Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I had already resolved to move forward with this issue however: [redacted] is not apart the of team that I dealt with in this situation and the people that are involved are avoiding correspondence with me.
Regards,
[redacted]

We purchased the jack and lug nut wrench for Mr. [redacted], he knows that it is here and has not picked it up.  We will be happy to pay the $100 deductible for him to have his vehicle at a Hyundai shop.  We have identified there are no safety issues and the vehicle is in good working order. We have not been able to come to a resolution with Mr. [redacted] and for that I am sorry.  But this is all we are willing to do.  Thank you.

March 31, 2017Revdex.com of Greater Kansas City880 Ward Parkway, Suite 101Kansas City, MO 64114[redacted]RE: VWLS response to Complaint stated by [redacted]Volkswagen of Lee’s Summit (“VWLS”) disputes Mr. [redacted]’s account of events. On August 15, 2017, [redacted] signed a lease agreement, by...

which he (not he and hisfriend) leased a new VW Passat. VW Credit Leasing, not VWLS, is the lessor. [redacted] is thelessee. [redacted] agreed to make monthly payments for the lease term.[redacted], only, signed the lease. [redacted] signed the Lease Agreement at 3 differentplaces. He signed multiple other documents, multiple times. The lease agreement conspicuouslydoes not list a co-lessee. In addition, [redacted] signed a Credit Application, a Date of SaleVerification, a Statement of Understanding, a You Owe/ We Owe form, a Sales Event Claimform, a Notice about Personal Property Tax, a Verification of Insurance, an Odometer DisclosureStatement, and an Application for Missouri Title. The name of [redacted]’s friend appears onnone of these documents, nor does her signature. [redacted]’s signature, by comparison, appearson the lease agreement and related documents at least twenty times. It is incredulous that he nowsays that he thought someone else had co-signed the same documents.VW Credit would have mailed soon after execution of the lease agreement a paymentschedule to Mr. [redacted], at his address. That information would have shown him to be the onlylessee and the only obligor. Either [redacted] forwarded the payment schedule to his friend whomade payments for the next several months; or [redacted] made the payments. Either way,[redacted] would have known he was the sole obligor. Yet he said nothing to VWLS or, as far asVWLS knows, to VW Credit. Yet, it’s only now, seven months later, that Mr. [redacted] questionshis role in the transaction? The legal significance of [redacted]’s claim that his friend was supposed to be a co-lesseeis, furthermore, not clear. If the lease had shown co-lessees, each lessee (including [redacted])would be obligated to make all payments due under the lease. [redacted] would still beresponsible to make the monthly lease payment, even if his friend, [redacted], still has the Passatand, he says, “has hidden the vehicle at an unknown location so that the vehicle can’t beretrieved.”[redacted] says he wants VWLS to repossess the Passat. VWLS, though, does not own thePassat; VW Credit Leasing does. VW Credit Leasing could perhaps repossess the Passat, butVWLS cannot.[redacted], not VWLS or VW Credit, is responsible for his decision to entrust the Passathe leased to his friend, who [redacted] says is now hiding it. [redacted] should direct his complaintto [redacted]. [redacted] does not have a valid complaint against either VWLS or VW Credit.Sincerely,[redacted], General ManagerVolkswagen of Lee’s Summit

---------- Forwarded message ----------From: [redacted]<[redacted]>Date: Tue, Dec 27, 2016 at 3:52 PMSubject: ComplaintTo: "[redacted]" <[redacted]>Hello. On the morning of 12/27/2016 I submitted a complaint regarding the Volkswagon dealership of Lee's Summit Missouri. Reference number [redacted]. I am writing again to inform the Revdex.com that I have been in contact with the dealership. While the maintenance issue was resolved, I am still waiting to see if my contract issues can be resolved as well. This has been a very frustrating ordeal, but the rep I spoke with today, [redacted], did listen, gave me options and seemed to be as honest as he could be. I can only hope this issue gets fully resolved and I can definitely say I'll never buy a new car again. Thank you for your help, as I can't help but to believe that your submission to the company of my complaimt helped drastically since It was memtioned to me in conversation with the dealership.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
I spoke with [redacted] a sales manager today about length of time to get my refund. He stated normally 1-2 days depending on when the check is cut. I also asked him about the touch up process and how long it would take. He stated the same day. I asked if I could arrange a loaner. He said he didn't see a problem with it. I asked him to pass along to the GM that I would be accepting this resolution and to have the GM contact me once they receive notice of my response.

On behalf of Volkswagen of Lee’s Summit’s entire sales team I
would like to apologize for your experience.
By no means is this the way we do business nor the way we want to be
perceived as doing business. It is our
goal for all of our customers to have a truly exceptional...

experience. That experience should not end once you leave
the dealership.  You can be assured that
your issue has been discussed with the people who were involved in processing
your car deal.  Your payoff was
overnighted on Tuesday (1/19) to your lender.
Our finance team has contacted them and there should not be anything
reported to show a late payment as result of the late payoff.  [redacted] was contacted on Tuesday (1/19) and we let him
know the paperwork is ready to be picked up.
I understand that you are in the process of moving so it will be
Saturday (1/23) before you can pick it up.  As I
mentioned, you will need to sign the title and a few other documents regarding
the title since it was signed in the wrong place.  We certainly appreciate your business and
sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that was caused to you.

I am glad that we were able to get everything completed for you.  [redacted] just left the office .  Thank you for your patience and for choosing us as a place to do business.  Again, we do apologize for your inconvenience.   If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact myself or [redacted] at ###-###-####.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because:
This response is ridiculous.  There was NO miscommunication.  I was told in plain words on the phone, Wednesday, that if LSVW could not do better than the 2.75% I had already arranged, they would sell me the vehicle for $20,500.00 and use my financing.Subsequently, I purchased a 2015 Passat LE from [redacted] in [redacted] for 20,500 w/o trade, down-payment, their financing.  They applied the 1000.00 VW rebate for the out the door price of 20,500.00.I have nothing good to say about LSVW, and will discourage anyone thinking of even visiting the dealership!
Regards,
[redacted]

In response to the above claim, our finance manager has spoken with the customer.  He has confirmed all issues have been addressed and the customer is happy and will remove the complaint. Please let me know if there is anything further that needs to be addressed. Thank you, Sheryl...

[redacted] purchased this vehicle for his daughter.  The initial complaint is that she cannot see over the steering wheel.  We have reached out to him several times trying to trade him out of his vehicle.  He has not been back in with his daughter.  He has a tentative appointment to...

come in Monday for our service department to take a look at the vehicle.  Everything passed MVI before he purchased.

Complaint: [redacted]
I am rejecting this response because: I contacted Volkswagen prior to now, and spoke to them in person about this shady business deal. Ms. [redacted] is the individual who went to their dealership to purchase the vehicle, and [redacted] took it upon herself to switch the paperwork as I being responsible for the payments, because of Ms. [redacted] credit. But her credit rating is why she contacted me to be a cosigner.
Regards,
[redacted]

We take the allegations against us with the utmost seriousness
and would like the opportunity to address these concerns in their entirety with
Mrs. [redacted]. Unfortunately at this time we have been unsuccessful at receiving
a return on our several advances to schedule a time to further discuss...

these
[redacted]ers. We would like the Revdex.com to advise Mrs. [redacted] to reach out to our
General Sales Manager, [redacted], at her earliest convenience. This will
allow us to make the appropriate accommodations to schedule a meeting and
better serve Mrs. [redacted] can be reached at our store Monday through Saturday at ###-###-####. Thank you for your time and consideration.

In response to Mr. [redacted]’s complaint -
VW of Lee’s Summit will happily sell Mr. [redacted] the vehicle in question for $7988 AS IS, which he has been offered to him on several occasions.  The issue is, Mr. [redacted] wants the vehicle fixed and sold at the same price or demands a...

check back to him for $10,000.
The vehicle is priced where it is because there is approximately $8000 in repair work needed.  The vehicle should retail for approximately $20,000 once the repairs are completed.
The Volkswagen of Lee’s Summit management team has tried to contact Mr. [redacted] on several occasions to offer him a variety of solutions.  Mr. [redacted] maintains an unrealistic and unreasonable attitude.    We will be happy to meet with Mr. [redacted] in an attempt to resolve this issue.  The options we find reasonable include one of two things … he can purchase the vehicle for $7988** AS IS or we will sell him another vehicle in our inventory for dealer cost.  Please advise if Mr. [redacted] would like to participate in either option.

**Please note, we are not holding the vehicle for sale for only Mr. [redacted].  It will be sold on a first come first serve basis.

We would like to inform the Revdex.com and Ms. [redacted] that the
individual involved with her paperwork is no longer with our company and any
correspondence that she has further should be done through that of the Owner.
Our Owner and General Sales Manager would love the opportunity to familiarize
themselves with the concerns Ms. [redacted] is currently undergoing. We assure Ms.
[redacted] our goal is to have her satisfied with her buying experience and believe
discussing this [redacted]er face to face we will be successful in resolving any
concerns she may have. At this time we ask the Revdex.com to advise Ms. [redacted] to
contact our Owner, [redacted] in order to schedule a time for all parties to
meet and resolve this [redacted]er. Thank you.
