Walmart Claims Services, Inc....will ignore and refuse to pay
Recently had 4 new tires installed on my 2020 F150...all 4 alloy rims were damaged. The staff at the Walmart Center were quick to file a claim on my behalf and apologize for what happened. Several days later a rude claims adjuster contacted me concerning the damage to my vehicle. He explained that he was prepared to offer a less than attractive settlement...I told him it was not a proper amount...he continued to talk over me and offered no terms of agreement. He didn't like the fact I challenged his decision...Now he won't return my calls or answer my Email.
I will continue to pursue the matter with Walmart, but, this guy didn't pay for my truck, I did ! My vehicle was damaged...not his...then he tries to give some low ball, cheap repair or he's not going to reply to me...I can wait...
Can't believe these guys get away with these shoddy practices...Walmart condones this ? Look out

Tire Fell Off
This will not be my only review. I will post on EVERY review site until I get an answer and compensated for the damage Walmart #1570 caused to my vehicle.
In May 2023 I went in for a flat tire repair. Less than 500 miles driven ALL 5 lug nuts fly off, a stud brakes off and my wheel is dislodged from my vehicle. I had my 5 year old child with me in the vehicle! We were on the highway and could have been seriously injured!
I followed all proper procedures and filed a claim through them. Gave my statements, pictures of damages, my information and answered all questions. It has been WEEKS since I have heard any updates from the claim.
I have sent several emails, made several calls and EVERYTHING has gone unanswered. No email replies, no one answering the phones, I have been put on hold for HOURS and then the phone just disconnects like someone hung up.
Hoping someone will reply since I've seen a few answered back from the reviews here. My Claim #23067166.

As a former employee I really expected more from Walmart. This is completely unacceptable behavior, ignoring customers and acting like incidents like this doesn't happen.

Same as everyone else
My wife took her car to Walmart for an oil change. They damaged the engine and now it needs to be replaced. Their settlement offer is about half of what it would cost to find a comparable vehicle. Ridiculous to say the least. A $50 oil change is going to cost me thousands. All due to this horrible company and their lack of accountability. Also the claim rep Scott Abbott is a pretentious dick.

Unprofessional business with Zero Ethics!
I took my car into my local Walmart for a new battery install. The Walmart associate hooked the battery up backwards and shorted out my entire electrical system under the hood. This was May 23, 2023. I have been without my car and without money because I use my car for making money for two weeks at this point. I have tried Nine (9) times to contact the person who is supposed to be my claims agent only to be met with zero call backs or any attempt to contact me. I have sent countless emails out with zero reply or response back to me. I have tried to contact the claims agent's supervisor, again the same thing, no response back both in emails and voicemail messages. The mechanic where my car has been sitting for two weeks has also made numerous attempts to contact CMI about repairs for my vehicle and also gets zero response back. I have sent copies of my vehicle registration in, copy of my car title and my insurance papers. No response as to if they even received these items or not. When I call the main phone numbers to CMI both in Kentucky and Arkansas the call goes unanswered by absolutely anyone for hours on end. I call back and go to the Operator and get put on hold for an endless amount of time. This is repeated over and over for days on end. It does not matter what time of day you call, absolutely no one in this company has any time for taking the customer into account. They simply are there in my opinion to hold out and hope you just go away. My car has at minimum $3000 damage done under the hood, I don't have money to pay for this repair and I should not be placed in the position to even worry about doing so. This company absolutely does not do their job when it's their job to pay for the damages done by Walmart associates in their respective local Walmart. This appears to be an ongoing problem with this company and personally I am not amused and find it in poor reflection of Walmart altogether to allow an insurance company to plain and simply disregard people who to no fault of their own ended up having to deal with such a company. I am missing important doctor appointments and am running out of my diabetes medication with no way of possibly refilling it or picking it up. No car equals no money, no food, no medicine, absolutely nothing can be done without my car. This is extremely troubling to me and I need answers. Shameful, Walmart needs to take accountability for damages done without hassle and without delay! Your ethics are atrocious Walmart. Their Mission Statement means absolutely nothing once they wash their hands of liability and send you off to deal with CMI! Get it together and help me, help others you have done wrong and just simply do what's right! Fix My Car! My name is Nancy Irish and my local store is South Haven, MI Walmart located at 201 73rd Street, South Haven MI 49090. My claim# 23055243 or so I've been told - not sure because no one will acknowledge my existence on this claim.

Update - I did finally make contact with Claims Management, went to the wrong department but was thrilled that an actual human answered the phone. This lady was kind enough to pass a note on to not only my claim agent, but his supervisor as well as the supervisor's supervisor. Movement on my claim has started - it isn't over yet but wanted to let anyone having difficulties to just keep trying. I do not understand the no answering of the phones for this company but persistence does pay off. You have to break that wall down yourself unfortunately which should not be the customer's worry.

go from oil change to engine lock up in 24hrs.
I had my oil changed on april 11, 2023 they double gasket the filter it caused my engine to siezed. We have had a rental car which has to be returned on tuesday we have had to pay it out of our own pocket. My car is sitting at the dealership waiting to get an ok from walmart claims. I talked to Tyler one time he said he needed additional information we sent the registration and the estimate from the dealership and tow bill three weeks ago have not heard from anybody. We tried calling it goes straight to his voice mail. We have sent him emails he never answers. We need the car back ASAP. I don't think its right to have proof somebody did something wrong and took the proof to walmart they acknowledge it and said sorry, Its been five weeks since it happened with no answer. So if you ask me I will never recommend walmart automobile service to anybody. Its onething to make a mistake everybody does its how it is taken care of when the mistake is made that makes the difference.

Want to update my review. I called corporate walmart on monday 5/15/2023. they transferred me to walmart claims I told her I did not want to be on hold they will not answer she stayed on the line with me. I got Debbie she looked my claim up told me to resend everything she would take of it by the end of the week it is settled. I can't Thank her enough for helping me.

Oil change, gone wrong
Had an oil change at Walmart in Tampa Florida. They assigned the oil change to a new person who didn’t know how to do an oil change. Spilled oil all over the vehicle making it cause other issues. The management tried to deny that they were the problem, but finally admitted to it. Had it sent to a Chevy dealer to take a look. That took well over a week because claims does not respond. I sit for many many hours every day trying to get a hold of somebody in claims to no avail. You can’t even reach a supervisor. So two weeks later finally, the claims department gave the go ahead for the estimate on what is wrong with the vehicle in order for it to run again. It is now been three weeks since they gave us the estimate and I cannot get in touch with my handler at the claims department. They do not return phone calls you can’t reach their supervisor. You sit on the phone for six hours only for them to hang up on you. My car has been sitting at the Chevy dealer waiting to be repaired.

Horrible Service-Nothing but lies
I took my car to Walmart for an oil change in September. A half mile down the road, my check engine light came on. To make a long story short, I towed the car right back to tire and lube only to find out they did not remove the old gasket from the filter before putting the new one on. Seized my engine which had a little over 50,000 miles on it. We received an email immediately from R. S. We thought this would be a smooth process. Are you kidding! We have email, called and left messages with no response from him. My husband called the 1-800-527-0566 number and was on hold for 7.5 hours in one day. That is not counting the other number of "on hold" calls we have both made. Walmart claims to be all about superior customer service and a pleasant shopping experience. Sam Walton would turn over in his grave if he knew how much Walmart has deteriorated in the last several years. They are not at all about their customers. They are nothing but liars. I live in a small town and have no choice but to shop occasionally at Walmart. If I had any other option, I would not support in any way this company! I'm furious!

The crazy part is, I had the same experience, except for they spilled oil all over my vehicle. And found that they never change the gasket. They put two gaskets on top of each other on my vehicle. It didn’t cause my vehicle seize up but I’m sure it’s causing some of the issues of the oil spillage. Besides, they’re workers filling the oil. We , besides their workers filling the oil. We also sit eight hours a day on the phone and sometimes we sit for three hours only for them to pick it up and hang up.

Damage to vehicle taillite in Sams Club Parking Lot
Team,

On 9 December my vehicle tail lite and bumper was damaged by a mechanical push cart operated by a Sams Club Employee. A number was given for a claim. We made contact quickly but the claims process is very slow. It is now 20 December and the claim processor tells me it can be another 3 to 4 weeks. Your claims processing system is antiquated and could use a little more customer service care and representation. My own insurance would have had this taken care of by now. Please review your processes for improvement. I can help you if you need input.

Thank you,

Ray

Horrible.. Time to get an attorney. Steer clear of walmart for ANY Automotive needs.
I will spend all the money I have on an attorney. Took my car in on October 22 to the Automotive Service to get new tires. Picked up my car, was about to turn on 121 (Major Highway in North Texas) and my tire flew off sending me into the median and my tire under the highway. Got out of my car to see I had no tire. McKinney Police Officer next to me saw the entire thing and helped me get the tire and noticed there were NO LUG NUTS on THAT TIRE. I have consistently called Ruben Sanchez to get help with my car with no return call. He never answers his phone and no one is ever available. I have a meeting with an attorney tomorrow and will exhaust all resources to get this handled. I could have been injured or someone else if I had gotten on the highway. My car is unable to be driven and I am on week 2 of a rental car with no response from Walmart. I see their tactics and I am NOT going away. I will fight everyday. Walmart is responsible for this and will be held accountable for their negligence.

Walmart use this company to get out of claims they are clearly responsible for. It's a disservice to the community. I was in the store. They had a damaged product on the shelf. The bottle had a broken cap. When I picked it up the bleach splashed all over my clothes destroying them. I'm right in front of the cameras. The employees, manager and store manager all seen my clothes. Walmart claims said Walmart isn't responsible for the damage. All on their video.

Walmart bullies senior citizen so they do not have to pay for damage they did to her vehicle even though they admitted liability.

Mar 5, 2020, Walmart 1200 Lead Hill Blvd, Roseville, CA 95661 , employee (A) lost control of a line of shopping carts that crashed into the senior citizen's car. A Walmart report was made on site Assistant Manager (B), another lady in the office said they saw the video. The Walmart report included the senior's Name, address, phone, and email address. Video and photos were taken by Walmart that would have showed the senior's license plate no. and obviously a senior.

An estimate of the damage was sent to Walmart claims Mar 10 that included the VIN and License Plate number of the senior's car.

(K) in the Walmart Claims Department stated: email Mar 11, 2020 6:15 am
"Thank you (indicated my name), I do need to get your DOB and SSN in order to process a check for you please."

I never got an answer from K or anyone else at Walmart why they needed my DOB and SSN, I refused, I have been a victim of identity theft. Found from a reliable source DOB and SSN were not common to ask of a person making a claim.

At this time Walmart already had my Name, Address, Phone, Email, the license plate no of my car and the VIN of my car. Having all this information, anyone can find who the registered owner of a car is, Walmart was not able to. REALLY?

After insinuations about me not being who I was, and that they could only pay the registered owner of the car REALLY? By the way this went to the CEO of Walmart, and other executive officers so no matter how high up you go Walmart appears to not accept responsibility for damage they cause.

Walmart Contact Center Headquarters Bentonville, AR sent me a letter April 16, 2020 to me at my address, I got it, and acknowledged the letter by email June 5, 2020 to the CEO, officers, and customer care. I got the letter, it was addressed to me, at my address that matches my registration. No answer so far from Walmart.

This is what to expect if you are injured by Walmart, even if they admit it, they will not pay you.

I filed an claim on my auto back in November of 2019. I received one call from Brandon at ext *** on December 2, 2019. I Have left SEVERAL messages and I have emailed him about 4 times. I cannot get him to return my calls and I have no idea what is going on with my claim. Here it is March 6, 2020 and I still just get his voicemail. I have been without a vehicle now for over 6 months and nothing is being done. This is horrible customer service and I WILL NEVER take my car back to Walmart.

Dear Walmart,

For 30 years I have faithfully supported Walmart every month as I monthly shopped there for literally EVERYTHING for my entire family spending 300 plus pr month in groceries, as well as 100 monthly for household & toiletry goods, another 100 monthly at least for car maintenance, oil changes and tire purchases & service, as well as hair cuts, alcohol purchases, Christmas Presents, Birthday Presents, all party favors, and cakes for all celebrations as well as all party supplies. I have easily spent WELL over $500 pr month for 30 years at Walmart. (Most likely double that amount but I am being very reserved here for statistic purposes) I have travelled much for work and moved many times to numerous states in all those 30 years and ALWAYS sought out all the local Walmarts and the not so close Walmarts that I had to drive way out of my way to find the closest one(even driving 2 hours(4 hrs round trip) way out of my way passing literally hundreds of other stores that I couldve given my money to, yet I stood firm & steadfast and faithful ONLY to Walmart.

I know that my $500 a month is meaningless to you Walmart, but that translates to $6,000 pr year which is still meaningless to you but when you factor in the 30 yrs that I faithfully gave you the $6,000 pr year then that becomes $180,000.00

Ok now I know that you will now take notice to the $180,000.00 that I have faithfully paid you for goods & services. Then you also have to factor in ALL my children who I raised from birth to be strictly religiously faithful to only you, and they all as well are now full grown adults with their own families and have likewise continued to follow in my teaching them to be faithful to only you. So then you can double or more probably triple that number of $180,000.00, and probably even more, so now youre looking at half a million $$$$$.

I just thought you should know all that EXTREME loyalty that I have given to you, when in ALL my 30 years of shopping with you neither I nor my hundreds of extended family members who religiously shop at your company several times pr week have ever EVER injured themselves in any way shape or form at any of your businesses, until this week when I slipped and fell on a HUGE patch of ice just outside one of your Walmart doors. All I am asking for, is for you to please pay the prescription fee for the pain meds, and medical device that the ER doc wrote the prescription for because I do not seem to have all the funds required to purchase these items.

Its really a very puny tiny request that I am asking of you to do for me considering the 30 years of my loyalty that I have so strictly religiously given to you.

I have no ill will or even any kind of negative thought against you at all concerning this accident happening to me at your business, and I will not ever bad mouth you for anything, and in fact I love you and all your products & services very much and will continue to give you my religiously strict loyal business.

I have no intentions of getting an attorney, and or suing you or trying to get any kind of pain & suffering from you at all, and in fact I do not want one single penny from you, Im only asking for you to call the pharmacy and give the "OK" so that I can pick up these prescriptions. I will even accept you to give the prescriptions to me from your very own pharmacy. Im not picky I will not even demand to go to my reg pharmacy or anything like that as I am very laid back & easy going. If you allow me to pick these prescriptions up at your very own pharmacy then that will not even cost you a penny, as you know that I am a seriously strict penny pincher, and will go way out of my way to pinch pennies so that no one is ever having to have a burden laid upon them.

You already have all the info on me, because your manager said that he sent you the Accident Report that he filled out Feb 19, 2020 8:30 pm, along with all the other reports that he took from the passerby customers who were eye witnesses to the fall, and the ones who picked me up from your icy cement because my injuries would not allow me to get up on my own. Your manager also said that he sent you pictures that he took of all the ice, as well as the pictures that were taken by the passerby customers.

Please let me know if you will allow me to pick up these prescriptions at your pharmacy as I will be very much appreciated. This is a VERY serious time sensitive matter that can not "TAKE TIME" to decide on because The ER sent me home with only a few days of the pain meds, and I am running out soon. If I dont get the paper prescription filled before they run out I will have to go back to the ER again for the severe extreme pain, and I do NOT want to do that because I will be charged thousands of dollars that I dont have, so please comply with my 1 tiny request, and I will thank you so very much.

Yours Truly and your truly faithful loyal customer,

S.

I searched our system and found Ms. J's claim (***). Because we were not aware that Ms. J received medical treatment or was pursuing a claim, the claim was not opened and assigned to a case manager. I have now set the claim up to be assigned to a case manager, and an investigation will be done to determine what we can do for Ms. J.

Walmart needs to be boycotted.

Not good experience .
Filed 5 times and spoke 8 times .
Denied claims even though on phone they agree to send me ups label to ship the product.
No knowledge of what is coverage plan .
I am so sad.

If I could put zero stars I would! I had an incident with a grocery pick up at Walmart. The associate did not secure the cart with the totes and it came tumbling down on my car. I have submitted the photos to a case manager at CMI, I have submitted 2 estimates for the damages caused, as well as a detailed account of what happened. I have been trying since 2/5/20 to to get a hold of someone, have sent numerous emails, left several voice messages and have been on hold to speak to someone for 4 hours in one day alone! It's almost like their mission statement is the exact opposite of how this company services their client. I have been in contact with corporate and my next step is contacting my lawyer.

April 11th 2019
Botched oil change
My engine light was flashing
I called into Walmart Clearfield, Pa and they said the engine light would cycle off, so I waited.
I checked my oil and there was hatdlg any in there, so I called them back.
I brought my car in on April 17th 2019 for a re-oil change
My engine light started flashing 2 months later, so I brought it in thinking I just needed a new oil change. No...my engine was damaged and I didn-t know it now my engine is in complete failure.
I filed a claim and Walmart/CMI denied it. Do NOT bring your car to Walmart for any work done. I have had my car around a yr and my engine was fine before the original oil change. They lack responsiblity and care for their customers. Just stop going to Walmart. They do not deserve your business.

December 21, 2019. Routine oil change and the next day half way to Oklahoma the motor seized up. I had to pay for a 3 hour tow, just to get me and my car home. After being told I must get it to a ase certified mechanic, I had to pay for another tow. Got it to the mechanic it shop on the 23rd. Got a call from the claim department Blake Chappelle while I was working. He left a message to have an ase certified mechanic fax them the cause of the accident and how it related to walmarts services. That was completed on January 7th. That day when we got home, there was a letter stating we had 10 days from the date the letter was sent, to respond or else they would assume it was no longer their fault. It was dated the 1st of January. That's pretty cynical, unprofessional, and just not right seeming how the letter take six to seven days just to get to my house leaving me a total of 3 days to make sure a response is taken care of. Also I have been trying to call anyone at this number, the operator, the case manager, the case manager supervisor and have got nothing but voice mail, at one point I waited on hold for over 2 hours with no response. all these calls have been documented, and this will all be turned over to the Revdex.com and I will be hiring an attorney. To think that people actually work here, and they think it is fair and just to ruin someone's engine cost them over $3,000 worth of Damages that most of us do not have over a routine oil change that was supposed to cost $40 is just absurd. I've served in the military ever since high school and I've had to deal with the lack of compliances and work ethic problems all my life, but this one takes the bait. It has been over three weeks with no response and zero progress, I've been without a vehicle during that time and having to share rides with my wife while staying late hours at work just so we can manage to get by. You would think with such a successful company as Walmart that fixing a problem that they have created would be no issue. I am truly saddened by the service I have received or should I say have not received and will never shop at Walmart ever again.

We took our car for a simple oil change to Walmart store#2512 in Phoenix, AZ. The young man pulled my oil plug too hard and damaged my entire oil pan. The manager admitted it was their fault and assured us the damages would be repaired with no costs to us. A claim was filed with Claims Management, Inc. 1 week ago and we still cannot even get someone on the phone or to call us back. How do these claim reps sleep at night knowing are livelihood in there hands. We have children who depend on us for transportation. Both Walmart and CMI are terrible companies and action needs to be taken. My claim rep Mebla F X never answers her phone and obviously doesn't return messages. What are our options? No car, no communication, basically no end to this terrible nightmare.

These people are not independent as they would make you believe. They literally try to trick you saying something innocent that they then turn around and claim was you admitting fault when Walmart is truly at fault. DO NOT TALK TO THEM AT ALL. Call a lawyer and save yourself a headache. CMI's sole responsibility is to save Walmart money. You are not obligated to give them a recorded statement. When they say this to you, they are LYING. Just lawyer up and sue Walmart.
