Over months ago we discovered that Uline was charging us shipping based on the weight of what we orderedEverything that we ordered from them came with if not of their giant catalogsWe asked it to stop, we were told it wouldThe very next week we got catalogs in the mail every other day of the weekWe got over catalogs in one weekWe called again, again we were told it would stopThe next week more, finally we called again and demanded this stop or we were going to take actionWe were told it would stopThe frequency of the catalogs have slowed down, but today we got catalogsThe person we spoke with on the phone told us it could take months for us to be removedIT'S BEEN MONTHS! She said that there was nothing more she could do and that we would likely continue to get catalogsWHY!! Why do you need stupid catalogs?! All of your products are online, there is no [redacted] need!! They are just wasting trees and paper, and this is completely unethical business practice

I would like to thank ULine for quickly removing me from their mailing list (which I never subscribed to in the first place); however their response is generic and does nothing to convince me they will do their best to reduce their wasteful marketing practice As this is the case, I have determined that their reply does not resolve my complaint in any way as the complaint was specifically regarding their page book they send to non-clients as a prospecting tool The complaint was not regarding being on a mailing list I did not subscribe to
No further communication is necessary but I do not consider this complaint "Resolved"

Based on the information that MsHarmon provided we removed her from our mailing list. We confirmed today, April 29, 2014, that she had not received any further catalogs. Ms*** expressed her appreciation for our attention to her complaint

This company does not require credit card verification My information was stolen and used to purchase items on Uline Uline did not ask for a CVV code They also refused to refund me the money or look into the problem further They were very unhelpful and unconcerned with the situation that they allowed to happen

Bought two orders of heavy duty shelving with particle board deckingOrders came promptly and shelves are good solid stuffHowever...particle board decking is not appropriate for hot and humid parts of the country as the particle board is like a mold incubator mediumLive in Florida and had bad mold in monthsHad to replace with plywoodParticle can not be used in this environment without being coated by painting, sealing and they say stainingThese coating requirements make particle board impracticableThey are kind of smart *** when I offered this infoYou can buy the same stuff almost anywhere else

I feel that ULINE has made a colossal mistakeI visited the Coppell, TX ULINE team at the "Putting Texans Back To Work" Career Fair in March and was very polite to them, informing them of my interest in the "Warehouse Management Trainee" opening they offered at their Texas locationI applied on their website for that opening, using the same resume as at the fairThe online posting (still active as of writing) states very EXPLICITLY: "Bachelor’s degreeThrive in a fast-paced, warehouse environment." I am totally qualified for this opening, as I have a BBA degree (graduated almost years ago), and have worked in two warehouse jobsAnd guess what they did to me? THEY REJECTED ME! (On a Saturday, no less - two days after posting my resume on the official site! Not to mention that I am not even a minority, either!)
I feel that my experience with ULINE has been terrible and I feel that I deserve a second chance at that opening, or any other Bachelor-level opening anywhere within the ULINE systemIf denied, I will never apply for this company again, even if I am experienced, and I hope to never recommend ULINE to any wouapplicants, either
