Summers was called out to [redacted]’s home on April 4th for a washing machine backing up.  We cleared the clog, but notated that the wall needed to be cut out for a proper drain cleaning to be done.  We received a phone call about a water leak on April 5th and were told that no one...

would be available until after 1pm for us to come to the home.  We arrived and cut out the wall to replace the pipe that was leaking.  The water that was leaking was clean water for the washer. The laminate flooring in the laundry room was wet along with part of a carpeted closet of the master bath.  Summers called in a restoration company and dried the bit of carpet in the closet.  Understanding the frustration, we cleaned the carpeted area of the master closet, master bath, and master bedroom, also. The laundry room is connected to the kitchen with the same type of flooring.  So, we offered to replace the whole area… Laundry and Kitchen.   None of this was satisfactory to Mr [redacted].  He wanted all the flooring in his master bath and master bath closet replaced/upgraded with heated tile floors.  And, wanted tile in his laundry and kitchen area.  At this point, we offered to do the tear out of the laundry room, kitchen, and master bath. Along with paying for our portion of replacing comparable flooring and he could pay the difference for tile and heated floors.  Mr [redacted] met with Summers and [redacted] on several occasions.  The meetings were scheduled around Mr [redacted]’s schedule and were after 4pm and/or 5pm per his request.   On May 5th, Summers did opt to turn this claim over to our insurance due to the amount of work that Mr [redacted] felt that he was entitled.  According to the insurance, they attempted to contact Mr [redacted] on the 6th, 9th, and 10th.  They did speak with him on the 10th.  I, also, spoke to the insurance on the 10th and provided the documentation that I had.   Summers has not received a single phone call from Mr [redacted] since we turned the situation over to the insurance company.  In speaking with the insurance, they do not show any phone calls from Mr [redacted].  My understanding from insurance is that they offered him a settlement sometime around the 10th and Mr [redacted] had not responded.  Per insurance, they said they give people 30 days to respond.   After receiving this Revdex.com complaint, I reached out to the insurance and was given the information that I stated above. The insurance went ahead and reached out to Mr [redacted] who provided them with a different quote than the one provided to all parties by [redacted].  As of June 9th, our insurance paid out his whole quote in order to appease Mr [redacted].  Summers requested the quote the Mr [redacted] had provided due to the fact that the dollar amount was 3 - 4x the amount necessary to to redo his laundry room and kitchen.  Mr [redacted] turned in a quote that included redoing his laundry room and kitchen with tile, installing heated tile floors in his bathroom (where no actual damage occurred), and installing heated tile floors in a half bath on the other side of his house (where Summers never touched).  Mr [redacted], knowingly, committed insurance fraud and it has been turned over to the insurance company to deal with, again. Summers will not be doing business with Mr [redacted] in the future.

We spoke with Mr [redacted] on June 30th and we do see where we have rescheduled 2 visits since 2012.  The way that we run calls is that emergencies that priority…. No Heat, No Cool, Water Leaks, or No Water.  We understand that this can be and is an inconvenience when it happens.  Mr...

It took me 3 tries since the 4th of July to get my funds returned that I had originally submitted to them in February of 2016.  It was not until I contacted the Revdex.com that resolution finally occurred.  Additionally, in calling her/business financial institution inquiring as to whether or not the funds would clear, that individual advised me NOT to deposit those funds in my account, but to cash the funds there at her bank vs my bank, which is what I did.  So where this has been resolved and I have recovered my loss, it most definitely was not just a matter of days as she indicated, and that is why I do not accept the "response" made by the business.   Thank you for your assistance in helping me remedy this horrid situation,
