The policy was sold 5/17/2016 and the cancel date in the system is 6/8/2016. This falls within the 30 day period which awards you a full refund. The down deposit of $250.00 will be refunded within 2-3 weeks.

Dear [redacted] After receiving and reviewing this complaint dated back to January 17, we have forwarded your complaint to the General Manager. First off I want to sincerely apologize for no one responding to this complaint in a timely manner. There was a mishap with the person who monitors our...

Revdex.com account as our office is growing and expanding. After reviewing all the details to this case I gathered all dates and phone calls from your account. What I have is the date of the sale as 1/11, 1/23 speaking with [redacted] who answered all questions pertaining to when you will be reviewing the policy, the date you received the policy 1/23, two calls from 1/26 that were both dropped, and another call from 1/27 when you tried to cancel. In regards to the calls being dropped 1/26, that was something that we could not control, as they were working on our phone lines since the expansion. As for the call on 1/27, you spoke to three different reps. After listening to the calls, I am deeply sorry for the way one of the customer services reps handled the call. Therefore, we record all customer services calls so we can use them for training purposes and disciplinary actions. This is no way I want my company ran, and I apologize for the quality of the call. The contract was cancelled 2/23 and the refund was processed 3/2. All customers are entitled to 30 days to review the policy in which you were still within that trial. Our customer services reps tried to do their job in earning your business, but in an aggressive manner that is against our company ethics. These reps will all be re-trained in how to handle calls better. I apologize again for any stress this has caused. The money was refunded on March 2. If there is anything else I could do please reach out.   Joshua P[redacted] General Manager Motor Vehicle Assurance[redacted]

reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

As stated in the contract (policy booklet) the cancellation process states in order to cancel and receive a full refund you must write a written cancel letter to us, Nationwide Vehicle Assurance and the administrator, SunPath within 30 days of when the booklet was delivered to the address. The 30 day period has expired. There is no refund due at this time.

[redacted] First and foremost , thank you for your feedback on our company and your experience. We do our best to achieve high customer service and a quality product to our current and potential customers and we can only sustain this by reviews like yours. Upon looking over all notes and...

information regarding your policy, here was what was found. You spoke to a sales representative on 10/6 regarding an extended service contract and agreed to a deposit of $1500 to secure your 30 day review period. It seems like there has been a line of miscommunication with our sales representative as [redacted] does provide their new car buyers with a 4 year and 50,000 mile manufacturer warranty, for that we do apologize. We will assure that all of our sales representatives do know about all of the manufacturers warranties to avoid any confusion. The call was simply to offer you an extension of full coverage to last 5 years and 100,000 miles. Our customer service representatives spoke to you as well as your dealership on 10/17/2016 and in that same day, we cancelled your 30 day review period and refunded your $1500 back to your [redacted] due to your cancel request and being covered through your dealership. If you have any other questions or concerns, please contact us at [redacted] Monday- Friday 9AM to 5PM EST or you can reach me directly at the same phone number, Extension [redacted]  Best Regards,Stephanie C[redacted] - Customer Service SupervisorMotor Vehicle Assurance[redacted]

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me as long as I am no longer contacted by this business. I do want to add a log off the calls I have received by the business: 10/31 2:52pm, 10/27 9:34am,10/26 8:33 am, 10/16 1:39pm, 10/11 1:00pm, 10/5 2:14pm, 10/3 9:50am, 10/2 9:41am, 9/22 9:43 am, 9/20 8:14am, 9/18 8:51am, 9/15 11:53 am, 9/14 8:33am, 9/12-9:33am, 9/11 1:06pm, 9/7 12:05pm, 8/24 7:54am, 8/23 10:32am and 11:37 am, 7/31 9:38am... And the last goes on dating back months and months. This company called me from different "local" numbers that I was able to identify as being them by either answering the call, or calling the number back and listening to the recording. Several times adding myself to their so called no call list. By this company claiming to only have contacted me a couple times, they are either lying or massively unaware of the numbers of calls being put out.

[redacted]We thank you very much for your inquiry into this matter. Accurate mileage is very important at the time of purchase due to qualifying you in the correct coverage for your vehicle. Unfortunately, after looking into the mileage of your car at the time of purchase, it was said to have been...

around 130k at that time. This would make your particular vehicle ineligible for the policy. Additionally, upon looking into your contract here with us, it is stated that your contract has been cancelled and is in process of being fully refunded. One of our customer service reps will be contacting you when this is done with information regarding the refund. If you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to contact us Monday- Friday 9AM to 5PM EST at [redacted]. Thank you!

We are sorry for the confusion you guys experienced. All contracts are required a written notice to cancel the policy per the contract so we have documentation. Also for the notarized odometer statement, this is used for pro rated refunds if there is one due. All contracts within the 30 days get the...

deposit back 100% as long as we received the cancel letter and contract within that time. If you have any further questions please contact me at [redacted].  Thanks[redacted] Compliance Director

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: This company in no way has taken any responsibility for the fact that they did not comply with their own return policy, and I had to resort to filing a dispute with my credit card company in order to get my refund.
