Review: We have paid for a Hot Rod Stell Guitar a total of $ 1,975.00 a year ago and we still haven't received the guitar. We have called Mr. G[redacted] many times, where most went unanswered. The times we did get through, he always had some justification for the delay and promised get the issue resolved. It turns out that we are not the only ones facing the same issue with Mr. G[redacted]. He seems to purposedly deceive people and take their money. In one single forum we have identified at least 16 different people that were also played by Mr. G[redacted].Desired Settlement: Either the Guitar purchased is delivered accoding to specs or the money gets entirely refunded.

Review: Through communications via email with [redacted], the owner of Vintage Nationals, I was told that they had a specific guitar that I was interested in purchasing. On July 30, 2014, I completed a purchase of the steel tricone 14-fret cutaway guitar ($799), installation of a Highlander Magnaphonic Tricone pickup ($349) and a volume control knob ($35) plus shipping ($65) for a total of $1240.00 paid via PayPal. I tried several times to contact [redacted] to get shipping information to no avail. In mid-October, my wife finally got a call from [redacted] stating that a "shipment had just come in and he would ship the guitar immediately." I received a shipment on October 17. Unfortunately, the guitar that arrived was not what I ordered, and had none of the paraphernalia installed. Because of the delay in shipment it was also past the date at which a complaint with PayPal could be made.On October 17, I emailed Vintage Nationals and sent pictures of the guitar received. He emailed back and apologized, said I could play the guitar he sent until he sent the correct shipment at which time I would send back the "wrong" guitar. Since Oct. 17 I have made several attempts to contact [redacted] by phone and email with no reply. The business has since changed it's phone number to ###-###-####. Calls made to that number are sent to voicemail, but the box is full and not accepting anymore messages.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the total amount, $1240.00 refunded to my PayPal account and a paid return label for the incorrect guitar which will be returned immediately on receipt of the above mentioned refund.If the guitar is not immediately available, I will accept a refund of $394 (the pickup + knob) refunded to my PayPal account.

I p*id c*sh *nd received the item *t the home of Lenny G[redacted], 4636 [redacted] 93110. (When *sked *bout the Tunnel Ro*d business *ddress he responded th*t the *ddress w*s not v*lid) I *lso p*id $125 plus t*x c*sh for * h*rd c*se for the guit*r to be picked up when *v*il*ble. *t the time of the s*le Mr. G[redacted]sked if he could deliver the bill of s*le vi* e-m*il *nd I *greed. To d*te, July 17, 2015 I h*ve not received the bill of s*le or the h*rd c*se. I h*ve e-m*iled him twice in June *nd c*lled him sever*l times *t the business number *nd h*ve received no response. I h*ve forw*rded * mess*ge to KEYT TV host [redacted]bout the m*tter *nd put C*liforni* Bo*rd Of Equ*liz*tion District 2 bo*rd member Ms. M* on copy reg*rding the possible f*ilure to p*y the s*les t*xes *fter collecting them from the s*le.Desired Settlement: Delivery of * bill of s*le.Delivery of the h*rd c*se.

Review: A Highlander pickup was ordered and purchased for $230 from Lenny at Vintage National and never delivered. After calling it was agreed that a refund of $230 was to be issued. It still has yet to be given even after many months and many phone calls to Vintage National discussing the issue.Desired Settlement: I'm requesting a refund of $230

This transaction has been refunded in full thru paypal to the email address provided by the customer. I also loaned the customer a new $50 case to transport his guitar that I'm still hoping will be returned as agreed. This was part of a multi piece transaction that included a guitar and a hard shell case along with the pickup in question. The guitar was picked up in person and the upgraded case drop shipped to his home. Unfortunately the pickup was back ordered at the time of purchase and he found it on his own elsewhere. I wish the best to the customer and hope on his next time thru Santa Barbara will return the case I loaned him as he assured me he would. Cheers.
