Unfortunately Ms [redacted] seems terribly confused about what she received from usOur solicitation is in no way a "scam" of any sortIt is an offer from our company, clearly stating that consumers have the option of renewing their domains with any registrar they'd like and asking if they are interested in transferring over to our company for their domain renewalThe letter is quite self explanatory as it reads:"When you switch today to Internet Domain Name Services you can take advantage of our best savings" "You must renew your domain name to obtain exclusive rights to it on the web, and now is the time to transfer and renew your name from your current registrar to Internet Domain Name Services." "Domain holders are not obligated to renew their domain with their current registrar or with Internet Domain Name ServicesReview our prices and decide for yourselfYou are under no obligation to pay the amounts stated unless you accept this offerThis notice is not a bill, it is rather an easy means of payment should you decide to switch your domain name registration to Internet Domain Name Services."We therefore feel this complaint was filed erroneously and contains blatantly informationCustomer RelationsIDNS Inc [redacted]

This customer has been refunded, there is nothing else we can offer themThey have a poor attitude and seem to want to harass our company for no reason. Some people are just beyond helping

Our letters clearly state the following: "When you switch today to Internet Domain Name Services you can take advantage of our best savings" "You must renew your domain name to obtain exclusive rights to it on the web, and now is the time to transfer and renew your name from your current registrar to Internet Domain Name Services." "Domain holders are not obligated to renew their domain with their current registrar or with Internet Domain Name ServicesReview our prices and decide for yourselfYou are under no obligation to pay the amounts stated unless you accept this offerThis notice is not a bill, it is rather an easy means of payment should you decide to switch your domain name registration to Internet Domain Name Services." We have never misrepresented ourselves at any point. This is merely a competitor who is attempting to use the Revdex.com to smear the reputation of any competition the may encounter. It is a preposterous complaint founded in pure fantasy. We consider this matter closedIDNS Inc

This customer contacted us and was entirely rude and inappropriate, insulting our customer service representative who was simply trying to help them rectify THEIR errorWe offer full refunds, and as advised on the phone the customer must email us in writing in order to request a refund IDNS Inc

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: It is obvious this guy is consistent with receiving complaints since he cannot remember the number of people he is probably being rude too For one I am not a woman, and as far as having a simple process for refunds it is not even close to how he describe in his rebuttal This guy who refuse to disclose his name literally force in order to process my refund I had to read him the soliciting letter that came in the mail This guy literally told me that he will not process my refund until I read the letter to him, as he quote to me that I must not be competent enough to understand the difference between renewal versus transferring of domain name It is also weird in his rebuttal he consistent in using the terminology of "we" when he clearly seem to be a one man shop He would not provide me his name, his agent number, or even transfer my call to a member of management or colleague for that matter He was very rude about when I suppose to have receive my refund which I have not received yet, but I file a claim with my bank and was told to give it business day Today is day Regards, [redacted] ***

What we have sent is a solicitation clearly asking domain owners if they are interested in renewing their domain services with our company by transferring over to us for the renewal. The letter clearly states the following:"When you switch today to Internet Domain Name Services you can take advantage of our best savings" "You must renew your domain name to obtain exclusive rights to it on the web, and now is the time to transfer and renew your name from your current registrar to Internet Domain Name Services." "Domain holders are not obligated to renew their domain with their current registrar or with Internet Domain Name ServicesReview our prices and decide for yourselfYou are under no obligation to pay the amounts stated unless you accept this offerThis notice is not a bill, it is rather an easy means of payment should you decide to switch your domain name registration to Internet Domain Name Services."This clustomer made a mistake and we are happy to iseu him a refund, refunds take to weeks to be processed, he called us less than weeks after he requested his refund and we told him that his refund is scheduled to be processed within the time frame statedNo one hung up on him, therefore we find his accusations spurious and fradulentCustomer Relations [redacted]

This customer was not scammed in any way, they received our offer to transfer to us which clearly stated:"When you switch today to Internet Domain Name Services you can take advantage of our best savings" "You must renew your domain name to obtain exclusive rights to it on the web, and now is the time to transfer and renew your name from your current registrar to Internet Domain Name Services." "Domain holders are not obligated to renew their domain with their current registrar or with Internet Domain Name ServicesReview our prices and decide for yourselfYou are under no obligation to pay the amounts stated unless you accept this offerThis notice is not a bill, it is rather an easy means of payment should you decide to switch your domain name registration to Internet Domain Name Services." If they made a mistake and would like a refund for their error we are happy to oblige, however they have not made any attempt to even contact us for a refundIDNS IncConsumer Relations

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:A copy of the notice I received from IDNS is attachedWhile the language on the notice does include disclaimers, such as "This is not a bill." The calls to action, "Domain Name Expiration Notice," "You must renew your domain name..." are far more prominent in the textThe notice appears in every way to be a bill despite the disclaimer in the 3rd paragraphI frequently receive direct mail ads urging me to switch my cable providerThey do not look like invoicesThey look like advertisingThe mail from IDNS looks like an invoice, and the practice is well documented on the Internet as Domain Slamming.Domain slamming (also known as unauthorized transfers or domain name registration scams) is a scam in which the offending domain name registrar attempts to trick domain owners into switching from their existing registrar to theirs, under the pretense that the customer is simply renewing their subscription to their current register( [redacted] , accessed 10/20/2016)More information is available here: [redacted] aka [redacted] Internet Services was suspended by ICANN in for this very activity, domain slamming and deceptive practicesIDNS is most likely a subsidiary of [redacted] In light of the above information, I will not retract my complaintHowever, I will retract my statement that IDNS listed a renewal dateI contacted Verio and, indeed, Verio made a mistake on my accountMy domain name does renew in Feb Regards, [redacted] ***

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:Yes, while 'I' have come to understand and recognize exactly what your tactics are now, the people that you are targeting with these letters are people who are unfamiliar with the registration processI know a number of other business owners who have registered their own domain names and upon receiving your letter expressed confusion and misunderstandingThat's why I finally took some action to file a complaintIt is evident that the average recipient is being misleadIt's not a coincidenceIf your desire is to run a respectable business, I would think that you would be concerned that potential customers are confused and feel mistrust for your marketingThe fact that people are confused, that you are being informed of that confusion and your only response is to continue to pursue and defend the same tactics, makes it pretty clear that this effort is intentional and is the reason why I am not satisfied with your responseWhen you present people with person details about their registration information, not everyone is aware that this information is publicly available to anyoneYou try to gain credibility by stating these things with the hope that people will assume you have something to do with their current registrationOnce people have all the facts it is obviously that you are phishingThe fact that the letter is cleverly written so that you include key phrases to try and indemnify yourself from any wrong doing in a legal sense, doesn't change the fact that they are placed between statements designed to make it seem like something is wrong, when it is in fact a part of the domain renewal process, you are intentionally deceiving peopleIf that's how you choose to do business then it should be no surprise to you when you get complaintsI hope more people come forward to put pressure on businesses like yours to act in a more transparent and honest way

Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Unfortunately, I do believe this is a scam Regardless, I was verbally abused by a company representative who would not even let me speak long enough to make a request I will only speak with the company again if I am assured that I will speak with a different individual who can be civil Regards, [redacted]

This customer has contacted us for a refund and one will be issued as per our refund policyIDNS Inc

What we have sent is a solicitation clearly asking domain owners if they are interested in renewing their domain services with our company by transferring over to us for the renewalThe letter clearly states in point

What IDNS sent this customer was an offer to transfer to our company for their domain renewal, it said exactly thatIf they did not read it or made a mistake not a problem, we have a full refund policy, all they need to do is contact us for a refund which they have not done yet[redacted] [redacted]

As this complainant fully admits, they received an offer from our company asking if they would like to switch to our company for their domain renewal, they state "they did not pay attention" to what they were doing, so please then explain how they go on to call us a "mail fraud"? Our offer clearly states: "When you switch today to Internet Domain Name Services you can take advantage of our best savings" "You must renew your domain name to obtain exclusive rights to it on the web, and now is the time to transfer and renew your name from your current registrar to Internet Domain Name Services." "Domain holders are not obligated to renew their domain with their current registrar or with Internet Domain Name ServicesReview our prices and decide for yourselfYou are under no obligation to pay the amounts stated unless you accept this offerThis notice is not a bill, it is rather an easy means of payment should you decide to switch your domain name registration to Internet Domain Name Services." Since they themselves admit they did not pay attention this complaint is totally invalidThey are more than welcome to contact us about getting a refund, however they have yet to do soWhen they do we will happily work with them to rectify their errorIDNS IncConsumer Relations

Our advertisements are in no way misleading whatsoever, they clearly state: "When you switch today to Internet Domain Name Services you can take advantage of our best savings" "You must renew your domain name to obtain exclusive rights to it on the web, and now is the time to transfer and renew your name from your current registrar to Internet Domain Name Services." "Domain holders are not obligated to renew their domain with their current registrar or with Internet Domain Name ServicesReview our prices and decide for yourselfYou are under no obligation to pay the amounts stated unless you accept this offerThis notice is not a bill, it is rather an easy means of payment should you decide to switch your domain name registration to Internet Domain Name Services." This person called our company with an arrogant and aggressive attitude, making accusations against us and would not stop to listen even for a secondThey were rude and belligerent to our customer service rep, and we stick by our assertion that we do not want this type of horrendous individual as our customerIDNS Inc

At IDNS we offer a full refund policy, this customer called with a belligerent and abusive attitude when first contacting our company, she would not comply with the simple refund procedure of providing her name and confirming the check numberShe became argumentative for no reason and ultimately disconnected the call herselfUpon calling back she changed her tone completely when speaking to the new representative and so of course we will happily issue a refund for the payment she made in errorCustomer Relations [redacted]

What this customer received was an offer from our company clearly stating it was an adverstisement to transfer and renew their domain name with our company by switching over from their current registrarThe letter read exactly as quoted below:"When you switch today to Internet Domain Name Services you can take advantage of our best savings" "You must renew your domain name to obtain exclusive rights to it on the web, and now is the time to transfer and renew your name from your current registrar to Internet Domain Name Services." "Domain holders are not obligated to renew their domain with their current registrar or with Internet Domain Name ServicesReview our prices and decide for yourselfYou are under no obligation to pay the amounts stated unless you accept this offerThis notice is not a bill, it is rather an easy means of payment should you decide to switch your domain name registration to Internet Domain Name Services."Aside from the offer being explicitly clear in it's intent we understand that sometimes people make mistakes and we do have a full refund policy in case of such a situationFor a refund of a credit card payment all we require is that the individual requesting the refund confirm the last digits of the card that was usedThis is for security and confirmation purposes, and is in no way unreasonable to ask for the person contacting us to confirm the card that the payment was made onEven if it is a company card, simply contact the individual within the company that submitted the payment to get the last digitsUnfortunately this customer decided that being belligerent on the phone and using rather foul language would be more helpful than simply confirming the card numberThey are more than welcome to contact us at any time for a full refund upon stating the last digits of the card usedThank youIDNS Customer Relations [redacted]

This customer's credit card was refunded on Feb 2nd, there is no disputing this factWe are unsure about what other issues this customer may be having with perhaps another company, maybe they are confusedRegardless we have returned their fee and our business with them has concludedAny further accusations and complaints will be viewed as harassment and dealt with accordingly
