The man that called my said he was an attorney that worked for that companyHis name is Rob D [redacted] and his telephone number is [redacted]

We are investigating these allegations, all employees have been trained on the proper communication protocol for third party debt collectionsIn addition we are ceasing collection activities at URS and moving into a back office support and service modeThis move may be permanent depending on our findingsConsumer will no longer be contacted and we will provide him with a paid in full letter for his records

We have reached out to the consumer to resolve this disputeASG will accept the payments made on this account as "payment in full" and report to the creditor as such Additionally we are investigating the allegation reported in this complaintAny employee found in violation of CFPB, FDCPA, and or acting in an unprofessional manner will be terminatedPlease let us know if this is acceptable or if you wish to discuss further

I have spoken to [redacted] and explaine URS's role in this process as a payment processor. We have agreed to refund 1/2 of her total payments and have directed her to the Collection Agency that is responsible for the calls and collection efforts. That company has changed its name and we no... longer do business with them. The new name is [redacted] [redacted] *** [redacted] *** [redacted] We will continue to assist Mrs [redacted] in her efforts to resolve this with the right company and Mrs. [redacted] agreed to respond to this as "satisfied" Thank You.

We are currently investigating these claimsAny and all disciplinary action will take place including termination of any employee that uses these tactics. Please inform the consumer we will issue her a paid in full letter and will not contact her about this account

Response taken by phone: We process credit cards for our clients We have been contact with our client (a different business) they are opening an investigation They will close this account and the consumer will not be contacted by the business in the future
