Victory Greens Stone & Garden Center Reviews (%countItem)

Three strikes you are out! Mayor hassle factor.
Short version, unless you like a hassle look elsewhere. In my opinion these people are very very hard to conduct business with.

1. I order a red round paver. They said it should take a week. Week went by and I called. They said it is not in but should not take more then a week. Another week goes by so I go up there to get my money back. Turns it was there they just to lazy to bothered to call me.
2. I call and tell them I need one yard of garden mix but I need to get rid of a little bit of sod. They say no problem. I go up there and then they say no way we cannot take the sod. I go elsewhere and do the same thing without any problems.
3. I go up there for a half yard of garden mix. They say we cannot sell you a half yard. I said I would pay for a whole and only take a half. If I needed the rest I would come back. They say you cannot do this, that you will need to pay for a whole again. I went elsewhere and they did not have an issue with a half yard.

Be easy on yourself and shop anywhere but there.

Purchased several trees/shrubs. One tree looks dead at top, concerned of no upward growth, plus looked deformed. Called Victory Greens in April submitting to all their requirements and instruction for how to resolve with them the replacement of the tree -- an Incense Cedar. "Suzie" (a seemingly supervisory-role) required manager's protocol is have customer take pictures and email to them. Upon review of pix, manager will decide. Upon review of email and pix received reply email from Victory Greens stating the Incense Cedar does not show growth until April, but they can definitely see the winter damage, "wait until May".

Came in person in "June", showed current pictures via email. Manager walked right past me with disgruntled facial expression and completely ignored as if I wasn't standing there. President was already at the counter when I arrived and was listening to my situation. Last email was not responded to. To date -- Saturday, July 29, 2017, there has been no reply from Victory Greens to even acknowledge the customer. I enjoyed the sale process, but after the sale has been disrespect. I did not want to believe this ... but waiting since April and having the management team ignore is not to be tolerated and what else can one believe?

Victory Greens Stone & Garden Center Response

To my knowledge the tree in question is not dead. Have looked at the pictures of cedar and it did show some winter damage but was coming out of it. One dead branch does not mean the whole tree is dead. We have looked at our cedars and they had some winter damaged and they have rebounded from it.

Victory Greens warranty is 50% of dead tree for one year towards the purchase of another tree. This warranty is for a dead tree not a living tree or unpleasant looking tree.

Reviewing the correspondence from this tree including looking at the pictures that were sent in I believe that the tree in question is alive. I do not see in my email records of a email that was not responded too. I thought that the customer had been told by my staff that the tree was alive and did not think there was a further problem. I am sorry if customer was expecting further correspondence and did not get it.

With all the correspondence, I have seen I believe the tree is alive and a warranty would not be involved on this tree. I do not know when the 1 year warranty is up on this tree or if it has already, but if it is truly dead I will extend the warranty to Sept 1st, if they warranty has expired.

Sincerely,

Kent M

Customer Response

Complaint: ***

I am rejecting this response because:
Contacting the Revdex.com is the only way I got ANY response at all -- and it is the first and only time I have heard from Kent, Tim or staff.

Victory showed no respect, care, or interest after the sale. No customer should have to contact the Revdex.com just to get a proprietor to answer a legitimate cry for help concerning their product after following "their" instructions.

Even now they state no concern for the beauty of a tree ... but only if it is dead. Who purchases a tree except for beautifying property? Who doesn't love a tree but is in the tree business?

Their reply confirms that Victory Greens model of doing business is usual and ingrained.

I will move on, handle the tree problem on my own, NOT do business with Victory Greens; and thank God for Victory's other trees, which are still flourishing.

Also, thanks be to God and Victory Greens for the AMAZING two men from Victory who planted them all!

Sincerely
