From the time we were looking into solar panels through the time that our solar panels were hooked up and running, we have had wonderful interactions with Luis and Amy from the Crius Energy team. They constantly quick to respond and continuously helpful in guiding us through the solar panel purchasing, installation, and hook up process. Additionally, the relationship that Crius Energy has with ***, made the financing process smooth as well. We are looking forward to many years of solar energy, and are hoping that our solar panels continue to run as smoothly as the installation process was.

I will never do business with them again.
Though, I will say, for the 1 month I used them the lights never flickered.
I spent weeks searching online for great rates before I moved into our newly purchased home. Since I had a 30 year mortgage, I had no qualms about signing up for the 5 yr contract since it offered me a lower rate.
However, when my first bill rolled in, not only was I not getting a lower rate, but besides my nearly 14 cents per kwh, there was also a large $50+ fee attached. I knew, long term, even the disconnect fee would be better than paying these rates for energy for the next 5 years.
Only to receive a $700 bill for disconnecting after the first month. You're allowed to change your mind within 3 days of signing up but not after that. (How do you know if you'll like an energy company in 3 days?). The $700 was higher than what I expected the termination fee to be so I contacted them via the website and was told that had I picked a smaller contract not only would my termination fee be less, but my rates would have been less.
This directly contradicted my hours of comparing and contrasting TriEagle with several other companies and which option would be best with TriEagle. I can assure you, nobody would pick a 5 yr contract if a 3 yr was available - especially if it were available at a lower rate.
They called me and told me I owed them the termination fee. After discussion, they did knock the fee down to $573.85. I paid them and logged on to write this review. Good luck.

I was just informed by customer service that I am under a 3 year contract. I moved into an apartment for school, which I knew was only going to be 16 months so I would only be living there for 17-20 months MAX. When I tried to cancel today for a cheaper company, I was told it was going to be $300 to cancel since I'm under contract. I never would have signed up for a 3 year contract, knowing I wouldn't be there for 3 years. When I started to tell the customer service rep that I wouldn't have signed that and that it was ridiculous, he all of a sudden had a hard time hearing me and kept saying, "There's a lot of static on the line, your phone is messing up." But whenever he needed me to verify my account info, which took a good five minutes, he never once had trouble hearing me. This is not the first time I had trouble with TriEagle. I moved a few months ago and decided I would continue my service at my new apartment and when I had issues with my bill (I was not told about a disconnect fee or a reconnect fee, only told that there would be a few days of overlap because they don't disconnect on a weekend like I wanted) they all of a sudden couldn't hear me when I started to complain about the fees. I also had an issue with the automatic payment. When I called to try to correct the problem they saw that the payment that had been made was posted to my apartment that I had moved from so I had a $85 credit at an apartment I had not lived at for a month. When we got the issue straightened out, I was told that I would not have a late fee even though the processing time to transfer the credit was going to hit after the due date. When I looked at the next bill, there was the late fee. Terrible customer service and untrustworthy company. DO NOT USE THEM!!!
