replacementUpon opening the phone signs of water damage appeared, so we did the litmus paper test and the the paper turned red signifying our diagnosis.4. We replaced the phone screen which had water damage so we could not warranty the screen replacement. The customer signed off on the sheet that stated thisCustomer returned to store on September 25th with hairline cracks under the screen, which we originally thought were scratches but upon further investigation realized what they were, which was hairline cracks due to battery swelling under the screenCustomer was not satisfied, we offered a discount and stated that it would not be warrantied once again because of the water damage, and scratches. Customer called Lloydminster store and talked to the owner Ali Syed. Ali offered a discount and didn't know about water damage, so he offered a discount based on the phone being scratched. *** *** *** ** ** * *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** *** ** * *** ** *** *** ** *** *** ** *** *** *** ** ** *** ** ** *** *** *** ** *** ***7. Adele called her back and explained it to her again as a courtesy call, at which point we reinstated that the phone had water damage and she agreed that it did have water damage. Adele was worried that because of the water damage the phone battery might burn up or explode. Customer responded with ok, and hung up the phone.We have done everything in our power to help this customer, and we simply cannot do anymore than what we offered originally, which was 30% off of a new screen. However we are still concerned that the new screen will not work due to the water damage in the phone from a previous incident
