I contacted Waterstone Mortgage Corporation during the month of December in Like any other mortgage company would, they asked for documents and information that they would use to qualify for a cash-out refinance mortgageAfter Waterstone thoroughly went through our information, we received a conditional loan approval on April 20th After receiving a conditional loan approval contingent on the appraised value on the home, Waterstone ordered an appraisal which cost $and I had to pay out of pocket After the appraisal report cleared on April 25th with information that would allow the loan to be processed, Waterstone set a closing dateThe week of closing, we were contacted by Waterstone and notified that one of the loan processors that was reviewing our information and our files skipped over information that would not have let us qualify for the cash-out refinance mortgage This, I was told, was something that should have been noted before the conditional l

I underwent a contract on March 2, to purchase my first home with a close date of April 29, Prior to this I obtained a pre approval letter from Waterstone MortgageWithin the first two weeks or so of the process I heard minimal word of what exactly was going on with my loan applicationIn the meantime I paid and obtained a full home inspection as well as paid for and obtained an appraisalNine days (two of which were weekend days) prior to the April 29th close my lender got with me explaining a long list of conditions that need to met prior to obtaining a clear to closeWith the worry that I may loose this house, I scrambled together to ensure everything would be completed in a timely manner to closeAlthough I had provided all necessary documents I was still unable to close on April 29th At this point, the seller extended the contract with a close date of May 9thOnce again a few days went by with little wordKeep in mind that I call my lender on a daily basis for

How Waterstone can have an A rating and yet have such negative feedback sure makes me question the validity if the Revdex.comI am reading complaint after complaint about how Waterstone has pushed back closing dates on their clients, and myself included, and blaming it in the clients themselves sure does beg to question their practicesI not only had to pay much more in closing costs, and but to have my loan sold to another company before I even made my first paymentThis other company, Freedom Mortgage, has been a thorn in my side since day one, and recently took from me a double payment out of my account twice! It is now day of continuous phone calls and emails trying to get my money backOf course they can't seem to locate my account to pay my money backIt's the same [redacted] account they stole it fromI am furious, and and warn everyone to stay away from Waterstone and Freedom Mortgage and save yourself from the horror I have endured over the past 8-months!

I was shopping around for lenders for a conventional mortgage loanI did end up finding a more competitive interest rate with a credit union and after letting Waterstone Mortgage know of my decision (nothing had been formally signed with them), I was harassed and sent an extremely degrading and unprofessional emailBarry B [redacted] (The mortgage advisor that had been assisting me) even called the listing agent to try and sabotage my purchase on the home! I do have the email on handHorrible way to treat a customer and extremely unprofessional

I had such a great experience w Waterstone MortgageNate M*** provides excellent customer service and explains things clearly and concisely

My husband and I used Waterstone Mortgage Corporation when we purchased our home in late Waterstone was suggested by our realtor, so we decided to go with Waterstone despite our reservationsOur first encounter with Waterstone was when a representative called me to touch base on pre-approval for our loanI was completely confused because the man did not let me know that he had gotten my information from the realtorThen, we started working with another representative from the company who did not respond to our questions in a timely mannerThey seemed very rudeWhen we came in to sign off on our loan, we were met in a hasty manner that seemed to say "I don't have time for small loans like yours." After closing on our home, our loan was sold to another company within the first monthCome to find out, four months after closing on our home, the Waterstone did not submit the correct amount for our homeowners insurance premiumOf course, this caused a headache months after we thought we were done with them

This company treats there clients like a numberIt is all about quantity not qualityTheir customer service is horribleThey do not answer or return any callsThey gave me wrong information, and lied about the determining factors on a mortgage approvalI would never recommend this bank to anyoneThey will try to get you into a mortgage and turn around and sell it and make additional moneyThey are not a company thats works for you or with you their main goal is to get you a mortgage so they can make money selling it

By far the worst customer experience I have ever hadI was working with Kelly, the loan originatorI don't even know where to begin with how horrible this experience has been for meWhen I started speaking with her about buying a home in September, I was told to pay off debts in collections, which I did and provided the proof that they were paidFast forward to the home search! I found a home I loved, so my realtor contacted Kelly and asked her to run the numbers, she never contacted him backThis is a trend with this company, ZERO communication, and when it was present, it was lackluster at bestKelly told me I would qualify for a conventional loan, with no MIPI was very clear on the amount of money that I had to put down, she told me she could work with itMind you, the credit score for the above mentioned program is a minimum mid score of Come to find out, my credit score was no where near that! What made her think this was a feasible option for me? My loan was due, per the purchase contract, 3/In classic Kelly fashion, she waited until 3/to DECLINE the loanThe reason? "Too many debts in collections" Wait a minute, you pulled the report in September, and told me to take care of 2! You have pulled my credit numerous times since then, and didn't think to say anything?! Not only does this company not communicate with their customers, but they do not communicate with each other! Kelly, the originator, failed to tell the loan processor about the program we were trying to obtainThus, having the processor contact me and tell me that I am a couple thousand dollars short for what I need to bring to closingTalk about a heart attack! As the borrower, I had to reach out to these "professionals" numerous times for updates, and boy do they drag their feetZERO sense of urgency at allThis company clearly employs in-experienced individuals, who are not qualified to assist anyone with the largest purchase people make in their livesDue to their negligence and lack of professionalism, I am out some money- but most importantly, I am out the home I was looking forward to building a life inThere are plenty of mortgage companies and brokers out thereSave yourself the heartache and insanity that comes with working with these "mortgage professionals" You'll be mislead, kept in the dark, and taken for a long, unnecessary rideSTAY AWAY

Warning this company lacks professionalism, would not recommend!!! customer service, phone call not being returned, owner would not answer calls, took months and still no answer on my loan, ask for ridiculous documentation after firing them I receive my loan within days and closed within a month.please check other complaints on this business, please Mike do not respond to my complaint would never responded to phone calls !!and really have not time for you!!!
