Review: Sept. 25- I took the dealer $385.00 to take the car off the lot.Sept. 26- Took the dealer $1300.00 for a [redacted], upon purchase took the car to [redacted] for a full oil change.Sept.30- The car started smoking from under the hood, took it to my mechanic and was told that a thermostat was needed. I replaced the thermostate also attempted to contact the owner about the issue none of my calls were returned. Oct. 4- heat went out and car started running hot again resulting in me leaving the car on the side of the road.Oct. 5- Finally spoke with [redacted] the owner asked for a full refund was told no and he would take it to HIS mechanic to have it serviced, and add the bill to the balance of the car.Oct. 6- Owner called and said it was the radiator and that I was responsible for the cost of the repair.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund, I brought the car because I was assured that the car ran perfectly. I would have never purchased a car knowing it would break down within two weeks. I have two small children and needed a reliable vehicle and was promised by the owner that this vehicle was it. Now I'm out of a total of 1685.00 and a car.

Business

Response:

Revdex.com spoke with a gentleman from the company and he stated that the consumer brought the car back in 7-10 days after the purchase for over heating. They had the car towed to another shop to have the radiator fixed and the company is waiving the charges for this repair.

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID[redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

Regards,

Review: I purchased a tire from this shop on 4/4/14. Not even a week later I had a flat tire. I took it back to them and he just said that nothing is wrong with the tire. I realized It was a used tire but I have never had a problem buying a tire. Then he says my rim is bent. I never had any issues and he didnt show me that the rim is actually bent. Ever since I got the tire, I have to put air in my tire every couple of days. On today, 5/29/14 my tire is so flat I cant drive it to the shop and he put the bolts on so tight, I cant even get the tire off to change it causing me to miss a days work. I am highly upsetDesired Settlement: A new tire and rim repair at NO cost to me because I shouldn't have to be putting air in my tire every 2-3 days and I believe he bent the rim causing the issue

Business

Response:

The business called and wanted to discuss the complaint. He said that the used tires has a 7 day warranty on them and for any issues they will certainly take a look at them to try and fix the problem. HE wants each of his customers to be happy with their experience and will take a look at this rim and change the tire. He dose not do rim work at that shop but if that is the problem he is more than willing to work with the customer to see what other options there are to explore to resolve this issue.

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID[redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved. If the company does not perform as promised I can get back to you at: [redacted]

Regards,

Can't say enough good things about how they worked with me to find a car that not only fit my needs but more especially my budget. They didn't hold my past against me and allowed me work within my means to get a top quality, reliable vehicle - any reservations I may have had initially were immediately erased by their excellent customer first approach!

Thanks for everything, I'll be sure to tell a friend and you'll see me again (thumbs up)!
