I have had both service and billing issues with a local (Nashville, TN) office of this vendor I experienced service issues with a prepaid pest control agreement covering the period from July 1, 2016, through June 30, During this period, I never received a service report from a technician and I experienced severe ant problems during the summer, as well as extensive cobwebs in door and window frames, as well as exterior light fixtures Upon receiving an invoice in August for another annual period, I sent a letter (Letter 1) on September advising that I was uncertain about renewal and would not make a decision about renewal until I was provided with certain information outlined in the letter After the vendor received my letter, I got a telephone call and a visit from a service manager, who confirmed the cobwebs He advised that the technician (who had changed since my prior contract through June 2016), and could not explain why no service reports had been left His

Cook Pest Control is the business I contracted with over several years to protect my home from insects and termite infestationOver a period of approximately three months, I have experienced insects resembling termites in my master bathroom I contacted Cook's Pest Control to have the problem resolved Mr [redacted] the technician, came and sprayed the infected area He also stated he would a sample of the bugs with him to have them tested and positively identifiedApproximately two days later, the bugs returnedI, again, notified Cook's Pest Control of the problem and spoke with management about the problem and was told that he and the technician would visit and get the pest problem resolved However, the promised visit did not occur and no formal cancellation or explanation was given me At this point, it appears that I am being given superficial answers with no intention of either correcting the issue, having the knowledge on how to correct it, or it has progressed to a p

In early February of this year (2017) I received a bill from Cooks Pest Control The bill was paid by check on February and cashed by Cooks in February To my knowledge, I was completely current with payments until May 4, My contract was canceled on February 27, Reason for cancellation: (questioned value of service) I never questioned value of service I did question-why was I sent a bill? Keith Lawson came by on February 3, 2016, after we made an agreement for $for termite control MrLawson brought out a huge stack of papers for me to sign I explained to MrLawson that I had an appointment in about minutes Would he please explain the papers and be honest with me? He did a good job explaining the papers, but there was no mention of future payments If there had been mention of future payments, I would never have signed, because we are retired and on a fixed income

***'s Pest control performed a termite treatmentAfter a year they would not stop the service and kept billing me then sent it to collections The service was completed at my property Suwanee GA XXXXXI had the service completed because I was conferring listing my propertyThey told me the bond was a set amount and that was what I paidAt the end of the year they called and said I owed them more moneyThen started calling me and telling me I had to pay them every month and I told them to cancel the service because I never listed the propertyThey kept sending bills even though I called three times to cancelThey never returned calls and then eventually now have sent this to collectionsThis is clearly the way they make extra money from customers who don't want to continue their service

I've used Cook's pest control for a number of years I moved this summer and transferred my service to my new address For several months they continued to bill both the old and new address via auto pay I brought this to their attention and they credited my account the money they had mistakenly billed and assured me that they would no longer bill me A month or so later I received another bill forwarded from my old address to my new for new services on the account they promised the closed I contacted them again and was once again told that the account was closed and I would not be billed again This time I removed auto pay from that account so they would no longer be able to directly take money from me About a month or so later I received yet another new bill for the old account fwded to my new address This time I told them they they needed to contact me in writing that the account was closed and that I would not receive any further bills I did receive an email stating ex

Keith Lawson came by on February 3, 2016, after we made an agreement for $for termite control

I needed pest control services performed in my home I decided to use Cook's pest control because my mom used them years ago and their service worked very well when I started I told them I had a swarm in my house twice in years and I wanted to have termites and pest control service done they were doing automatic draft from my credit card they serviced the home several times but no improvements
I reported to them I was dissatisfied with both pest and termites service and showed the technician the roaches in the boxes they left in my kitchen I called and discontinued both services I spoke to customer serive they continued to bill me I've spoken with or different managers they tell they'll get back with me to this date the matter has not been settled I fill I shouldn't have to pay for service discontinued

I have been a customer of ***'s Pest Control off and on for many yearsIn
I moved back into my home in Moulton, AL and retained their services for foundation protection and pest controlThe gentleman that service the crawlspace was amazing did a through job and I was very pleasedSubsequently
I retained ***'s for a problem I was having with miceThe problem began when technicians began showing up without calling or even announcing the presence on my propertyI called and complained and was told they would take care of itThe problem persisted so I called to cancel my service and was asked if I would allow a supervisor to come and talk with me prior to closing my account, I agreedThe supervisor called and made an appointment with me for the following Thursday it was a particularly dreadful day with rain and thunderstorms, but since I didn't hear from him I waited for himHe never called nor did he show upThe next day I'm getting out of the shower when I hear a knock at the doorI looked out the window and there stood a ***'s employeeSo I ignored the knock and never answered since my original complaint was concerned with the technicians showing up out of the blue
so again I called and asked to have my account closed but was asked to give them another try, against my better judgment I agreedSince then they have called before showing up, not at the times specified but I was not picky about timeNonetheless, since then I have been called not every month but frequently to REMiND me to pay my billI never received a REMINDER prior to my complaintSo, I called to ask was this some new practice and the manager I spoke with was not aware of this particular practiceBut today I received another reminder call and I just want the public to know what a shabby business ***'s pest control is and that they can build all the museums that Decatur can hold but their paychecks are result of their customer base and that is slowly dwindling

Cooks Pest Control continued to call in an effort to have me make an additional payment after having cashed my checkAfter I contacted my bank and had them send proof of the cleared check only then did they stop callingI made the payment in MarchSince then I have not received any service nor have I received a refund.I have been forced to get service from another provider especially during the warm season because my daughter who is severely disabled and enjoys sitting outside can do so because of the new pest control providerMy efforts to get my money refunded has been met with silence

They neglected to provide serves required by contract but continue to sent "Statements" demanding payment
Cook's Pest Control has not service my resident since May 11, on August 3, I E-Mailed both the office at [email protected] and Brandon Lovelady Pest Control Manager at ***@cookspest.com to accept their cancellation of my contracts 08PCXXXXXX-XXTCXXXXXX-XXPCXXXXXX due to their neglected/refusal to honor their contractual obligation
I have received numerous phone call and tried to explain that they not fail to honor the contract!! I paid at the time of service by check
I to date am still receiving statements requesting payment for services never render/performed by Cook's Pest Control
I want Cook's Pest Control to first provide me with written proof that they recognize their cancellation of my contracts due to their neglect
Provide written proof I owe them no monetary funds
Provide written proof their mistake will not adversely affe

I am making this complaint towards Cooks Pest Control due to their lack of communication and removal of my termite stations that surrounds my residence I noticed I had an issue with termites on the date of 3/31/ I then immediately got in contact with Cooks pest control's office in Rex, GA and explained the situation and was told an account manager would contact me to make an assessment to the property They were very prompt in the matter and I was reached by an inspector (*** ***) who inspected the property for termites Mr*** then went over the payment procedure and told me the total cost of service would be $and $was due prior to the installation of the treatment station I then paid $at that moment and had a $balance remaining which would get paid in $installments from the end of April to the end of the month of June which the last payment would be $ I signed after the payment was madeHe then got in contact with Eric (technic

Cook's Pest Control has been a nightmare for me They talk a good game, but they lack work ethics and integrityI have only been with them for three months, and they have been unable to provide me the service that I signed up forI called the manager to let him know that a rodent had gotten into my home One explanation that really baffled me was basically they were more reactive than proactiveThey are unable to prevent the rodents from getting into the home; they can only do something when they get into the home I have not received service for the month of September; therefore, I am cancelling my contract with them I am requesting my deposit of $that I gave to them when signing my contract in June I originally called them because of camel crickets, and according to my contract, they were to treat for these and many other pests, not just ants and spiders that the serviceman coded on the receipt that he left for meThe serviceman claimed that he was servicing th
