Initial Business Response /* (1000, 16, 2014/11/20) */
11/19/14
The clients insurance company determined the total cost of the job. The client paid $1,000.00 deductible to USA Water & Fire Restoration. All work was completed as per insurance estimate. Client offered us $2,000.00 to...

settle the bill so he could keep the additional insurance money for himself.
Initial Consumer Rebuttal /* (3000, 18, 2014/11/20) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I want the full refund $1000. They commit a crime forged my signature to opt in the contract, and I never received the contract from company. Therefore the contract and work is invalid. Company did not do what they said at time of estimate, and I still haven't receive the contract from company. Work they did wasn't complete and not satisfy, basement wasn't completely clean, dry wall start molding. Company have no option to negotiate.
Final Business Response /* (4000, 20, 2014/11/25) */
If we did not complete the work then why would the insurance company pay him for the work that they saw was completed. If we had no contract then why would he pay the $1,000.00 deductible. In an effort to settle this and even though his insurance company already paid him for the work we completed, we asked what he thought would be fair. He said he wants to keep all the insurance money and a refund of his deductible and not pay us anything.
Final Consumer Response /* (4200, 22, 2014/12/04) */
(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
We still negotiate for settlement.

We had a roof leak which damaged our dining room ceiling. USA was prompt in removing the drywall and mold and tarping the roof. We needed a new roof and they worked with the insurance company to ensure we got the best result. It happened right before Christmas so we were concerned about the holiday. Ron did a great job completing the project in a timely manner, so we could enjoy our holiday. At Christmas dinner, it looked like nothing has ever happened in the dining room.

We had an electrical fire in our house. They did a great job at fixing the wall. You can't even tell there was ever a fire.

We had a mold issue and were not sure what to do about it, The team at USA Fire and Water Restoration quickly and politely assessed the task and removed the mold from our basement and throughout our home. They did the job in a matter of days and were not noticeable, did not leave a mess, and made the basement look brand new again. Im happy I hired them and will hire them again in the future for all the services that they offer. Thank you!

We have received superior work from USA Water and Fire Restoration. Ronnie [redacted] project manager and his crew were excellent. Thanks to them our newly renovated basement was put back into pristine shape in no time. Ronnie kept on top of it and made sure the finishing touches were made. They protected the floors, carpet and furniture during the restoration.

Great experience. Fixed my flooded ranch and they worked with my insurance. Really easy. Thank you

USA Water and Fire did complete the mitigation for the homeowner, however the homeowner claims we did not spray anti-microbial which was removed from our estimate and credited back to the homeowner. As far as the repairs, the homeowner was under insured for water damage and there was never a signed...

nor agreed repair agreement price. However, a representative & contractor did meet  with the homeowner and offered to get the repairs underway and work throughout the weekend. The homeowner declined our services, asked for a final revised estimate which was e-mailed to her and stated she would hire her own contractor. On 8/15/16 we received a check for the final payment.

I had 9" inches of water in my finished basement...this company was out the next day pulling everything out..carpet, drywall, anything that was wet..had EVERYTHING out in one day..treated the basement. They put LARGE dehumd's & blowers throughout the entire basement, so I would not get any mold...
This company was wonderful...the crew were the nicest people to work with...
The work they did was great! They all did a beautiful job restoring my downstairs.
I recommend this company and I have recommended this company to my insurance company & my mortgage company.

They were very honest with me on everything....You will not regret the service you receive from this company and their employees

Although we do apologize for the sump pump failing, USA can replace another pump but there is a cost. We can not say whey the pump failed after 30 days but due to the heavy rains that we received the sump pumps were unable to keep up and were overworked. This at no way falls on USA's fault. I would...

be happy to send someone out to replace the sump pump, however there is a cost. We install [redacted] and that is what would be installed again. The manufacture has a 5 year warranty. I can not offer a refund for something that was not our negligence.
