After doing some research I found that the customer did an early termination on his previous vehicle. The outstanding balance is the remaining balance due on the lease which is the responsibility of the customer. I have spoke to the customer about this on a couple of occasions and thought we had... made a error on the payoff but that wasn't the case. There would be only 1 solution to this and I would be more than happy to speak with the customer to help resolve this matter. Thanks [redacted] VW of Alamo Heights###-###-####

I brought in my Passat for the 100,mile serviceI scheduled the service on the dealership's website as I have done since purchaseI have had service on this vehicle every 10,miles from 40,until now at this dealershipThe site gave me a price of $However, once checking in the vehicle, I was informed that the actual cost would be $since my vehicle was "DSG", which means "direct shift something...maybe gears" I was told
I have never had such a large difference in the actual cost and the advertised priceUsually it's just the tax which hasn't been added in yetA $increase over the quote is way too much in my opinionIf there is a different cost depending on vehicle options that should be stated up front, not once the consumer is checking in at dealership (i.ebait and switch)

the first check for $was mailed out on the 9th of Janthe 2nd check for $was mailed out on the 16th, we have forwarded copies of both checks to the customerThe delay on the 2nd check was due to a signature that was needed for mileage purposes on the warranty

Misleading and sales practices by this dealership and its sales repsRecently, I purchased a previously own used Toyota Tundra truck from this VW dealership With the full understanding, I was purchasing a used vehicleThe VW Sales Rep, *** ***, offered to have the Tundra fully clean, detailed and sand blast (detailed wax) while completing the purchase of this vehicle My problems with this dealership started the day I was taking possession of this vehicleI had tradmy Nissan Truck and paid cash for the remaining balance to have a paid cash transaction
During the time of the interior cleaning, I have asked the dealership to validate they would have enough time to complete a thoroughly interior cleaning of the truckThey gave a specific time, and just have to wait additional two hours to have the work done for the interior cleaning Due to bad weather, the sand blast or detailed wax to the exterior of the truck along with the retouch of some scratches on th

I purchased a Volkswagen Jetta from this dealership on 06/30/I was told the vehicle was to go through service after I purchased itImmediately I noticed that the transmission was acting weird and out of character for the part, it didn't wanna *** and I'd have let off the gas before it would and sometimes it would feel like it hit really hardI didn't know much about transmissions or cars at the time and thought I could trust the dealership beacause they had inspected and were reputable but, apparently notOn 3-2-the vehicle actually stalled out on a major highway at that point I know what ever was going on wasn't at allSo I took it to my local Volkswagen dealer and they stated that I needed a new transmissionMy warrenty that I purchased covered the cost of the transmission minus the deductible and some of the rental car time loan time as I must have a vehicle to get to work and school But here's where is gets better! In January I was driving alon

I have never been so happy with my Passat It looks great, runs smooth, and I got mi/ galweeks ago as I took a trip to the coastI actually like washing it because it is fast and easy
I called to make a scheduled oil change and Michelle had me out of there in minsShe was extremely knowledgeable and friendlyLater that evening I picked up my vehicle way after they closed and Travis from sales returned from his home to present my car to me at the dealershipNot only was the oil changed, tires rotated, my front end was aligned that I didn't know was so bad.( I thank Michelle for that.)
I had them repair my hail damage and it wasn't even detectableI asked them if they can fix the chip in my paint from a rock off a construction truck on the highway What a great job and they even fixed the scratch on the rear panel from a garage incident with my son's motorcycle

I am considering accepting this response because I do not believe I should be responsible for this balance*** *** said that I would have zero due on the beetle if I traded in my lease a year early and everything would be coveredMr*** I did send you on September 1st the documentation that you requested that I had received from VW Credit the day I received it and you said that you would take care of itSee attached photos for screenshots of the emails sent to you as requested, and also the screenshots of our conversations in which over the past months you had led me on to think that this was going to be settled between VW of Alamo Heights and VW CreditYou have been sailing from our first contact that this was your mistake These messages are the first that I had heard that I was responsible for the balance and am a tad infuriated that Ralph lied to me that I would not owe anything on the beetleI will be contacting you to settle this, but I would also like the contact information of your immediate supervisor to ensure that this doesn’t happen to another customerI will also be notifying my chain of command of this situation to provide information to other service members to be cautious of purchasing or leasing a vehicle from VW of Alamo HeightsI will be in touch with you Mr*** but I would also like the information from you for your superior. Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: On March 24, when I spoke with [redacted] I expressed I would like to terminate my lease early but do not want to carry over negative equity or outstanding balances. He said this would not be a problem. When I was signing my paperwork, my finance specialist said there was no outstanding balance, VW will pay off the vehicle and if I could pay the first payment. On September 1 I texted [redacted] about the balance. At 3:47 pm, [redacted] texted he had a call into a VW SUPERVISOR to see why there was an issue. I did not receive a response back until September 7 at 7:52 am where he texted “that I was only responsible for $440”. Under the assumption it had been resolved by VW of Alamo Heights, I received new invoices from VW Credit. I have been maintaining communication with [redacted] and he had ignored text messages. I received no response from him on October 17 and November 20 until 3:46 pm where he asked if I paid the $440. I asked who do I send it to and who was the supervisor he spoke with and he had yet to respond. With his response about me owing a final balance this can further my complaint that I was deceived when I terminated my lease by his sales personnel saying that there was no future balance. I have been leasing with VW for a period of time and this is my 3rd leases vehicle but yet this is the first issue I am having with the final balance. I can provide text message screen shots of conversations between Mr. [redacted] and I where he has failed to communicate with me hence why I am pursuing a complaint. Phone calls will not be considered a form of communication now due to these issues. I would like this to be brought to the attention of Mr. [redacted]’s superior as well as getting my issue resolved.
Regards,
[redacted]

Mr. [redacted] was asked for a copy of his statement from VW but never provided it. Mr.. [redacted] stated he had a payment that was due of $440 as his final payment. We used what we had on file and our finance dept. went over the contract. We assumed that there was a mistake and there was shortage of  the payoff amount. After reviewing the contract that was not the case. The vehicle was turned in early and any overage is the responsibility of the customer.  I have attached the payoff documents and VW of Alamo Height paid off what was stated. There maybe another resolution to fix the problem but it would require Mr. [redacted] to contact me at 210.582.1199. If this is not acceptable to Mr. [redacted] than the resolution stands as is in which he owe VW credit the remainder of his balance Thank You  [redacted]
