Mr [redacted] brought his car in stating the is a/c was inoperable We checked the system and added dye to check for leaks The customer's extended warranty would not cover the repair We did inspect the vehicle and recharged the a/c are services were paid for The customer declined the repairs and took his vehicle elsewhere There will be no refund issued and if there is any additional information needed Mr [redacted] the Service Director can be notified

Customer stated to the Service Director, [redacted] that she did not have the money for the repairs and would set up a appointment with him for Friday April She was told we can have the parts here in one day for the repairs when she could afford the work to be done Neither the Service Director or Service Manager has not heard from Ms [redacted] since then

On Wednesday the 19th I checked for appointments and at that time Ms [redacted] had not made an appointment I responded to the complaint the next morning I do see that Ms [redacted] made an appointment for April on the 19th of April

The dye was not added because we thought there was something else wrong with the car It is standard procedure when refilling the unit However the dye added did allow us or whoever else look at it find additional leaks in the system There was absolutely no way possible for any technician at any shop to know that there was a second leak, until the system was recharged and lost its pressure again I know it is unfortunate and not ideal, but it is the nature of a/c unitsNo one in the world could have diagnosed the second leak the first time the car was brought in No one in the world would have know it existed And indeed when the car left the first time the a/c was running fine because it still had refrigerant in the system

there was a delay in the state of Texas beyond our control with the issue of the plates on this vehicle we did call and have since received the plates and they were overnighted to her days ago I just spoke with her and she has received the plates and they are happy now

The customer has brought her car to the Dealership and we have fixed it to her satisfaction We also purchased a remote start for her inconvenience in the delay of repairing her vehicle

We made the recommended action for this vehicle and the customer declined the service. As a good will gesture we will refund the customer his $

The oil changes for the vehicle that he bought was Serial number specific and since he traded in that vehicle it doesn't apply to just any vehicle he purchases from either us or another dealership. We purchased for him a Hyundai Protection Plan for the pre-paid maintenance on the vehicle he...

purchased from us on 5/31/16. Since he no longer has that vehicle the policy is cancelled.

Ms[redacted] made an appointment to come in on Friday April 7, 2017 at 10:00 am.  We did a free inspection and diagnosis on her car.  She declined any repairs that was recommended for her vehicle.
