I am rejecting this response because: I was specifically informed that with a month to month membership, I may cancel at anytimeI was not verbally told that I had to write a written noticeI remember specifically asking about the cancellation policy and I swear to you no information regarding a day notice was given to meWhen I called to cancel, I was given a phone number which I called and left a Vmail to cancel my membershipI then walked inside the store and spoke to a Manager named Billy who assured me he will have my membership cancelled, but unfortunately for me, they hit my account with another charge (Of course Billy later denied this and even gave me a huge rude attitude during a phone conversation, which I hope was recorded) Mind you, I had called to cancel my card due to losing it, despite that, they were able to get around with the bank and withdrew my hard earning moneyAll I received from this place was lies, a headache, and troubleThey are rude, disrespectful and dishonestThey do not even have the integrity of giving me an apologyThis response from the person who claims they had not seen the email until someone from Revdex.com contacted them shows how little they care about the way they operate and the way they treat their clientsThis response is certainly unacceptableJust give me my refund and an apology if even possibleSave the mess, the trouble, and the lies Regards, [redacted] ***

I am rejecting this response because: I walked inside of victory fitness I spoke with a light skinned black girl who told me she will send out my information for someone to reach back out to be for the cancellationThe woman there never responded so I thought my cancellation was taken care of, but then I got a latter regarding my balance owedthen I walked back up there I spoke with another woman who said she had no idea of what I was talking about and the woman I spoke with before doesn't work there You can pull the cameras back to when I cancelled my membershipthen I wasn't an there again until I got the latter The people that was working there at the time didn't do there job correctly and now im taking the blame and heat from their wrong doings

I am rejecting this response because:I contacted the business about restarting my membershipI paid half of what I owed to be able to come back .I had every intention of paying the other half on February 3rdI went almost every day until I developed a kidney infection and hives on my body from the poolNo one on the staff contacted me about not being able to come backI am the one who contacted them and told them I wouldn't be returning I also told them I was cancelling my membership and told them about the issues I had They told me , for better words, it was my own fault That no one else has these issues

First of all, I would like to apologize for the late response I was just informed of this complaint For some unknown reason, I had not received either of the letters mailed to me about this complaint I only found out because I had received a courtesy call from the Revdex.com.The membership for this customer was signed on 7/24/ It is a month-to-month membership which means that you can cancel at anytime with a 30-day written notice It states this in the membership agreement and she had to initial at that point that she understood this There is a note on 9/5/that she called in wanting to freeze the payments She was told that we don't do that so then she wanted to cancel She was told at that point that it had to be in writing and was given my phone # if she had any other questions Her payments were $per month She paid her first month the day she signed and then she was scheduled to make payments of $each month on the 25th of the month She emailed on 9/28/that she had cancelled her membership She was sent an email back that we had no notes of receiving a cancellation letterThen she called in on 9/28/yelling because her membership hadn't been canceled She was again told that we would gladly cancel it as soon as we received something in writing We received an email within hours to cancel her membership Her membership was cancelled at that time She had paid two months and then got hit again on 9/25/ She was hit on 9/25/because we had not received her 30-day written notice to cancel yet Since then we have received a charge back from the bank for the 9/25/payment She had her membership from 7/24/to 9/28/ After the charge back from the bank, she had paid only two months Due to these facts, there is no refund due and her membership has been cancelled.If you have any further questions, please let me know

First of all, I would like to apologize for the late response.  I was just informed of this complaint.  For some unknown reason, I had not received either of the letters mailed to me about this complaint.  I only found out because I had received a courtesy call from the Revdex.com.The membership for this customer was signed on 7/24/17.  It is a month-to-month membership which means that you can cancel at anytime with a 30-day written notice.  It states this in the membership agreement and she had to initial at that point that she understood this.  There is a note on 9/5/17 that she called in wanting to freeze the payments.  She was told that we don't do that so then she wanted to cancel.  She was told at that point that it had to be in writing and was given my phone # if she had any other questions.  Her payments were $36.55 per month.  She paid her first month the day she signed and then she was scheduled to make payments of $36.55 each month on the 25th of the month.  She emailed on 9/28/17 that she had cancelled her membership.  She was sent an email back that we had no notes of receiving a cancellation letter. Then she called in on 9/28/17 yelling because her membership hadn't been canceled.  She was again told that we would gladly cancel it as soon as we received something in writing.  We received an email within 2 hours to cancel her membership.  Her membership was cancelled at that time.  She had paid two months and then got hit again on 9/25/17.  She was hit on 9/25/17 because we had not received her 30-day written notice to cancel yet.  Since then we have received a charge back from the bank for the 9/25/17 payment.  She had her membership from 7/24/17 to 9/28/17.  After the charge back from the bank, she had paid only two months.  Due to these facts, there is no refund due and her membership has been cancelled.If you have any further questions, please let me know.
