Discriminatory and negligent organization
Avoid. This is a fraudulent evangelical, unethical, and medically discriminatory non profit organization that will sooner defemate your character and reputation rather than uphold federal/state and constitutional laws of which they defy along with the medical hypocritical oath of which they do harm, thus their organization is in fact criminal. Hacks, charlatans, and zealous religious fanatics whom are untrained and judgmental. AVOID. Duke is the same organization as well, both degenerate and pathetic.

Their poorly educated and egotistical BLM receptionists also illegally solicit confidential and private information such as credit cards and insurance information and disinformation, spread rumors, and they will degrade your reputation & character based upon their faith based philosophies of degenerate ignorance and digressive unruly and ungodly malpractices.

UNC is awful, Duke is a prettier dish, avance care is a scam. These are horrible and unredeemable charlatans.

Any hospital that has bibles in their waiting room should be fined and shut down.

Beware.

They are degenerates, seek generations family care, however, give little or no information to any receptionists. I think they hire BLM degenerates based on affirmative action. They are crooks and poorly educated. Only speak to RNs and triage nurses.

Wake med is a faith based scam and illegal evangelical organization whom work with duke. All charlatans.

I contracted Action Restoration last week to fix the outer foundation of my home. We purchased the house a month earlier and had started a basement renovation when when we discovered mold behind the drywall. We were advised it was a foundation issue. [redacted] came to my home and did a thorough examination of the foundation. He examined the foundation and dug holes at various locations to assess what he thought should be done to repair the problem. He then provided a quote. The following week he came and dug up all around our foundation (outside) and repaired the whole thing. He had to dig up plant beds and move some larger trees...then it snowed. However he was prepared for that and [redacted] and his team completed the job and put everything back together as it was before they started. He is a total pro. After completing the outside, he did some further work on the inside to ensure we had proper foundation seal and everything was vented and working properly. [redacted] is very straight forward and honest. He explained everything he was doing and why he was doing it. He is a total professional and I highly recommend him and Action Restoration if you are looking for assistance for your home or business. Highest recommendation.

If you are looking for a reputable, honest and quality job you need to look no further. [redacted] was an absolute professional and put our minds at ease with not only how to go about it but how to accomplish it in a timely manner (on budget). We would not even consider another company for any future needs, if you hire this company, you will not be disappointed.

Wake Med has not returned our money for a fraudulent claim they submitted. The insurance released money to them from our HRA account. On June 26th our son, [redacted], had an appointment with his pediatric endocrinologist, Dr. [redacted]. However, Wake Med submitted a fraudulent claim to our insurance company, United Healthcare, for my husband. The insurance company paid the claim from our Health Reimbursement Account.Wake Med has since filed a corrected claim for our son, [redacted], and also received payment for [redacted]'s visit. We are seeking to have the money paid to them in error refunded to our Health Reimbursement Account.I have contacted Wake Med in writing, by email, and by phone over the last few months and have yet to receive a refund for the $215.54.I am seeking to have the money refunded to our HRA. If they have in fact refunded the money I am seeking information to track down where the payment is (as of today - 10/21/14 it still has not been credited back to our account). Desired SettlementI am seeking our money to be refunded to our Health Reimbursement Account with UHC. The amount is $215.54I spoke with a representative today (10/23) and with my insurance company the money has now been refunded to our account. I now consider this matter closed.

These people at wake med deserve prison, removal of licenses, and fines up the wazoo.

WakeMed has not sent me a bill to pay for my stay in May 2012, but rather send me to collections instead.I have spoken to WakeMed many time about my bill... I asked to have one statement and sent in one payment and a voided check. 1st voided check lost/misplaced.Send in a second voided check and that was lost/misplaced.Called in and gave a credit card over the phone. That was lost.in November 2012, we went to the hospital and spoke directly to a supervisor at the billing dept at the hospital.. Gave her another check and was promised that it will be taken cared of... Payments were removed in Dec 2012 and Jan 2013. I thought never to look again that they were taking money out for the bill, we figured at the Dec 2013 the billed was paid in full. In May 2014, I get a letter from collections for the amount still due to WakeMed. Called WakeMed and they told us that they stopped taking money out in March 2013, program was stopped or cancelled. We were never notified. Ask for it to billed to me again and do the payment plan again... They told me sure, no problem.Well, never got the June bill, but got the late notice. Never got the July bill...I've spoken to so many people that, I don't want to talk to anyone else but someone in high administrative. I'm still waiting for some bill to come in the mail. But no one wants to call me in a higher supervisor position. Desired SettlementI would like to get a bill and have a payment plan scheduled for every month at $100.00 and month to off the bill.Otherwise, I feel with the on going headache of us always trying to pay off the WakeMed bill and they constantly dropping the ball at their end... this bill to me is null and voided and I will no longer pay for it..Business Response The patient has been contacted and a payment plan set up. The matter is resolved and can be closed at this point. Thank you.Consumer Response They only called once and said that they will review my file and get back to me and also compensate me, but have not yet heard from them.Spoke with [redacted] on 8/5/2014, which she told me that someone else will be calling me. Spoke with Evon 8/6/2014, in which she stated that they are very sorry that there has been a glitch in the billing system and I will be getting something for 8/30/2014 pay my bill. That they will review and call me back. Have not heard from them since 8/06/2014.

Wake med is an illegal evangelical church front that will soon be shut down. Absolute degenerates.

I was charged for a visit with a Physical Therapist and did not see one. I would like to be refunded the charge on my credit card. I was in the hospital May 18-May 20. I was charged for a visit from a physical therapist. I never saw the PT and would like to be refunded the $655 I was charged on my final bill. I discussed this with "[redacted]" and wrote a letter to her twice about this charge and received no response from her. I want to have this charge refunded to me immediately.Desired SettlementI want to be refunded the $655 for the charge. Business Response We have received your concerns and they are currently under review.

Yup, faith based scam organization that will be sued very soon.

Was told to apply for [redacted] to qualify for financial assistance. While waiting to hear back, Wake Med sent my bill to collections.I broke my wrist on December 22nd, 2013 and went to Wake Med Hospital in Apex, NC for help. They knew upon my arrival that I recently came off my mother's insurance because of my age and was told they would bill me (Acct #: [redacted]). I received my bill for $1,763 which was followed up with a new bill of $881.50 because I was eligible for WakeMed's self pay/uninsured discount program. I called to explain my financial situation and set up a payment plan... during this I was informed about the financial assistance policy. I was told to apply to [redacted] (reference # [redacted]). Even if denied I am supposed to send my rejection letter, my last 2 pay stubs, bank statements and a letter from my mother stating current living situation to WakeMed's Central Business Office. I kept receiving bills/calls from WakeMed and every time I let them know I am waiting to hear back from [redacted], just in the case I do qualify for full assistance. I started paying $10/m, but I did not want to pay too much because I knew if I was eligible for full coverage, I was never going to get my money back. They have now sent my account to collections when I was only following the proper steps the WakeMed employee told me to take. I have attempted to contact [redacted] to check on the status of my application, but the answer I keep getting is, "There are people who applied in November 2013 who have still not heard anything about their case". I do not feel as if I should have my credit tainted because WakeMed does not like the time frame their instructions are taking.Desired SettlementI am looking for WakeMed to at least take their account back into their hands and send a withdrawl to their creditor, [redacted]. I cannot do anything about my account until I hear back from [redacted].Business Response Our Customer Service office has been communicating with the patient and her complaint has been resolved. We consider the matter closed. Thank you.Consumer Response [redacted] from WakeMed contacted me the next day regarding my Revdex.com complaint. He resolved the issue within 24hrs!

They only resolve issues once you inform authorities and the state medical board. These are evangelical criminals and cultists.

Bs. You must be remedial or an an evangelical fool.

Wakened misrepresented services and gave me incorrect billing information over the phone.I really think Wakemed must be some kind of joke. You advertise how people friendly you are, yet when it comes down to customer service, it is apparently completely false.I went to a presentation you had for weight loss surgery - this is for a person who is quite vulnerable, trust me. We are desperate to try anything. At the presentation, the Dr. said I would be a good candidate, and told me to go ahead and make an appointment. The implication was that there would be no charges until the surgery, and even most of that was covered by insurance.I went in. I made the three appointments I needed in one day. This was for the doctor, the nutritionist and one other (I don't recall who). At the doctor's office, I saw the nurse practitioner. I never saw the doctor. I was charged a $40 copay for that. Then I went to the second person (I think physical therapy or something). There I was not charged, and assumed it was because of the other visit.I then went to the nutrionist, where I was charged $160 for one hour of time. The nurse practitioner talked me out of the surgery. The second one talked me out of the surgery. The nutritionist basically said to eat more protein and vegetables. All that for $200!!!But it gets worse, a couple of months later I receive an invoice. I didn't pay right away because I felt it must be a mistake. Then in July, I got a call saying I owe $92.79. I totally disagreed but she said I owed it and insurance covered the rest. For what - NOTHING!!!!!!!!Then I told her I already had paid $40. She looked and apologized, saying I had and it hadn't been credited, so I ONLY owed $52.79.I was very upset, but she said it would go on my credit report if I didn't pay it. So not only unfair, but bullying. Great customer service. So I paid it.Now today I got a call that said I owe another $20, because the doctor had taken $20 of it. Come on folks. This is absolutely ridiculous. Then next month another $20, and the next month another $50 and on and on. This is an absolute scam. You keep adding on wings and charging middle class overweight seniors that cannot afford it. I cannot believe this is even legal.I expect Wake Med to do the right thing. Whether that means crediting the $20, or better doing that and refunding $92.79, or better yet doing that and refunding all $252.79 I have spend for absolutely nothing.Thank you.Desired SettlementIncluded above, I would prefer they credit the amount owed, refund what I have paid, and agree never to bother me with phone calls again.Business Response This complaint is being investigated by our billing department. We will respond to the complainant as soon as our investigation is complete. Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention

That’s medical malpractice and you can sue. It’s also negligence. Contact your medical board and press charges.

Improper BillingAt my 7 year old daughter's last annual checkup, her primary care physician suggested possibly scheduling a test with an endocrinologist given my daughter's petite stature. Considering my wife and I are also petite, my mother is tiny, and my daughter is a very picky eater, we did not feel there was any need for testing, but decided to call the office to get a quote. In speaking with the office, we clearly explained that our insurance plan had a high deductible, we would have to pay 100% of the costs, and needed to know the TOTAL costs involved including the office visit, any lab work, xrays, etc. We had fully expected to not do the tests due to the costs more than likely being prohibitive, and were surprised to find out it would be, "around $300", which the office supposedly verified. We scheduled the appointment, had the test, and have since learned that the office misinformed us of the costs. Having already paid the amount quoted, we are still left with a [redacted] of $977.26, which we are told is our responsibility. We have already attempted to resolve this matter with the office manager, [redacted] who says she has reviewed the recorded conversations and doesn't feel WakeMed did anything wrong. I am not sure what recordings she listened to, as there were several conversations, but obviously NOT those concerning our request for the total cost. Additionally, we are told we cannot review these recordings, although we already know what was said. If WakeMed did no wrong, they should not have an issue reviewing the recordings with us. In addition to that, [redacted] appears to have called from a spoofed number that is actually disconnected, making it impossible to call her back. I had no idea that a company the size of WakeMed engaged in these kind of tactics. If we are forced to pursue legal help, we [redacted] also seek a review of these practices at the state or federal level. This is no way to treat consumers, and is quickly turning into a nightmare. WakeMed Account number: XXXXXXXXXPatient: [redacted] M [redacted]Doctor: [redacted]Desired SettlementOur decision to visit WakeMed was based on their quote of "around $300" for the services requested. It now appears WakeMed made a mistake, and is expecting us to pay for their mistake. I expect them to adjust our bill to reflect the agreed upon amount. Over $1200 is not "around $300", and we could not have been any more clear as to what we were requesting and why cost mattered.Additionally, while I can not tell a business what is moral or immoral, I think someone should investigate whether employees are indeed spoofing patient's caller ids. If that is the case, that is not right, and possibly not even legal. According to the Truth In Calling Act, spoofing is only legal when no harm is intended. Attempting to prevent patients from calling to discuss their bill is intent to harm.Business Response We have spoken with the complainant and are actively reviewing their concern. Consumer Response We have met with WakeMed, and this issue is now resolved. We cannot say we are overly pleased with the outcome, but we are pleased to be done with it, and learned a valuable lesson concerning the importance of verifying the accuracy of an estimate.Final Consumer Response
