Review: My main complain would be actually getting the paid in advance job completed. I purchased a deal on May 12th, 2014 and we made the appointment soon after, only the next available time for them to actually come out and do the appointment was July 31st! Seemed like a [redacted] time out for me, but we remained patient.Today is July 31st and our appointment was 11-1, only I thought the appointment started at 11 and ended at 1. I didn't think it would be held like a cable or satellite dealer and say that was their window for actually showing up. I called the company at 11:30 to ask if they were running late and they informed me that it was a window of time and they are looking to show up closer to 1:00. I told them if its 1:00 I wouldn't be able to be there and the man said he could reschedule. I told him NO, please keep it and we'll see what happens when they get here. 1:00 showed up and I called again and asked if they were going to be at my house soon. He then told me that they rescheduled for August 22, which was another 20+ days away.I was furious so I asked why he rescheduled without asking me and he said I told him to cancel the appointment when that was NOT at any point what I said. Not only that he never called to tell me that they rescheduled he just did it.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund because due to the fact this business takes appointment 2 months after it was made, my coupon is expiring and I am not sure if they will grant the refund. Not only that I would really like to let everyone know about this business.

Review: I called in October to get an appointment to get my ducts cleaned, and I was able to get an appointment a month away. On the day of the appointment, no one showed up, and when I finally got in touch with someone at the company 4 hours after my appointment time, they informed me that the appointment was cancelled. So I rescheduled, and this time I was given an appointment 2 months away. On my appointment day this time, I was called 30 minutes after my appointment time because they cancelled again. Now, if I want to reschedule, I have to wait until May to get an appointment, which is 3 months away. My daughter has lung issues, so we need the ducts cleaned, and I have had to take off work each day just to sit around for them to call to say they are cancelling. Horrible service, horrible call service, horrible company all around.Desired Settlement: Only want this posted so other consumers can see what this company is like.

Review: I purchased a groupon for a whole home air duct cleaning. It took over a month to get an appointment for the service. On March 7, two employees arrived and checked the furnace and removed all of the vent covers (22). The one guy told me it would take about an hour to clean all 22 vents. Then he checked the furnace and told me I some mold issues. but it wasn't anything serious. He told me he could clean everything, and once he is finished he can call his boss to work up a number. That's ludicrous. You don't ever buy a major service without knowing the price. I told him, I wanted a price before any services were performed, so he wrote up a price estimate of $1300! I told him those numbers were unreasonable, so he called his "boss", who had me answer a few questions, and came down a few hundred dollars in price. But the price was still ridiculous. I told him I would hold off on making any major decisions today, and just to perform the services I purchased through Groupon. Then his partner came and asked what services they were doing, and he replied nothing. Then, he told me to come and look at my furnace and continued to tell me how "BAD" the problem was, but earlier he told me it wasn't anything serious. After I refused services for a SECOND time, he and his partner shut off the vacuum (after running about 5 minutes) and packed up their stuff. Then, he had he asked me to fill out a survey while standing over my shoulder. This groupon is a complete scam. It says they'll come and do an entire air duct cleaning, but if you refuse all of the additional services, they don't even perform the groupon services. I would not recommend this company to ANYONE.Desired Settlement: I don't request any settlement. I received a refund from Groupon. I just want this information shared with all other consumers.

Review: I purchased a Groupon for services from Ventilation Purification. My first appointment in November was canceled by the company 1 hour before they were scheduled to come. I rescheduled and they cackled again 1 hour before the were suppose to come. I asked for the manager to call me and he never did. They failed to show a third time, even thought I called an hour before the end of their "window" for service. When they failed to show a third time I called to tell them not to bother coming at and I called Groupon to get my money back. If a company does not want to honor a Groupon, then don't sign up for their service and try to take peoples money.Desired Settlement: An apology for their dishonesty, but that won't happen. Also, a clear record of the complaint.

Review: I was referred to this company by a neighbor who had her ducts cleaned last year for a reasonable cost and she was very satisfied. Our apts. are the same but somehow she had only two main trunk lines while I have four - I paid nearly four times as much as she did and it seems the tech that provided her service did a much better job. Although the tech tried to explained things to me, I didn't fully understand so, whatever he told me I had to believe. When he uncovered one of the vents he told me there was mold which frightened me so I felt that I had to get that taken care of and agreed to have the work done. I was told by the tech that the tech who cleaned my neighbor's ducts was fired for pilfering from the company which covered their butts for my paying four times more. As was reported by another customer, they gave me an evaluation to complete as the tech stood over me, of course I gave them a good eval. because he was right there. After they left I noticed they did not clean up as well as they should, there was a vent that was put back lopsided and dirty. I would like to redo that evaluation. I called the company to question the price and the number of main ducts, I don't really know who I was talking to, I asked for a manager but it all seemed very shady to me. I heard the same story about the tech who serviced my neighbor so I'm to believe that that tech who accepted a check from my neighbor, made payable to the company, was stealing from the company. I requested another tech to come verify that I indeed had the four trunk lines and that my neighbor had only two. The same tech that I was questioning showed up and, of course, told me I have four and my neighbor has two. I had no idea how to refute that and I feel like I had to suck it up and accept it. I would NEVER recommend this company and my neighbor is regretting her referral.Desired Settlement: Just to let the public know that this company is, in my opinion, shady. The telephone chat with the manager was very suspicious, my neighbor made a similar call and got the same story about the guy who did her cleaning she finished that call saying she was going to write a review of this company.
