Our final offer is to credit Ms***'s credit card for what we paid for the part which was $

The manager of this store location, *** *** contacted Ms*** and apologized for the miscommunication and offered to do the alignment for them at no cost Customer set up appointment for Saturday, July 25th*** was wrong Ms*** vehicle does need a wheel bearing
It needs a wheel bearing, also the rear tires are bald and the front tires are severely chopped The Tech's at this location (***, *** & ***) tried to get them to come out to the shop so they could see with their own eyes that this needs to be taken care of before we can perform an alignment The customer refused several times - they did not want to see it

Mr*** left a message on the customer service voicemail which was then entered into our customer service portal in which, Mr*** ***, the service manager of this location contacted *** regarding this complaint on Friday, October 2nd *** and *** agreed on a refund of $
which will be mailed out to Mr*** on Tuesday, October 13th

I was never told that my tires were bad when I first took my truck to vip, I was told last Saturday that they werewhy wasn't I told this before? As far as the wheel bearing goes I am taking it to darlings next week to get it looked atAs far as me not going into the shop to look at last week, I am not a mechanic so I would not even know what to look at. who was telling the truth about itI have more respect for the mechanics at darlings than vipSince I heard several complaints about there work from other people. I am still not happy with the service at VIP

I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #***I understand that by choosing to accept the business response that my complaint will be closed as resolved. The problem first started when I felt that my concerns were not being heard (as a VIP customer). I felt as if I was being "brushed aside" when I tried to communicate, and then when there was a problem with the part that was replaced, I felt I had no other choice but to file a complaint. However, after my discussion with ***, and several of the other technicians, I feel that the issue has been resolved, and communication has improved greatly! :-) Thank you ***! :-)Regards,

*** ***, our District Manager for this location attempted numerous times to resolve this issue. He explained to Ms*** that there was a shipping charge that brought our cost of the strut assemblies up considerably. He also had Ms*** take the vehicle back to us to correct
the alignment with camber bolts. When Ms*** brought the vehicle to her mechanic in Rhode Island, he touched the adjustments underneath the vehicle and knocked the alignment out ***. Two of our technicians in the Watertown location spent a couple of hours fixing the alignment issue. As for the OEM part, the store manager, *** explained to Ms*** that the only place he could locate the parts were from ** *** in Kansas. She was aware of that. The representative at ** said that the strut was an "aftermarket part made by various vendors and was equal to an OEM part". We are willing to credit Ms***'s credit card used in the transaction in the amount of $which is the difference of what Ms*** paid ($645.26) and what we paid plus shipping ($384)
