Wally Park

Review: I used Wally Park to park my vehicle when I recently traveled to Germany - 2/2/2015 thru 2/6/2015. To give you an idea of the conditions it was very icy and snowy that week so my car was extremely dirty due to salt residue on the vehicle. I collected my car during the afternoon of 2/6/2015 and traveled home. The next day I noticed damage to the front driver door which clearly had happened at Wally Park - just to be clear my car was valet parked. I immediately called the facility to report the incident and was helped very professionally by the General Manager , Mr. [redacted] He duly sent through the applicable claim forms which I completed and sent through to him as well as the claims company , [redacted] and Associates.

I in due course received a letter from the claims company denying my claim - due to a technicality that I did not report the damage before my vehicle left the lot. My car was so filthy dirty I honestly did not see the damage. I believe they salt the facility to make it safe to drive and the salt residue that they spread was definitely on the car as well as my car standing in the elements during the week picking up all the dirt from the snow etc.

I did request copies of the video surveillance but was informed that they do not have surveillance in the lot - only where transactions are handled , so they therefore cannot dispute my claim on visual evidence.

I am a very good customer of Wally Park and always park at their facilities when I am travelling.Desired Settlement: All I want is to get Wally Park to accept responsibility and pay for the repairs to my vehicle. To deny a claim based on a technicality does not show good customer service.

I do not want to bad mouth the business as at the end of the day there are no winners!
