United Recovery Solutions Reviews (31)

After going through a rough divorce, I completely forgot about payments for my daughters violin. URS was very understanding and professional. I was able to easily get this matter resolved before it negatively effected my credit.

United Recovery Solutions made several attempts to get this consumer a receipt by mail, email, fax and ultimately in person on 9-3-15.  This consumer has repeatedly said that his goal was to get this past due account completely removed from his credit by disputing. We had no bad calls or...

conversations with this customer, he settled his bill in full with our office and the original creditor has been informed and updated their records. The customer received a receipt from our office in person on 9-3-15.

The information the company is claiming is incorrect. I did verify my identity, 3 times. It's not my fault that the person on the line has an issue with transgender names. Also, I was not the one who started cursing, it was the male who refused to accept the fact that my name could be male or female. Yes, I did terminate the call after repeated attempts to speak to this person and him shouting over me. I do want to point out though, with all of the information he was yelling, if he were not able to "verify" identity, isn't that a federal offense when it comes to collection laws? I mean he did disclose personal private information in regards to my credit report and the account being collected. I was also contacted a second time that same day, thankfully with cell phones being what they are, I have proof. According to Federal Collection laws, they are only allowed to call 1 time a day if they make contact and they did, so they are now harrassing me. I've kept all calls coming from them. I am also recording all calls from them.

This company has the most unprofessional management. I was trying to set up a payment plan and informed him that my husband was on disability. He proceed to ask personal financial questions. Which I felt akward answering. But this man just went on and on and I finally said I will pay $50.00 a month. He started getting louder and louder about my financial situation and that he did not feel sorry for my about my husband being on disability. Believe me I was not looking for some symthy. As the conversation went on with him doing most of the talking I decided to just hang up. Within 5 minutes I got a call on my phone and I said Hello and the gentle said to me YOU BETTER LOOK AT YOURSELF IN THE MIRROR, as soon as I heard that I hung up. I'm will to make payments on what I owe. But he was unwilling to set me up, he told me that I had to have the full amount paid by Friday 3-20-15. Very Rude and to top it off he was the MANAGER.

To Whom it may concern,
Our office spoke to [redacted] and his wife in regards to the account placed in our office. Both he and his wife were extremely rude and talked over both individuals at our office.
We tried to negotiate the balance due and were unable to discuss as both [redacted]...

and his wife talked over both of us.
[redacted] made the comment about his job that he makes crap (he used foul language when describing this) money because he is a teacher.
At no point were we able to try to set up arrangements to help either caller because they were both irate and talking over us.
Mutual respect goes both ways, we are willing to work with them to get this account resolved, but we are not willing to be abused over the phone by [redacted] or his wife.
All employees at this corporation are trained in collections and on the FDCPA. This firm is a collections firm, not a customer service firm.
This matter is resolved.

Although I do accept the bussiness response, I still believe [redacted] to be inappropriate and unprofessional but I am thankful I will no longer receive any call from him.

We will make no further phone calls to this individual.

My complaint was how I personally was treated.  Nowhere is this response do they acknowledge speaking to me prior to my husband ([redacted]) calling back.  They were threatening and abusive to me and my husband did try to set up an agreement with them and the man became upset when my husband said he would give them the card number as long as they would not charge it until the 29th like was previously agreed on.  The man hung up on him after threatening to repo the drum and putting a mark on my husbands credit.
