University Area Housing

Trust me, do not waste your time and money on University Area Housing. The apartments are old and riddled with problems and their policies are stifling. When you first get the keys the apartment will be nasty. I ended up finding mold in the refrigerator when I first moved in even though they said it was cleaned. As a college student signing up for a yearlong lease is a money trap. I got less than a tenth of my security deposit back due to my utilities being higher than what I was paying for escrow. It was crazy to see that I had a huge water and sewer bill for March – May when I wasn’t even living in my apartment during that time and I was trying to get a subleaser. They will cheat you out of your money, it’s just a matter of how they do it.
