communicate with the customer and a carrier to get the car shipped. It has currently been picked up from Pennsylvania and is in route to Georgia with an estimated delivery date of Friday/Saturday, barring any further delays. We have greatly appreciated the customer working with us to get things moving as quickly and safely as possible.

This individual was quoted a rate on a 3rd party site, [redacted].  There was a temporary error in our quoting model which produced a rate that was roughly 1/3 the cost of the next cheapest competitor.  The current best rate for her vehicle on that particular route on...

[redacted] is $899, with prices going up to $2,910.Rates quoted on [redacted] are not guaranteed.  Once someone requests to book a published rate with a service provider the service provider has the option to accept or reject the booking request if the quoted price was too low.  Most providers reject some of these booking requests.This individual received an instant quote from an automated model on a 3rd party site.  As soon as she talked to a real person at Ultra Auto Transport we immediately informed her of the issue and at her request we told her what the correct price would be.

I am rejecting this response because:As of November 13, 2016 at 9:23 AM, we still do not have a car, nor do we know if we will ever see it.  Communication from this company has been horrible.  We did find out that many northerners ship their vehicles down to Florida at the end of October, but this shipping company should have called and told us this from the beginning.  They should have provided daily updates.We just want our car that we paid money for.

We had the customer's order dispatched for pickup on 9/21. Unfortunately the driver could not meet the available time frame of the pickup contact, who was not available to release the customer's vehicle after 4 PM. Our driver's ETA was 5 PM. We have been working diligently, since this scheduling...

conflict, to assign another driver. To this point, we simply have not the availability to do so. We have refunded, in full, the amount of the customer's order, $599, to the credit card that he provided when booking the transaction. The refund was processed immediately after the customer cancelled his order, this morning.Attached are screenshots of all transactions and a copy of the refund receipt / transaction itself.

Per the customer's account his vehicle was delivered on November 13, 2016. It looks to have been delivered later in the day after he responded to this complaint earlier in the morning. We have attempted to reach out to the customer via telephone and email without success in reaching him. We will attempt to reach out to the customer again to address any remaining issues that he may have to ensure everything is taken care of.

as a broker, we organize the transport, but never have possession of the vehicle and are not responsible for carrier conduct. As a courtesy, we were happy to offer a $150 refund, which is more than the IRS mileage rate for reimbursements. You refused our initial offer, but we would still like to settle this with you. We agree the car should not have been driven without your permission, but the bulk of the complaint lies with the carrier.

Upon review of Mr. [redacted]'s assertions, we have determined this to be a frivolous claim. Mr. [redacted] has threatened litigation and we have been advised by our attorney not to comment further.
