VIP Towing

I do apologize if you feel that we are stealing cars at [redacted] we have a signed contract with the owner of this property, when your vehicle was towed it was a legal tow which we also cleared it with HPD before removing vehicleOur parking lot attendant witness [redacted] and other female party park and walk off property and walked to property next to this property which they visited [redacted] He never visited any of the businesses where he parked, only when he found out that he got towed then he decided to make a order at [redacted] *** He was so rude screaming yelling swearing at us, he stated to us that he was in [redacted] the whole time but now he tells you that he went to the other propertyWhen he got to the yard the dispatcher had asked him for his current registration because the one he provided was expired, then he started screaming yelling and swearing at us and he tried pulling off the booth from the tire, we had to escort him off of property closed the gate and informed him to call the policeThey parked at 10:37am we cleared vehicle at 10:54am logged vehicle at 10:57am, driver was off property on the public road restrapping the tires because it was too looseSo when they returned and noticed vehicle was towed, they walked into [redacted] to order something so they could say they were customers, there receipt for [redacted] was at 11:14am, not knowing the vehicle was cleared with HPD before being a customerWhile receiving there order that's when [redacted] noticed his car on tow truck, he went to run after the tow truck but tow truck is off property prior to [redacted] seeing his vehicleBy law in Sec HRS 290-we are to drop vehicle if registered owner returns to vehicle before going off property, in this case driver was already off the property this was a legal tow

This place damaged our car during the towing process Not only were we charged an excessive amount for the tow, but the employees were rude They hid behind the window in their trailer and would not even come out to look at the damage They just wanted their cash By the way, this happened on New Year's eve when the business parking spot (where I was towed) was assumed to be closed anyway Car was towed minutes after parking my vehicle which indicates to me that there was somebody paid in a near by car to watch for violators How do I know this? Because there were several of us who live in Kapolei rendering huge sumsof money to pick up our cars and it was from the same parking lotThe owner of this parking lot is getting a kick back, I guarantee This is a scam And the VIP towing people are in it I will be reporting next on the owner of the parking lot Ya, Happy New Year

VIP Towing has not responded, replied or contacted me in any mannerVIP Towing is a dishonest business at the minimum

Their vehicle was towed because they went off property, came down to the yard screaming and yelling because we wouldn't release the vehicle because it was in companies name which they couldn't show any documentsAt the same time her husband called to speak with a manager which was me and stated that he was off island and how could he show proof to get the vehicleHe stated it's a family business, which has multiple families that own the company tooCops did get called because they were causing a commotion at the yard with her boyfriend, and her husband on the phone line with meThere was no one drinking from our company, there is more than one company on this lot, people were watching because what was happening

A lot of people that gets towed in that lot claims they were in *** *** after they get towedIf you were in *** *** why didn't you respond to the parking attended when he walks in *** *** and tells everyone this car will be towedWe always confirm with *** *** if that's there customer or notThank you I understand you a disappointed but please read signs before you park to go some where elseThanks

*** *** *** As I had said earlier, I had coupons, one for *** ***, one for *** *** You say the parking lot attendant warned me, I did not see or talk to any parking lot attendant. This parking lot is so confusing to a regular person. The sign says it is ok to park there if I am going to *** *** which I was going to eat lunch there. I got my *** *** 1st, so my ham*** would not get cold. You mention the property next to you has high volume, however the yellow line in the parking lot doesnt mean too much to someone unaware of your internal problem. Maybe on your sign you should put DO NOT CROSS YELLOW LINE. Or put a fence between the two. How would I know you are parking lots when you are one parking lot. The reason I feel it is a svam is because my car was towed in minutes, and no one talked to me. In minutes I was already getting my hamburger. The time on my reciept is when I got my meal, not when I was in line to order my mealThe reason I said I was treated rude is because your employee shut the window at your lot as to shut me out, and when I asked for owners name in order to work things out I was told you would not give me his or her name. One of your employees said maybe I should of gone to *** *** 1st, and I dont see what it matters, because I planned to have lunch there as soon as I got my drink. On your explanation I do not understand what you mean by hear say? I have read on line many people hurt by this. I am rejecting this response because: the posted signs are confusing it does not state the length of time that a patron has to remain at the business the sign also has the number "24" on it and does not explain what that corresponds to I did see the signs and the line but the sign should state that after leaving the assigned establishments that you must immediately leave the signs are not clear and on the day I was towed so was other people so I am not the only one confused I feel that vip towing is being predatory in its enforcement of the parking lot

I apologize if you feel that we had damaged your vehicle, when we towed it damages was already on vehicle before our tow truck towed it. I feel that this is a civil matter, you are trying to make me pay for something that we haven't done.

I am rejecting this response because: the owner didn't address why he overcharge me. This Company didn't follow the law and the owner knows it. The driver and the parking lot monitor was running a scam to take people money . 2 minutes after you got out of the car the tow truck would come and tow your car because he was parked around the corner. I was parked in [redacted] parking lot under a 3 hour parking sign . I was parked their for 15 min. So how is that illegal parking ? I have several witness that saw the entire operation taking place . My lawyer will take care of the matter if VIP doesn't want to address the matter in a professional manner . The bottom line I never received a receipt for my cash only according to the driver . That's against the law . The must offer credit card option . When I asked him the driver said no , cash only .
