Review: My mother came home from rehab & they ordered a hospital bed for her which was delivered on Thursday, 8/*/15. The bed didn't work properly and the man said it needed a part. He brought the part on Friday and still didn't work. Couldn't deliver part or new bed till Monday. Monday came and went and not part or bed. Today the man came and ask the caregiver if we wanted a new bed or just part, so I said he could replace the part as long as it worked after. The man went down to get part but never came back up to install it. This company has the worst customer service. You are dealing with patients and they should get there act together. Please respond asap.Desired Settlement: Functional hospital bed

Review: I purchased and paid cash for medical supplies for after care from [redacted], which was all found to be covered by Medicare. The customer service rep promised to return my monies of $155.00 for returned Medical supplies Items that was not needed. They pick up the returned item, but never refund the monies. On several occations I called and could not get a clear answer or any answer at all, as to when my monies is going to be return. When someone finally anwered, I was told that the money was going to be mailed out. That was three weeks ago. I have all the receipts from the delivery to the pick up of the returned medical supplies.Desired Settlement: My desired outcome is to receive my full amount of $155.00 for medical supplies returned and to make sure all medical supply that was received be charged to medicare, medicaid. Medicare and medicaid has informed me that they will pay for all needed equipment for after care from the [redacted] I should not have paid for any medical supplies.

Patient had received Medical Supplies and paid cash for items. The items were returned and a refund was requested for the items paid for. The refund has been submitted on 6/**/2014 for $155.00 to be returned to the Customer/patient.

Review: I am a [redacted] survivor who is now using an ostomy bag. On June [redacted] my daughter ordered for me on a rush some bags that I needed. She was quoted $160.00, we thought was steep at the time but were needed. So we charged them via my credit card. When I received the order the following business day there was not a receipt in the box. I called Ultra Medical they have the worst customer service. I inquired that I needed a receipt from them so I can get reimbursed from Medicaid. A receipt was sent to me in the amount of $80.00. Called them once again and they said the $80.00 is their profit. I am feeling that is unfair business practices they overcharged us and took advantage of the situation. I have called numerous times and get no response to my request to get an receipt for the amount of $160.00Desired Settlement: What I would like is a receipt in the amount of $160.00. Their is some shadey business going on... someone pocketed that other $80.00

Review: Purchased a transfer bench which was delivered on 4/**/15 in the amount of $55.00 cod paid by check.. this item was not correct and was picked up by their own driver and exchanged for a shower chair.neither item worked well for me. Both items were picked up and returned by their own driver.

I have been trying to get a refund of$55.00 since 4/**/15. They will not even talk to me on phone. I have called them at least ten times with no response . Keep being put on hold and someone will call back. They will not respond.Desired Settlement: Refund of $55.00

Review: Ultra Medical supplies was selected by a [redacted] study center that a Doctor prescribed for my to undergo for assessment. Upon completion of said study, I was diagnosed and was later contacted by the sleep study center that someone from Ultra Medical supply would contact me to issue the breathing apparatus. Prior to receiving the unit, there were no correspondence between myself and the supplier of insurance or billing. The only time insurance information was exchanged was at the beginning of the sleep study. Within two months after the study, I was then contacted by a representative that he was in the my neighborhood and said he was at another client and asked if it was alright for him to stop by to drop off the unit and show me how to use it, so I obliged him. He nor the supply company never went over any preliminary insurance screening with me in regard to payment nor method of payment to assess any insurance discrepancies. I was only instructed to use the unit every night or the unit would be taken back, so I followed their instruction for about three to for months, only to be informed through a bill(acct. # [redacted])three to four months later, that my insurance was not in their network. I immediately contacted their billing dept. and was told that it was now my responsibly to pay the bill. I in turn, told them that I didn't like their unethical practice and wanted them to pick back up the unit. They then told me that I couldn't return the unit until I got the doctor to write a discontinuation prescription, which I had the doctor expedite. The unit was then picked up and they continued billing me with threats of late charges and collection. I finally contacted my insurance company [redacted] (ID #[redacted]) about this issue and they informed me that the charges that the supplier was requesting was not for the unit , but for the amount of time that I used it. So I took out a grievance case against them with my insurance company. I'm at my wits end with this company and need some advise on what legal recourse that I have.Desired Settlement: zero balance for their unethical business practice in not doing an appropriate preliminary insurance screening.

Patient's insurance covered at 90% for out of network Provider. We have written off the 10% not covered as an in network Provider. Our apologies for the misconception on what transpired with the billing dept. and the late fees.
