[redacted] Regional Office, followed up on the information Ms. [redacted] provided. She informed our office she spoke to Ms. [redacted] and discussed the rental charges with her. They were able to reach an amicable agreement and a refund in the amount of $91.23, which includes a refund for one day rental of the truck, furniture pads, Safemove Protection and tax as well as only a charge for the fuel from the 1.9 mark. The refund was issued back to the credit card listed on the rental agreement and should post on their next credit card statement.

Gregory Q[redacted], General Manager, reached out on 7/7/2016 regarding the additional charges. Mr. Q[redacted] apologized, and refunded $69.24 back to Mr. [redacted]’s card. Please allow 3-5 business days for that credit appear on Mr. [redacted]’s account.
 
As we value Mr. [redacted] as a customer, we also sent him a $25.00 VIP Certificate that can be used toward a future purchase or rental on the many products and services U-Haul has to offer. 
 
Along with our basic truck and trailer rentals, we rent pick-up trucks and cargo vans.  We rent towing equipment, storage units, steam cleaners and garden equipment. We sell permanent hitches, boxes, packing supplies and propane in addition to many other items.
 
Our customers are very important to us and we regret to hear of situations that cause problems for them. Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention and allowing us to offer a response.

I see you were charged on 6/10 for $2112. It was charged late on our behalf and that was a mistake. I am approved to give you the refund of 10% to the cc that was charged on the 10th. The amount will be $211.20. you will see it in 1-5 business days. I am sorry for any inconvienence you had and hope you have a great week.
