This gym has been the worst experience with a membership anywhere. After only a few months into my 6 month contract I was ready to get out! My monthly rate was supposed to cut in half after the contract was fulfilled but to my surprise I was charged the full amount of $80. When I tried to get my refund and cancel I was told after multiple attempts to even get a hold of someone that I could not get a refund. They would just give my next month free (their scam of a way to get you to stay). At this time I was hoping that management would change but I did go in to meet with the manager to cancel. He talked me out of cancelling promising a change. He said that if I still decided that I wanted to cancel just get my form in before the 1st to avoid billing charges. Well, I got my free month and came in to cancel. To my surprise I was then told I would have to fulfill a 30-day notice AND pay 2 months! First of all, I was upset with the 30 day notice because the manager ([redacted]) told me just to get it in before the 1st, which I did. But, ALSO a second payment? Why would I need to pay 2 months for 30 days? I was so angry that I contacted the regional manager ([redacted]) to let him know the situation. I am an honest person and would pay the month if I knew but I was told what to do and I followed those exact directions. They told me that they were aware of the issues with the manager that is no longer employed but they would not help me in any way. So, I changed my credit card number so that they could not charge me any further. About 2 months later they somehow got a hold of my new card number (illegal) and charged me 3 times! I went in the gym to explain my situation and they saw that my cancellation form was not even processed and they were relentless to refunding me the 2 months plus a late fee. I am so disappointed with the management and corporate staff of this gym. WORST GYM! I now drive 13 miles out of the way to go to [redacted]. The staff is friendly, I feel valued, the gym is clean and the instructors are treated well which creates a pleasant environment. I will continue to warn all friends and family NOT to attend UFC Gym Ahwatukee. You will be scammed and stolen from.

I spoke to Amy and she understands that she did not fill out a cancelation form in accordance with her membership agreement until after the charges that she was charged were due. She said when we spoke over the phone that she was going to not only pull the complaint but also stop by and pay the 2...

Upon signing up, the GM worked out a payment plan which broke up her initial payments to help the financial burden. Her statement claims to have spoke with the company on August 11, 2016 but she in fact...

signed her membership agreement on August 8 and made her first payment on the 12th. After her first payment she had contacted Carlos to cancel the remaining. Carlos has followed the rules set in place by our corporate office in relation to membership cancellations. That said, we have cancelled her membership and any remaining payments. apologies. He texted me on November 25th (I still have all of the texts), a day after I first went in with a Groupon for 10 drop-in fitness classes that I never had the opportunity to use. I signed up for a 3 month contract the day after Thanksgiving as part of a Black Friday deal. I even spoke with former trainer Jeffery W[redacted] recently, who recalled that my contract was for 3 months, and 3 months only. Someone named Kevin responded to me on Yelp, stating that no employees contact clients through text but that is false, as both Cory and the manager Raul used text as the only form of contact I ever received from the gym.

adventures. Originally, the cancellation form was claimed to be  turned into the [redacted] UFC Gym, where [redacted] was a member of the UFC Gym in [redacted]. The information was forwarded over and was to be taken care of, but unfortunately there must have been some miscommunication. All charges have been waived and the account has been closed. The collection calls will stop once the system updates. No charges should be reported to [redacted]’s Credit Report. If there are any further issues, please call the gym and get ahold of the manager as soon as possible. Thank you for your time, patients, and cooperation on this matter.

Tried to cancel my service at UFC GYM (because I found a better deal elsewhere) after just 26 hours of joining but they told me that I wouldn't get a refund of the 78$ I paid upfront for 2 months. They said they would cancel my membership but my membership would still be valid for 2 months. I didn't even use it, was only a member for 1 day and dont want to use it, why can't they just cancel and give me my money back? That makes no sense.

UFC GYM VIRGINIA BEACH:
Zero Star Ranking! Complete Rip off, continuing to charged my card after cancellation, recorded prepaid workout sessions as completed that were never used. High staff turnover and poor management. I have lost $150 in 3 sessions that I never used, $80 Family member workout card never used & charged over $177 after cancellation. Grand total taken is over $400 and they still keep charging me. I signed cancellation papers months ago. Horrible experience, avoid this gym at all costs. Left duplicate messages to resolve without any return call. Disputing all unauthorized charges to my account.

I am a member of the BJ Penn UFC Gym in Honolulu, HI. I have a few concerns that have not been addressed for a long time. These have been brought up with management, but nothing has been done.

In the men's locker room, there are locks that have been on lockers since July. I started checking these in July and they are always there. I kept track of locker #'s 197 - 203 and #'s 225 - 229. There are many more but it's not my job the take care of the locker room. I come to the gym at various times during the week, as early as 3:00 am, and the locks are always there. Last week at approx. 3:15 am, I counted no more than 15 people in in the gym, but I had a hard time finding an empty locker. I think members or staff are using them as personal property.

There is only ONE of five showers that work properly. The others are in such disrepair. The handles are missing, soap dispensers are broken, and doors are broken.

The urinals are constantly non-functional. It's a gamble to hope one of them is working.

There are many businesses around the gym and many of their employees park in the UFC Gym lot. The amount of stalls are already limited. One recent Saturday morning (4:30 am) I couldn't find a stall until I went behind the gym. What's worse, there was approx. 19 people in the gym at that time.

There are a few more minor things, but I guess these come with the territory.

Please help.

I used to love the gym, I was a member for years and would always encourage people to sign up. Until I moved and lost my debit card and they put my account into collects. My late fee went from $222 to $741 in TWO DAYS. When I called the payment department they stated they could not help me because they sent my information to collections and it “was out of their hands”. No other gym has ever done this. READ THE FINE PRINT BEFORE SIGNING ANY OF THIER CONTRACTS. Seriously a terrible company that doesn’t care about anything but money.

Hello -- I'm not sure what happened here, but we don't have an employee named Alex, we never have. Is it possible you signed up at a different UFC a gym then transferred your membership to Scottsdale? I will continue to look into it.
