With regard to [redacted] 's complaint, when he moved out he had move out charges, for final utilities and cleaning charges, that were applied to his account (please see attached exhibit) The existing $security deposit was used to cover a portion of those outstanding charges and there was a balance of $remaining on this account Mr [redacted] did pay those move-out charges in a timely manner Due to the fact that these monies were used to cover these outstanding charges, and due to the prompt payment of the outstanding balance, the $deposit was never due to be refunded In light of these afore mentioned facts, the complaint was rendered mute and to our knowledge, Mr [redacted] no longer has an outstanding issue with Vaseo Apartments Vaseo Apartments prides itself on excellent customer service and will work to resolve most situations if handled professionally

There was a clerical error when this move out was processed A "motion to amend judgment for clerical error" was submitted to the court on November 14th to remove Ms*** from the judgement We have tried to contact Ms*** but have not been able to make contact with her
Vaseo does not have any relationship with the credit bureau's to correct this This would have to be updated from the court system or by Ms*** directly by contacting the credit agencies to expedite the process We have provided the "motion to amend" documents to Ms*** to assist her in her request We would be happy to mail a hard copy as well. Please feel free to contact Vaseo at ###-###-#### with any further questions Thank you

The total owed from move out was originally $2,055.11. We did a settlement and payment plan set up for $1,450.  7 payments were made totaling $1,050. The agreement stated that missed payments would revert to original amount and be sent to collections. We emailed 5 times about late...

payments.  In addition, we sent  an email stating that if we do not receive a late payment the account will be sent to collections for the original amount owed. The last payment was made 12/9/16 and he was sent to collections on 2/8/17.

Below is the response for the complaint that [redacted] placed against our academy. I will remain professional in this matter. But, I have feelings about this person that I won't disclose at this time. I have been in the...

business of trucking for over 20 years. This person complaint was completely false. His statements given to you were completely incorrect. Out of over 150 students graduated from our academy, we have never had any complaints.

I am quite surprised at this candidates complaint. We bent over backwards to assist him to obtain his Class A CDL. When this student was enrolled into our class, we agreed to pick him up from his hotel and bring him to the class and return him to his hotel every day until his class was completed. He understood that the hotel costs was at his expense. We did not charge him for any transportation costs. When he was in class, he fell asleep while classes were being taught. He did that for 5 days. I have other students in that class that were witness to that. He had his permit already. He gained his permit from another state ( UTAH ) and changed it over to Wisconsin. While I was picking him up in the mornings to take him to class, he told me his whole life story. He changed his last name because of ( so he says ) people were taking his identity, stealing his wallet from his car. He says his last name was Holloway. I went along with his story.
I tried to instruct him with the State of Wisconsin's CMV booklet dated May 2015 along with logging and other materials pertaining to the trucking industry. He was reading material on the Internet and told me that I was wrong on what I was instructing. I asked him to stop reading that material because it is a broad view of the entire United States. It does not concentrate on Wisconsin. He refused to stop reading it. He felt that he knew everything about the trucking industry. As for his issue with HIV. We never knew he had HIV until he told us. HIPPA laws prevent us from asking any questions about his health issues. He never disclosed this information to Workforce Development nor our health care provider which performs the drug screens and DOT physicals. When I picked him up for class on the 20th of October, he was sneezing and coughing. I asked him, "Are you catching a cold?". He said "Maybe". I said to him, "You can't get sick because we are in a closed environment with the truck. Last year, a student had a cold and it took out the entire class including me. So, I said to him, I have some Lysol and hand sanitizer which I always keep on hand to try to protect myself and the class from catching any virus.. He took offense to that. I asked him "Why?" He never responded until after the class had ended. That's when he told me I did that to him because I was aware that he was HIV positive. Frankly, I was flabbergasted as I had no knowledge of his medical history as he provided his Fed Med card from a different state. He also provided us with a recent negative drug screen, so we were unaware of his status.
As far as his performance in class, he did not perform his pre-trip inspections properly, he could not back up and his turns were not accurate. He hit curbs and caused damage to the left front steer tire on the tractor in which I have to pay for. As far as his statement that I would like to take some students out and shoot them in the head????? Again, I am flabbergasted. None of my students nor myself would ever make a statement as such. It would not be tolerated in our Academy per our catalog. A statement of that nature would be immediate terms for dismissal and would be discriminatory and inflammatory.
In my opinion, this candidate should not be reimbursed for anything. He completed two weeks and two days of class. Per our policy, after 84 hours, there would be no refund. Also, this candidate hotel room and board was at his expense. The WIA program that he came thru , did not provide for any room and board, only tuition. Also, transportation was not included. I went the extra mile for this candidate by picking him up daily, which I didn't have to do. He is out to take advantage of anyone and anything he can.
I have never caused any of my students to issue complaints concerning our academy and the instruction.. I have 20 years of experience in the field and 18 of those years has been with a major trucking firm. I know how to work with people. I know how to instruct people. But, if someone has an agenda of deceit, I can't be responsible for that. I do have another student that saw everything that took place. He will tell you the same thing I'm saying now. If you wish, I'll provide his name and number. You can hear it from him. I try my best to instruct everyone that comes to TTDA, LLC. the best way I can with respect and knowledge. We don't disrespect nor discriminate against anyone.
None of our students have ever had any complaints as to the way they were instructed or treated in our class and I am saddened that this gentleman felt as if he had an issue with our Academy.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
Academy Instructor

I went to vaseo multiple times trying to speak to someone regarding my agreement. I was told by multiple people that my payoff amount was still $2000+ and that they had no settlement agreement. I personally went to Vaseo multiple times seeking clarification to finish the settlement with a final payment however I could never reach anyone that knew about my settlement agreement. Please keep in mind I finished my contract and this settlement agreement was due to failing to provide a 2 months notice before moving out. Not because I ended the lease before or damages. I shown intent of paying the settlement amount and I'm still willing to pay the remainder. Vaseos lack of knowledge of my agreement and lack of providing any documentation to me of our agreement lead to this confusion.

We understand your position, However, we cannot simply offer a break in the amount owed because a customer did not honor the agreement. Further, we did offer a discount on the amount owed provided the resident followed a certain payment plan which they agreed upon and signed. If the resident does not follow the agreed upon plan the total amount is sent to collections. Any deviation in our practices may constitute a breach in fair housing laws.

After 7 months waiting for a reply as to why they hadent refunded my deposit. Speaking to [redacted] about the events they have were found to be inaccurate recorded. She admitted they have a high turnover in staff and people were let go because of many problems. They are now attempting to take measures to function in an improved way. I expressed how unprofessional the staff is and the lack of care or interest in their tenants that I and others I've personaly talked to felt. Simular problems with unempethetic staff are reflected in numerous reviews online. When you Google a company and the first page that shows up is mostly bad reviews...there is clearly something very wrong. They have no intention of refunding my deposit due to shoty record keeping accusing me of paying rent late. I just hope to put the word out so others could avoid this business and prevent them from the grief I experienced. There are plenty of other rentals that won't put you through this. Even a discount plan with neighboring businesses was not honored half way through my lease the owner of the [redacted] store was upset. Just another example of the long list of grievances me and others have about this business.

above. During this time the resident was very vocal to [redacted] and me about her aggravation and distrust in my abilities. [redacted] offered to let her out of her lease and she declined. There have been no leaks in her laundry room since. She came into the office last Monday April 27th 2015 stating that she is taking a job out of state and would like to take us up on the offer to terminate early because of all the trouble with the leak in the laundry room. I told her I was under the impression we repaired it last fall because we have not heard anything back from her about it leaking again. She told me it leaked a couple of drops the last time it rained. I told her I would have to talk to [redacted] about breaking her lease, in the mean time we created an emergency work order to repair the leak.[redacted] went over that day and as refused entry by the resident. This was documented in resident notes. Resident came back in yesterday requesting an answer from [redacted]. I told her that the offer from [redacted] was not an open offer. Since she refused the offer, we then repaired the leak properly and there have been no new issues since this present complaint as well as the fact that she admitted to me the reason she is leaving is to move out of state that there was no reason for a mutual termination of lease. She would need to go through the regular channels and pay the standard fees. The resident was not happy to hear this and then told me that while she was moving her things out of the laundry room to pack that she found mold on the bottom corner on the walls. I told her that I was aware she refused us entry last week but we really need to take care of the problem. She said that was fine and left. [redacted] went over to the apartment, moisture metered the ceiling and walls and found no moisture except for around the dryer duct vent next to the floor. This is also where the mold was starting to form. Further inspection found the vent tube to be deteriorated on the exterior of the laundry wall allowing rain to travel inside. [redacted] removed affected sheet rock, repaired dryer duct vent. Pictures were taken moisture report filled out. During this process the resident made it very difficult for us to assist her by refusing entry as well as not allowing permission to enter when she was not home.  In order to allow our [redacted] company access to her laundry room we're forced to serve a 48 hr intent to enter. [redacted] inspected laundry room on May 12th 2015 and found no signs of moisture or mold.

Vaseo Apartments is a LOW INCOME apartment complex, and treats their residents as such. Last minute, I was switched to a 2nd floor unit. After 2 weeks the problems started. I work 70+ hours per week, and had too many issues to count. The tenants above me are constantly noisy and disruptive at all times of night. There is no "quiet hour" or "peaceful living" in this place. People park wherever they want, as the assigned parking is for show only. People park in fire lanes, your spot, blocking you in, no one cares. The tenants in the Dobie Building are mostly unemployed drug dealers. This is not my perception, I have been offered drugs regularly when coming home from work late in the evening. The lights are out all over the complex. Complaints are responded to quickly, but to no avail. There is no real apartment manager, as everything goes through young girls in the "office", who have no idea what they are doing. Every one of them has a different take on the rules. There are roaches in the buildings. They had pest control come in once when I first moved, and never again. There is garbage everywhere, and some of the tenants have let their animals use the bathroom in the halls. My car has been hit several times in the parking lot, and there are no cameras, so I was told to "try not to park there if I don't have to", like there was somewhere else for me to park. This place is horrible. Unfortunately, I was new to Phoenix and did not know the area.
