additional cost depending on the level of training.  As listed in the terms of participation, www.ustaxlienassociation.com/terms-of-participation, the products sold by US Tax Lien Association are purely educational.  The education and information included in the Programs are intended for a general audience and do not purport to be, nor should it be construed as, specific advice tailored to any individual.[redacted] also attended a three day training workshop training May 13 – 15, 2015 which was included in the purchase of the Home Study Course.The contract, which is attached to this complaint response, has a cancellation policy listed on the front and back.  The cancellation policy on the contract clearly states, “I understand that I may cancel this transaction without penalty at any time prior to midnight of the third business day after the date of this transaction.”There were a number of communications with [redacted] regarding coaching, conversations with a potential investor, and a specific request regarding a question about assignment deed in Maricopa County.  All of these requests are outside of the Member Support framework as they are individualized and referred back to the materials.  No communication was recorded regarding dissatisfaction with service.  Member Support is in place as a guidance of the materials and support success.In response to the request for a refund:The contract was fulfilled and services were rendered.  [redacted] received the materials as indicated on the contract and has also attended an additional 3-day training course.  The contract clearly states a 3-business day cancellation of which the request to cancel on 5/8/15 to the Revdex.com is outside of the time frame and in no way follows the cancellation procedure outlined on the contract.The purchase is subject to the terms of participation and other disclaimers set forth at: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: US Tax Line Academy told all their students at the seminar  ( March 12th ~Mar14th) at the hotel near LAX, the owner of this business [redacted] told all students who attended that three days seminar that he will refund the money if you quit, because in the past there is only one person who quit that person past away. In the United State, verbal promise is legal. 
In fact during I was waiting for the response from this business, I did so much research including contacting other tax sale organization, experienced professional tax sale broker, even me and my husband drove 4000 mile from Los Angeles to Chicago, Chicago to Arizona to confirm that 95 percent of property will be redeemed, I am confirmed with county that you do not make any money investing in tax line. 
Their sales point is investing tax line create huge profit but the facts are not true at all. 
[redacted] also promised students to send information by PDF which is about retirement account and how to create one million dollars within one year but they never keep their promise even I asked the customer service many times, all they do is transfer to the sales manage to sell such expensive coaching service. I would like insist to say that home study package is included the LIFE TIME CUSTOMER SERVICE (We are told at the firs time seminar at the hotel in Long Beach ) but how come they can not answer questions that students have ( they suppose to answer questions from the students in regards to the products ), yes on the receipt, says that three days money guarantee but as I said [redacted] promise students that they will refund money if students quiet ( because they have such a big confidence what they teach ). 
Not everybody is rich, we spend money from our tax refund money which is extremely important for us to have a big dream in our life but this company take advantage from consumers, if they can not provide what they promise then why they have give empty promise ? We are entitle to receive life time customer service without paying expensive coaching ( $5000~$32000), if they told us in advance costs more money then consumer have a chance to think to purchase even the package. If they do not refund our money, we will bring them to the  court, we are facing hardship just because this business did not work out the way suppose to be, even we made our investor disappointed and lose our reputation. 
I would like them to be truthful, not seeking for their benefit, all students are looking for the better life and better future that is why they purchase the package and become their students.

I am rejecting this response because:I have made no false allegations and the attached documents prove they were originally going to settle for giving me nearly $7000 and when I didn't accept this is when they became beligerent and would no longer communicate to me accept to accuse me of making false allegations.  This is a clear indication of the company and how it is run.  If I were a man whom they have refunded money to then maybe they would have dealt with me but because I am a woman this is what they do end up in there last email saying now they won't refund anything and never even spoke with me.  I have now contacted my attorney and we will deal with this is the court room so it never happens again to another woman.

I will address each of Ms. [redacted] allegations in order:1) Throughout her training and fulfillment, USTLA has a documented history of working...

with the client to ensure her satisfaction regarding the quality of training. In addition, she had been offered the option of a partial refund for remaining services not utilized. Now that her training is nearly 100% fulfilled, she is requesting a full refund. USTLA has explained, in-depth, in writing that she is ineligible for a refund of any type at this point in her training. In short, USTLA has taken every reasonable measure at every stage of fulfillment to ensure Ms. [redacted]' satisfaction.2) Her one on one mentor has relinquished a transcript of phone records, both text and voice, during Ms. [redacted] training. An audit of these records has revealed that Ms. [redacted]' allegations of a disruptive phone call during her training could not have occurred. In addition, USTLA has procured a testimonial email sent by Ms. [redacted] after her training to her one on one mentor. This email is overwhelmingly positive and complimentary to the training that Ms. [redacted] received from her one on one mentor.3) The owner of the organization has exchanged multiple emails with Ms. [redacted]. This is an indisputable, documented fact. Additionally, many other employees, agents, and contractors have responded to Ms. [redacted]' inquiries both through email and phone calls. There is an extraordinary amount of communication that makes it clear Ms. [redacted]' concerns have never gone unaddressed. 4) Ms. [redacted] has been notified that any remaining aspects of fulfillment are available to her in accordance with USTLA's terms and conditions.5) We believe that Ms. [redacted] is truthful in her intent to pursue legal action and she has been provided an address for service to be conducted.If necessary, I can make myself available to the Revdex.com to elaborate on any point pertaining to this matter.

The privileges associated with this product commenced on 2/5/16. He requested a refund on March 8, 2016. His request for refund...

occurred 32 days after his purchase putting him outside the 30 period of eligibility. He did in fact pay the balance on on 2/8 however 30 days begins from the date of purchase, not final payment. I am rejecting this response because: I will rebutt all of the statements in order written. 1.  The only documented history of working with me during this time period is when their employee [redacted] screwed up our appointments 2 times.  Other than that I had no contact with anyone at the company.  The partial refund they offered when I asked for my money back was ridiculous and unacceptable.  I wanted to speak with them about meeting in the middle of what I wanted and what they offered but noone would speak to me.  The owners who wrote this rebuttal didn't even get involved until 2 weeks after my complaint and when I said they had given me no other alternative but to go to court since they wouldn't speak with me.  I only asked for a full refund when they wouldn't respond and then accused me of several things I did not do.  They have never taken any steps to make sure I was satisfied, how could they if they never spoke to me on the phone and never consulted me or spoke to me when they were supposedly doing their due diligence.  When we were taking the one on one training with Mr [redacted] he spoke to us about a client he had as well who was very dissatisffied with him and they gave that gentleman a refund.  YOu should ask how many people they have given refunds to and when.  I have text from the gentleman who signed us up stating he was quitting because he has had so many complaints from clients he signed up who are so unhappy with what this company says they are going to do and don't deliver.  I'd be happy to send that text to you if needed.  I believe he has already quit or was fired.2.  First of all I was accused by their other employee [redacted] of lying about what Mr [redacted] did in our second day of our one on one session when he made a phone call to an irate client.  They can say they got all the phone records but I don't believe them one bit.  They never turned them over to me and they got it wrong to what I said.  I didn't say he received a phone call I said he made a call after reading a text and said he had to call this irate client who wasn't his but there was noone else to do it so he stepped our of our session for approximaely 40 minutes to take care of this.  In their email to me they said they got all the incoming calls that he made and there is no way he could have done this.  I will be ascertaining all his records on his phone and I know the correct phone number he used.  This is another one of their ploys to try and make it look like I am not telling the truth, just another one of  their lies.3.  They are correct that I have communicated with [redacted], [redacted] (one of the owners) and the last email coming from their Operations Manager Jeremy Harris.  The only person I ever spoke to was [redacted] and the first email after that [redacted] told me in his email not to speak to any of his staff any longer and not one time has Tony or Jeremy ever spoke to me on the phone to try and resolve this, absolutely unprofessional coming from a business owner of a large company.4.  Why would I take any of the rest of the program when I have been told not to speak to any of their staff anymore, that is a complete contracdiction and absolutely insane.  Also, their biggest selling point on this program is the access to T[redacted] and [redacted] to do deals with and to learn from for a year.  How would I do that if he has told me not to speak to his staff or him anymore, yet they think I don't deserve any sort of refund.  Also you become a life long memeber is another selling point to have access to people on line for questions etc..  How am I going to get that if I was told not to speak to any staff memebers.  They can come back now and say we have changed our mind you can speak to staff but I have already been labeled so that aspect of the program is gone for me even if I wanted it which I dont because I don't want to do business with people who lie and promise one thing and then go back on those promises.5.  I wish I did not have to pursue legal matters with them but they have given me no alternative.  Even when they sent me their final email stating I would receive nothing, I offered even then to have a phone call with my lawyer with them to try and negotiate a settlement so we didn't have to go to court and they refused.  So you see they are the reason I have now been pushed into court, this was not what I wanted on my end.  I am a single mother and it will take more of my savings but I will not let this company do this to another person especially another woman.  I am available by phone or text or email anytime to answer any questions and to rebutt anything they have to say.

After doing some investigation, Mr. [redacted] information was received incorrectly when he purchased one of our products online. His last name was spelled "[redacted]" and was not searchable in our database until we realized this oversight. Our system does indicate that Mr. [redacted] left a voicemail after...

business hours on 2/7/17. However, the phone number provided was invalid when our representatives attempted to return his call. Mr. [redacted] will not be required to return product to us and will receive a full refund in consideration of his troubles. I spoke with Mr. [redacted] this evening to inform him that we would process a full refund of his purchase.

Review: I purchased " Home study tax lien investment course kits " in Feb, 2015 from this company, me and my husband were told that this package is including the life time customer service but the fact is every time we call and ask a question they transfer to the product manage who sell coaching and unlimited tax sale list $5000~$32000, they will not answer questions unless we pay more fees, if the customer service is included in the package, suppose the customer service has to answer questions in related to the package otherwise there is no meaning to offer the customer service, there are big information gap between books and actual seminar such as we were told that they will refund our money if you want to quit, the owner of this company [redacted] never say within 30 days. We also did not receive documents from [redacted] that he promised to send to all his students even we made request, if we call they just transfer to the product manager and she always say you have to purchase the package of $10,000.00 or $5,000.00 for coaching and unlimited lists, there is no way that we can receive a life time customer service. My and my husband went to several States to do investigation to make sure their information is correct but we found out that their information is incorrect especially the investor who purchase liens from the county, investor will receive a check from the county every month but only time investor receive a check from the county is the property is redeemed, in their investment bible yes it seems like the information is correct but [redacted] told students that investors will receive checks every month,he lies same as term of the refund.Desired Settlement: We were told that money back guarantee is within 30 days but as we mentioned above, [redacted] told students that if we quiet, we will refund the money, he never mentioned about the refund term, this is absolutely dirty trick. If they can not provide their service what they promise then consumer has a right to request refund, why pay $5000~$10,000.00 more to ask them to answer our question? We believe they should tell us upfront instead of tricking students, we would like to ask them to refund.

Review: I WAS TOLD AT THE FIRST MEETING I HAD 30 DAYS TO INSPECT AND PURCHASE THE PRODUCT AT WHICH TIME MY MONEY WOULD BE RETURNED IF I WAS NOT SATISFIED. I ADVISED THEM PRIOR TO THE 30 DAYS I WANTED MY MONEY BACK. THEY REFEREED ME TO A [redacted] WETHERBY WHO SAID SHE WOULD LOOK INTO IT AND RETURN MY $1495.00.I SENT BACK ALL THE MATERIAL REQUESTED PRIOR TO THE 30 DAYS. [redacted] did request a refund on 9/29/14. He spoke to a customer service representative, then was asked to submit an official email refund request, which he did. He was then sent instructions as to where to return his product, noting that no refund would be processed until the items were received in good condition. We receive an email once a week from our supply house that shows the returns they have received. I received this email on 10/13/14 from our supply house, which did show [redacted]'s returned item was received by them on 10/6/14. We reviewed the rest of [redacted]'s request to make sure everything was in order and he was put in the system to be processed. His credit card was refunded on 10/29/14 and he was sent a receipt for the transaction. The return may have taken longer than [redacted] wanted, but we have a process that takes some time and he was refunded within 30 days of his request.

Review: March 5 2015 I submitted an email request that I wanted to return the product and requested the address to return the product, which they require you to do. I got no reply so I mailed the item to the Sacramento CA address listed in the email confirmation I received back once I initially purchased the product. The address they have listed in the email is an address which the business is no longer located at. Once I checked the tracking on the package and saw it was being forwarded, I called the company to ask what is the address the package should have been returned to? The lady I spoke to gave me an address in Utah, which is even different from the address the package was finally delivered to in Roseville CA. Considering no one ever replied to my email (which the lady stated was replied to on March 9, but I never received a reply nor did she forward the email to me as I requested) I would like to have my refund submitted to me immediately, instead of waiting 2 weeks, it took the package 17 days to get to them due to the invalid address listed on their email.Desired Settlement: Refund immediately, instead of 2 weeks.

Order was placed 2/20/2015Online Sale: Tax Lien Investment with a payment plan and was shipped a AOA -Ms. [redacted] emailed a request to cancel and on 3/5/15 and on 3/9/15 the information with the address was sent to return the product at the warehouse located in Utah. US Tax Lien Association policy is as soon as we receive the product to the shipment house in good condition the refund is processed. Because she did not sent it to the appropriate address the refund was delayed. The refund was processed and applied on 4/8/2015 -$73.50 Payment refunded through gateway. The original Revdex.com complaint was sent to the wrong address and the first receipt was 5/11/15.

Review: I attended a well prepared presentation by [redacted] at the Waverly Hotel, Atlanta on Nov 13, 2015. I was impressed with the program presented by [redacted] and purchased the program. In this presentation [redacted] stressed the following when purchasing the program: • Full money refund if not satisfied with the program, no questions asked • With this information and the three day seminar, a student will be ready to purchase Tax Liens and Deeds. The presenter made it sound like this is all you need to get into this. • No direct reference was made that additional classes would be required beyond the program that was for sale by [redacted]. After taking the three day seminar, I find this dishonest, as there was a very hard sell to purchase “advanced” programs to actually succeed during the three day seminar. These "advanced" classes turned out to cost between $33,000 - $17,000. • The three day seminar would give hands on instructions how to do research. Especially, the 14 point step process would be reviewed in depth and provide necessary details to purchase Tax Liens. This will give the student full insights what and how to do research. Sad to say, the documentation and three day seminar did not meet my expectations and certainly not even close to the expectations provided by [redacted]'s seminar, where I paid $ 1,497 for documentation (provided at the time of payment) and right to attend the three day seminar. I contacted this company directly via e-mail on Dec 8, 2015 and they claim (e-mail from [redacted] Dec 9, 2015) that I had until the day of the first day of the training to request a refund. I cannot find this requirement for a refund stated anywhere in the documentation I have received.Desired Settlement: I respectfully ask for a full refund $ 1,497 for this course and seminar. I will return the provided course material upon settlement.
