Please be advised that this store has absolutely nothing to do with deliveries or  UPS  drivers.... the customer needs to contact the UPS facility at [redacted] or call [redacted].

Thank you I will be looking into this and will respond when my investigation is complete.

Highly recommend Robson Moving in London, Ontario. They recently rescued me from a very negative situation with another moving company. ( they didn't show up, call or e-mail ) Robson was pleasant, proficient and professional in every way. They responded quickly to my dilemma and offered emotional support as well. It was a totally positive experience and restored my faith in human kind. Thanks Robson's!!!!

On December 6th, a representative from Utility Partners of America visited the home at [redacted] Cir. [redacted], OH to...

review the work performed on the water heater. The homeowner advised the representative that a county official had disapproved the installation for the reason of a non-approved material used as the drain tube for the relief valve. No written inspection report citing the code sections violated was left at the premises by the inspector; as required by state code, also no written inspection report was sent to Utility Partners of America. Without a written inspection report a proper appeal to the Building Official could not be filed.
The representative from Utility Partners found that the drain tube used was a ¾ inch model produced by [redacted] Corporation which is a listed and approved material that complies with ASME A112.4.1-2009. As the product carries the proper listing, it complies with the requirements of section 504.6 of the current Ohio Plumbing Code. The certificate of listing was sent by email to the customer, who acknowledged receipt.

Utility Partners of America had previously attempted to supply this information to the [redacted] County Building Department but had not received any response. On December 14th 2016 this certificate was again sent to [redacted] County, and on December 15th [redacted] the new Acting Building Chief for the [redacted] County Building Department acknowledged receipt of the documentation, and agreed that part in question is acceptable, and will have the inspector go back out and re-inspect, to get this finalized.

After review on this issue, we discovered in talking to the contractor that was physically at the home that there was an error in billing. They were at the home for a warranty plan claim, and found that...

the actual issue was not covered by the plan. The customer was aware that they would have to pay some out of pocket expense for the actual repair, but they had been assured that UPA (Utility Partners of America) would be responsible for the service fee for the trip to the home for the assessment. The customer was actually billed the entire amount, and when questioned by UPA, the contractor advised there was no trip charge or service fee, only the cost of the actual repair. In a follow-up conversation with the main office manager for the contractor however, it was determined that the amount of $ 139.10 of the total billed to the customer was indeed a service call fee. They have agreed to refund the amount of that fee, $ 139.10 back to Ms. S[redacted], and re-invoice that amount directly to UPA for payment. Ms. S[redacted] has been contacted by our office and advised of the update, and provided the information for the contact at Roto- Rooter, the contractor that performed the service at the home for her. She will now only be responsible for the remaining amount of repair which is $ 77.20, so this issue has been resolved for Ms. S[redacted], and she has been notified with all of the updated information regarding payment.

Review: I am filing a formal complaint against the UPS Customer Center at [redacted] Maryland [redacted]. Ive had problems with this UPS center in the past where they would not leave packages at my home, an single family home, and had no explanation other than I should sign up for UPS My Choice, which cost additional money on top of the shipping charges already paid. Once I paid the UPS My Choice fee and authorized UPS to leave shipments at my front door, the problems stopped. This was about 1.5 - 2 years ago. Recently, the problems started again. Expecting packages on July 16, I checked the tracking status on line and UPSs system indicated that a signature was required (something they required, not the shipper of the product). I took off work and UPS never arrived. At 5:15pm on July 16, 2014 the status on UPSs website suddenly changed to The receiver requested this package to be held for pickup at the UPS facility. I never requested this, this was UPSs changing their system unilaterally. Frustrated, I called the UPS main number ###-###-####, they said that they could not help me that this was a local issue with the UPS Customer Center at [redacted], Maryland [redacted] and hung up on me. On July 17, 2014, I went to the UPS Customer Service Center to pick up my packages and asked the service rep why they were holding my packages. He did not know and called his supervisor Debbie (he did not know her last name). He relayed a message from Debbie that there was a security hold on my address and that was all he could tell me. I asked to speak to Debbie and was told I could not. I signed for my packages and left the UPS Customer Service Center. Still frustrated I called the UPS main number ###-###-#### and asked for an explanation of the security hold. I was told that someone at my address threatened a driver. I asked whom I could speak to about this false allegation and the customer service rep said no one. I said since someone at my address was being falsely accused of threatening a driver I wanted to know the facts and demanded that someone call me. The customer service rep committed that someone from the local UPS Customer Service Center would call me before close of business today, July 17, 2014. Its 7:27 pm and no one has called.Desired Settlement: I am demanding that someone from UPS that has the details of these allegations call me to discuss. No one at my home while I have lived there has threatened a UPS driver, this allegation is false and UPS needs to prove otherwise and take whatever security hold on my address off. I find it suspicious that when I pay the additional fee for UPS My Choice there are no problems and will notify the Maryland Attorney General of the suspicious activity.
