[redacted] was issued on March 17, 1982 as a Whole Life policy insuring [redacted].  [redacted] was a named beneficiary.  At the time of the death of [redacted] was a minor and could not receive the policy's benefits.  The Company asked for a copy of the court-issued Guardianship papers; however, no guardianship documents were ever received.  On May 28, 2017, [redacted] turned age 18 and was then legally entitled to the policy proceeds.  The Company received a Claimant's Statement signed by [redacted] on June 9, 2017 and issued Check number [redacted] on June 20, 2017 payable to [redacted] for $2,000.If I can be of further assistance, please contact me at [redacted] extension [redacted].
