Honestly, I wouldn't even give them Star, as there is nothing good to say We signed with them on 3/7/to have bathrooms remodeled We had to put 1/down on the job that day The contract stated the work should be done around June I understand this is estimated; however, today is 8/22/ I have made payments on a loan for which nothing has been done No-one has been out for a final measureAfter months of waiting, we finally got the plans for the bathroom cabinets This came only after a 4th trip to the business to raise stinkThe owner, VP of Sales, and the project manager met with us that day on our "totally unexpected visit" to them They said they dropped the ball and could we give them another chance to make it rightThey stated they would get someone out within weeks to get one of them completedAgain, this did not happenNumerous unanswered emails, phone calls, and trips to this business have gotten us nowhere We requested cancellation numerous times over the summer Only after a 5th trip to the business on 7/by a very angry husband, did we ever get an option to cancel, as they emailed me right after he left stating if we wanted to cancel to send a separate email requesting that, to which they said they would "review"It took weeks to "review" Again, no emails or phone calls answered when I tried to check on statusI had emailed them the morning of 8/stating our attorney said to give them until noon that day to respond, or they would be hearing from her I received an email back at 12:on 8/17, stating the cancellation was approved and they would request a check that day I asked for the amount the check would be, as I provided them with copies of the checks I wrote to them, along with proof of the interest on the loan They responded saying they would have to check on the amount and they would get back to me on Monday 8/ Again, no answered emails, as I have sent again During the sale, I was asked by the project manager to give feedback of the company/job, good or bad Well I am giving feedback on a job that never happened, so this would be bad feedback As far as I can see, this company is a scam We would like cancellation and refund of payments made plus interest on the loan We need this work done, and will now have to find alternate plans We can't do that until we have our money back Our attorney is waiting to start the process again, should we not hear back this week We don't want to promote or give business to a place that lies and gives promises

*** and *** went above and beyond to get our roof repaired after an awful hailstorm

The workers were friendly & efficientThey improved the flow of downspouts by rearranging the flow away from neighbor's property.Sales were very helpful to learn what all was needed

Great communication, and completed our projects within a timely & professional mannerOverall, we fell in love with the staff, company, and productsThank you Universal

Booked an appointment at the home showTuesday, 4/11/Told we would get a *** *** card if we listened to what they had to offer What we wanted was not something they could doTold when salesman *** left our gift card would come in the mailI have sent email twice to company, and heard nothingWe took time out of our busy schedule, and feel they should stand behind their home show at century link promise

In mid-July I contracted to have my bathroom totally remodeled
Work was suppose to start September 5th but didn't actually start till October 23rddue to getting a shower surround from their manufacturer
I hear a litany of reasons why there were problems from the project manager
On the day demolition was carried out , the junk wasn't haul away, it was put in my garbage cans to be picked up by the city
My old toilet bowl sat in my kitchen for two weeks, very unhealthy
When job was finally complete November 10th, the house siding was not put in after window was removed nor was it even ordered, poor job by project manager , he had over months to order it
After writing a not so good review on their *** page the problem was quickly resolved, I will give them credit for that
My new bathroom sink is very slow to drain, I hired a plumber to fix that
Lack of communications during the and half month project was typical
The project management was very sub par
I asked for compensation which a good company would have made amends but it fell on deaf ears at Universal
I was billed the last segment of the project with their finance company days before the bathroom was done
Over all I cannot recommend them to any one

I was very, very pleased with the work that Universal did. [redacted] was very particular and made sure that everything fitted properly. Made sure the tile matched everything beautifully and we even decided together what color the grout would be. The communication was great. I'd give Universal Renovations an A+ ! The installer installed 9 windows in our 100 year old house, including one that was fairly difficult due to settling in 3 hours. He was very professional and friendly. The windows fit great and we can already tell the difference inside. The only thing that could use a little improvement is communication between the office and the customer as we had to call several times to get information as to when the installer would be at the house. Overall, a very good company to do business with and we will be having them do more work on our house in the future.
