Review: I signed up at the beginning of June for service from said company. I was told that I would receive a garbage container within a week. They told me to go ahead and set out my garbage and it would be taken. It is now 7-28-14 and they have never taken my garbage nor have I received a container, but they have sent me bills. I called today and they told me that it was because I never signed the agreement. A paper that I never received. They also told me that I still owe the money. I told them I don't believe I should pay for a service I never received. They threatened to turn me into collections. I believe this is unfair treatment and I will not pay for something that I never received. If I never signed said contract I'm not sure how they can go after me.Desired Settlement: I do not want to owe for a service that I did not receive and I do not want this turned into collections if I do not pay it.

Review: Vogel disposal on numerous times has not picked up garbage as I have paid for the device. There have been times they have left garbage stating I have exceeded 10 bag limit which was not the case or bags have exceeded 40 lb limit which I have checked with a bathroom scale " I understand this is not a inspected scale but nor do they have one . There is trash scattered along the street and trucks leaking fluids along highway. There was also an incident in which they threw my entire can in the truck crushed it and drove away only to respond that it was to heavy to get back out not to offer to replace it or credit my bill with the new purchase priceDesired Settlement: Desired outcome would be to receive service that is paid for without every excuse in the book when you call there customer service along with more sanitary conditions with there leaking vehicles

Review: Vogel disposal routinely fails to pick up the garbage as contracted for the [redacted] sub-division which resides near the [redacted] municipal building. The roads mostly affected by this are [redacted], [redacted], [redacted], and [redacted], all within the [redacted] PA, [redacted] postal area. The most recent conflict with Vogel was met with abject hostility and we were basically told to not expect service until either April, or until all the snow melts.The road leading into the community, [redacted], is right next to the municipal building so it is one of the very first roads to be treated in a snow situation. The lower part of [redacted] also falls under this treatment condition. The upper part of [redacted]. is a private Rd. which is collectively treated (plowed, etc ...) regularly by the residents who reside along this drive.The reason this is a health issue is because, as I'm sure you know, garbage that is uncollected and is forced to sit at a residents draws numerous varieties of pathogen bearing pests. This is especially prevalent in a rural setting such as ours. In addition to disease, animals such as raccoons, feral cats, stray dogs, and coyotes, pose a great risk to the health and safety of this community. Bottom line is that uncollected refuse is a very significant health risk, and failure to honor a contractual obligation, especially when you are a monopoly for refuse collection is this area, is not only egregious, reprehensible, and irresponsible, it shows a complete lack of respect for Vogel Disposals customers, and a fundamental lack of regard for our welfare. There must be laws in place to shied customers from reckless behavior such as what Vogel disposal is displaying towards our community.Desired Settlement: We would like Vogel Disposal to honor their contractual obligation to us by pickup our refuse at the designated time and day, or in a reasonable time frame thereafter, in the event of in-climate weather or other unforeseen circumstances.We also feel that Vogel Disposal should refund monies already paid to them for the services which they are refusing to render.
