into something with unexpected surprises that lead to disappointment with the process and the product. He responded by telling me that he was confident that my view would change because he was there to serve me well.

Great job! I came out of the experience pleased above and beyond what I could have ever expected.

Worked with xxxxx and xxxxx on our house Re-Fi. They were excellent in communication and follow up. Out county told the closing attorney's office that our first mortgage company did not pay the property tax so I had to pay it before closing could be complete. Then after closing I found out xxxxx County already got paid for the year's property tax from our first mortgage company's Escrow account statement. I went back to the county and they insisted they didn't get double paid. xxxxx spent time and effort (even after closing was completed) to help me get the county property tax back. I really appreciate their professionalism and excellent customer service.

Wyndham Capital was amazing. Fastest most efficient Home loan I have ever done. xxxxx, and xxxxx were fantastic.
