One month after my insurance claim was submitted to them with all the required documents, they did not even review my claim yet. They just keep on sending me canned emails about my review not being reviewed yet. I will update my review in due course.

Review: I purchased a moving insurance policy in 7/2015. When my policy was purchased I THEN recieved a certificate. I provided a $ required to cover my inventory being moved. My shipment had many broken items as well as missing items. I contacted the claims dept # to file a claim and was emailed a form type letter to duplicate with my information and to submit that back to that dept. I did as requested and was told once received I would be contacted by an adjuster and they would come out to as the loss. 5 days after sending my claim email I had not received any response so I resent my email and was told I would be contacted shortly. I was not contacted until 3 days later. I was then sent a list of items that the insurer was requesting to proceed with the claim. I provided everything I had been given by my mover. I called the claims dept 3 times to discuss what was being requested and was not contacted back. They would only respond via email. I finally talked to someone ( said she was in the claims dept) and she says they require a itemized valued inventory list. I told her I had a 4000 sq foor home and the mover did not place a value on each items. There would have been thouands of items. This person than told me that she has a request into the underwriter and that they will have to determine if a claim can be filed. I asked for a contact # for underwriting as was told that only they could communicate with them via email. I asked her what the turn around time would be to get their response. She said maybe 1 - 2 weeks. (How do they not know how long it takes) She then told me I might want to contact the company that I purchased the actual policy from. I did this and asked for a copy of the contract I signed to purchase the policy. They said to send in an email request and they would provide me with a certificate. I told them the certificate was generated post purchase and that I want to see what I signed to purchase the policy. She said the only way she could check into it would be if I sent an email. She could not answer any questions via the phone. I can tell you that this company is doing everything possible to not pay a claim and find that they have been deceitful. It is very strange to me that there is not a human in which to deal with and it is all email. Something is definitely wrong here.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of my original policy or the claim to be settled immediately.

Dear Sirs, We have received complaint number #[redacted] from [redacted]. Mr. Wagner asks for a refund of the policy or for the claim to be settled. On October [redacted] we issued our formal declination of the claim on behalf of Underwriters and explained the reason why the loss is not covered based on the terms and condition of the insurance. We have not received a response disputing the coverage decision but instead the claimant appears to be requesting information regarding the insurance application process, specifically what he signed at the time of applying for the insurance. We, W K Webster (Overseas) Ltd, did not issue the insurance certificate and are not involved in the application process.
