I contacted the clientComplainant did not call into the officeMeeting with Client is 05/06/at 1:30pm to resolve issue

Upon arrival to the site for smoke damage it was the homeowners choice to sign a repair agreement with us, nobody elseUSA did perform the cleaning at he residence and upon completion the homeowner asked us to leaseThe painting was completed by our sub-contractor and as far as the
cabinets, the homeowner removed his one cabinets and hired someone else not USA.USA did not remove the kitchen cabinets, the homeowner did, the homeowner did not have an agreement with USA to replace cabinets, he hired someone else because the replacement weren't covered by his insurance companyMr*** wanted new cabinets & hired outside USAAs far as not coming back, our Project Manager or technician's were alway on site, we were doing other units in the building as well. Use has made an offer with Mr*** for some cleaning that Mr*** claims wasn't completedWhen asked for receipts, Mr*** couldn't or wouldn't supply themMr***'s original estimate $12,and we offered $10,and Mr*** declined by stating he would only pay $5,200.00. Once we are paid in full the $10,USA will provide a final waiver of lien

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: you can clearly read on the work order from precision that they cleared the obstruction around ten feet inso usa did not clear anything in our systemit clearly states all of this on work order in description of work boxwe were also told by chris that if precision fixed problem he would refund us money, precision offered to talk to him while we had chris on phone he refused and hung up

We were called out by the homeowner for sewage back up, upon arrival it was determined the main were needed to be rodded outThe plumber began to rod the main sewer line, the plumber was out site for four hours rodding to clear the lineThis is the first time we have heard of any damage to
stairs or flooring which was not mentioned in the e-mail sent to the officeThe homeowner called another company which rodded again and advised the homeowner that a jetting was recommended, uncertain if they cleared anything since we rodded and cleared the issueThe homeowner signed our invoice which is attached along with the other companies invoiceTherefore, what the other company did was a "Band Aide" fix, which leads to believe the homeowner has other issues

We reached out to Mr*** regarding his complaintOur Project Manager spoke with him and agreed to give him a discounted price and offered to help him get his residence back together after his water lossWe have agreed to write an estimate for the customer and to work with him since his
homeowners insurance is not covering this loss

The Customer has been given a full refund

In response to the above complaint the customer failed to inform you that when we came out to their property on multiple occurrences there were leaks hidden underneath the floor. There was a different leak each time our technician came out and that is why will we not refund the money

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:The thought that I should pay anything for a job that was NEVER completed to a contractor is absolutely absurd.  First, the company tried to LIE and state that there were different leaks each time that he came out for the 6 times.  This is truly hurting their credibility which will surly help me in court.  Now, suddenly, there is an admission of fault and there is a refund being offered.  The company is fully aware that the plumber that came out never completed the job and this is the only reason why they would be willing to refund anything.I refuse to be scammed out of $1400 additional dollars.  When hiring a company to come out and complete a job, that is exactly what the payment is made for, completion.  When the plumber realized he was in over his head he should have had someone else come from the company OR decline the job so I can have someone who is qualified.  Rafael was very nice and I am sure he is a fine plumber in other situations, however, working with radiant heat lines is not something he was familiar with.  I do realize that he spent his time TRYING, however that is not my problem.  I paid for a completed job and did not receive it.  Unfortunately, the company is required to pay THIER employee for their time when they are unable to complete the required task.  This inability to complete the task should have been evident to Rafael very early as he kept asking us questions about how the system worked.  We had just bought the building so we had to even call the previous owner of the building (also a plumber) to ask.  Then, he still could not fix it on his own, so he made multiple phone calls to different people as well as had to have a friend come by to also help.  He did not know how to completely drain the water and therefore could not weld the pipe which led to the leak NEVER stopping. So, we will see you in court! Sincerely,
Elizabeth [redacted]

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 16, 2014/11/20) */
11/19/14
The clients insurance company determined the total cost of the job. The client paid $1,000.00 deductible to USA Water & Fire Restoration. All work was completed as per insurance estimate. Client offered us $2,000.00 to settle the...

bill so he could keep the additional insurance money for himself.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 18, 2014/11/20) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I want the full refund $1000. They commit a crime forged my signature to opt in the contract, and I never received the contract from company. Therefore the contract and work is invalid. Company did not do what they said at time of estimate, and I still haven't receive the contract from company. Work they did wasn't complete and not satisfy, basement wasn't completely clean, dry wall start molding. Company have no option to negotiate.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 20, 2014/11/25) */
If we did not complete the work then why would the insurance company pay him for the work that they saw was completed. If we had no contract then why would he pay the $1,000.00 deductible. In an effort to settle this and even though his insurance company already paid him for the work we completed, we asked what he thought would be fair. He said he wants to keep all the insurance money and a refund of his deductible and not pay us anything.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 22, 2014/12/04) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
We still negotiate for settlement.

09/09/16

We has severe rain on 09/09/2016 total 4.5 inches fell overnight. While asleep, the sump pump decided to take a vacation and stopped while we were sleeping.Well low and behold, get up at 6:am and no hot water. I open the hatch and found 3.5-4 feet of water in the crawl space (Concrete crawl space) Taking out the furnace and the hot water tank. Put a call in and USA Water And Fire Restoration were out here real quick. They called and stated they were en route. Arrived and surveyed the damage.

They knew exactly what to do. Out came the pump. Mind you, this looked like a swimming pool under the house and deep.It did take time to evacuate all the water. I'm not talking about a couple hundred of gallons either. This is a large crawl space. Finally got to a working level where they didn't need diving tanks. Got in and vacuumed the whole area like they were cleaning carpeting. Really cleaned the entire area and walls, Treated the entire area with the proper chemicals and dropped in all of their machines for dry time in the crawl.space. They disposed of all the damaged storage stuff down there with plastic sealed bags as needed. I have never experienced a problem like this with a flood in the crawl space. They carefully explained the process of what had to be done and they did it. My compliments to all involved and "Thank You"
Job well performed!!!. Now it's Insurance Co time...Would I use this company again?Without a doubt... Yes!! Very hard working individuals.

I called them to have water damage repaired. Very quick and prompt repair. They were in and out within 2 days. They also gave me the best quote in the area.

The customer stopped payment on the check and we have not pursued collection in good faith. Were very sorry for the inconvenience.

I would definitely recommend anyone who has fire or water damage in chicagoland area to call them. Very quick, courteous, and professional. All the employees that came to my house had very good work ethic, manners, and cleanliness.

USA in good faith with mail the customers check back to him.
