Review: On Sunday September 20,2015 I went to the Shoprite Supermarket on Forty Foot Road in [redacted] to do my grocery shopping arriving at 7:50AM. I went to the counter at the kitchen area to order an item which was advertised in your Shoprite flyer. The item that was pictured and advertised was 12 Jumbo Fried Drumsticks(chicken legs) for $ 10.00. The was an excellent price for this item. They had to cooked them which takes about 20 minutes. I went and finished the rest of shopping while waiting for the chicken legs to be cooked. I went back to the kitchen area and the woman there handed them to me. I put them In my shopping cart and proceeded to check out and pay for my groceries. Later at home at 10:45AM while starting to prepare for my lunch I opened one of the containers of chicken and discovered that the chicken legs we not JUMBO as the ad claimed them to be. They were small and not JUMBO at all.I then put back into one of the shopping bags which I had and I then left and went back to the Shoprite in Hatfield where I purchased them. I went to the customer counter ask them to find out if maybe a mistake was made and the wrong chicken legs were cooked by mistake. They checked with the person in the kitchen were they were cooked and there was no mistake. These were the legs they had. I then requested and received a credit on my credit card. I was quite disappointed about this. I then left and went to a different supermarket in the area go the JUMBO chicken legs I wanted. This is blatantly FALSE ADVERTISING.TDesired Settlement: I want Wakefern Foods to stop using the word JUMBO on their advertising for the chicken legs since they are not JUMBO in size. The is extremely misleading to their customers who want to buy them. Wake Fern Foods should be extremely careful about their advertising. I will still shop at Shoprite since I love their store. If Wake Fern foods wished to talk to me about this I will be happy to discuss this with me. Thank you.

Review: Shoprite at Palisades Park does not accept internet manufacturer's coupons that say redeemable at another store. These coupons that say this are redeemable at any store because they are manufacturer's coupons but do have advertising on the coupon that they can be redeemed at a different store. These coupons do not say "Only Redeemable at..." just "Redeem at..."Shoprite tells their employees not to accept these coupons when they should. I never have any problem redeeming these coupons at any other supermarket only Shoprite.Desired Settlement: I was wondering if the Revdex.com looks into unfair coupon policies?

Response:

We recently received notification from the Revdex.com alerting us to your concerns about our coupon policy. We know that coupons are an important tool to help you save money when you shop and we appreciate the opportunity to follow up.

Currently, we do not accept competitor coupons in our stores. However, we are in the process of updating our policy and new signs should be in the stores within the next 3-4 weeks. Our new policy will allow the stores some flexibility with respect to acceptance of checkout ([redacted]) coupons and manufacturer issued coupons that display other retailer logos. Again, we expect the new policy to take effect once the new signs are posted in store, which should take 3-4 weeks

We apologize for any inconvience you may have experienced on your most recent shopping visit. We will be sure to let the store know of your concerns. Please accept the enclosed gift card as a gesture of good will for your time and trouble, Ms [redacted].

We hope you'll give us a chance to restore your confidence in us

Review: I was overcharged for my prescription medication. On the date of service (4/15/2015), I had active coverage under CIGNA, however had not received my card from the Insurance Provider (My coverage started on 4/7/2015). I was advised by the Pharmacist that it should be ok and I can pay with cash and later claim the medication cost from my Insurance Provider. However, I was charged $682.29 for the medication for which I usually pay close to $270 on a regular basis. My Insurance paid me only part of the claim which is the contracted rate and the rest ($415.77) was to be refunded by the Pharmacy. I followed up with the pharmacy a couple of times, they mentioned that they cannot refund me the balance as their system only allows for refunds if we had gotten back to them in 15 days from the day of service.Desired Settlement: I would want them to refund me back the excess ($415.77) that was charged to me for the medication.

Review: I belonged to the Shopriteonline rewards program and I had my points saved up for a gift card or points on my card. They issue a $25 card when you reach your total points. I had 20 and average of 5 pending. All of a sudden I find the website off and nothing happening after all the emails that I had points. In addition the guy that ran the internet site for them told me they had issues with putting points on the cards and it was never done for me for my last $25. I had been following the program and buying through the site every few weeks.Desired Settlement: My past points on card and the one that I had pending. That would be $50.

I had followed all the rules for this.

Response:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

From the beginning when I had seen this advertised as a flyer stuck to the pole next to the register I signed up. I logged in all items I purchased on line that I could from Sears to Kmart and others. Nobody in the store even knew about the program when you asked them about it. I could see not knowing the techical part, but none of the customer service people or the manager of the store location even knew it existed. It was not managed from the beginning. Also the points never loaded and a person from your site had to call me back and issue them to me through the mail. He told me that it was a glitch in the system. I never received the email you are talking about. I also looked through my old emails. y [redacted]
