I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me? I do have a couple of comments regarding this resolution? The letter implies that the delays in processing were due to my indecision over the loan amount, which is not true? Additionally, they claim that they transferred the appraisal and necessary loan information prior to the Revdex.com complaint? This, too, is not true? I had to go through the VA directly - which I can prove with documentation - a month AFTER I requested the transfer in order to get the appraisal sent to my new agent to continue the process? I am not happy with NLCs characterization of these events, and their unwillingness to accept fault in this.Having said this, however, I am happy that they have admitted their fault in requiring an engineering inspection that was not necessary, and that they have refunded me the cost of that inspection

* Nations Lending Corporation (“NLC”) has reviewed and investigated the Revdex.com concern filed by the consumerBoth the loan officer and consumer were contacted in an effort to gain a better understanding of the concerns raisedAfter a thorough review, NLC management determined that the subject property had been built within the same year the consumer completed the loan application with NLC.? Due to the time frame, the home did not meet an FHA guideline requiring a month seasoning of newly constructed homesA follow up was scheduled for the beginning of March.? However, due to unforeseen circumstances, the loan officer was out of the office and was unaware that the borrower had reached out to continue his loan applicationOnce the loan officer returned, he reached out to the consumer to continue the loan process with NLC, but the consumer had already initiated a loan with a different lenderDue to the circumstance regarding the FHA guideline, NLC has decided to refund the third party appraisal fee back to the consumer Our goal at NLC is to provide a positive customer experience, no matter the end result of a loan application isWe take all consumer concerns very seriously and apply those concerns into our work environment to avoid these issues in future circumstances? officer and processor were contacted in an attempt to gain a better understanding of the concerns raised? The loan processor assigned to the file was mistakenly under the impression that the particular investor associated with the complainant’s file, required the dwelling coverage to be equal or in excess of the total loan amount.? With this particular case, that was simply not correct.? The processor later clarified this requirement with the underwriter and let the complainant know that his coverage amount was sufficient ? The complainant was not satisfied with the response and still wished to withdraw his loan application.? Per his request, NLC withdrew his application as requested and ceased correspondence.? After the complaint was received from the Revdex.com, a member of the NLC management team verified that no representatives would contact the complainant or other parties involved in the transaction.? ? NLC transferred the appraisal to the complainant’s new lender as requestedLater, a member of the management team verified the new lender had received the transferred appraisal.? ? I will state again that the initial agent Gerald *** was aware of the fact that our property had been re-titled back to us in January of when we first began the qualification information needed to apply for any loan with NLC.? At no time did anyone question that fact or that it would make any difference in obtaining the loan.? We were the initial owners and had paid off the first mortgage on the property and have lived on the property for the last years.? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? We have been contacted by Carolyn ***, an employee of NLC, who offered us $in resolution, not $450.00? To my knowledge there has been no money refunded as I made it very clear to Miss *** that was not an acceptable resolution, and flatly refused her offer.? As far as another review from NLC in the future, we would not qualify for their loan or any other loan from a lender due to the long loan process with NLC, the status of our credit score, (from the time of applying to loan denial our credit score dropped points.)? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? At this time we are financially unable to pay our basic living expenses and are considering bankruptcy since dealing with NLC.? ? Had NLC been more truthful and transparent we might now have our finances taken care of and our credit saved.? We tried desperately to make that happen, and because we were dependent and trusting in what NLC lead us to believe we now are facing a financial crisis
