Do not hire this company!
We hired them in 2017 to do a patio and sidewalk and they did an awesome job. We hired them again in July 2020 to do our driveway, parking pad and to power wash and seal our patio. They never scheduled the job, and when I would call and actually get someone to answer the phone the lady would tell me that we were scheduled for the end of the next week. This response happened several times, and after them not showing up and not letting us know what was going on, we have requested for Warrenco to cancel the jobs and return our money. Needless to say we have not received our money back and we have not received a response from Warrenco.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!

I want to pre-warn everyone and let you know, DO NOT use WarrenCo Construction & Paving, LLC when thinking about doing your patio and/or any other construction. Their communication and execution on our patio was TERRIBLE! And when we talked to the second down the line from the owners, he pretty much said tough! No customer service at all. I normally DO NOT EVER complain, but this was so bad that I just can't say anything. Horrible care and concern for customer! 2 weeks late, sloppy job, no answered text or calls, unfinished. Wish I would have looked at this before contracting with them.

We signed a contract with Warrenco on 8.10.20 for concrete work and paid half down (almost $5000). The work was supposed to be completed in 3 weeks we were told by the salesperson, and the contract stipulates 30 days. They haven't completed the concrete work per our concrete in the said time frame. They haven't even scheduled our work. We are at the 60 day mark from signing the contract. Please help us with this contractor. All we want is for our concrete work to be completed.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 14822558, and find that this response/resolution is satisfactory to me.

Regards,

Gina C

I had the same experience as Nancy W. who wrote a review on 7/13/2020. WarrenCo Construction and Paving, LLC cashed my $8,200.00 deposit check and I have not had the job scheduled and cannot reach anyone from the salesperson, Brad Wolf, to the owners Larry Warren / Joshua Warren, or even the front office person - Megan T. They no longer answer the company phone or emails.
How does WarrenCo still maintain Revdex.com Accreditation and have an A+ rating? Aren't you supposed to be protecting consumers from fraud?

We had our driveway repaved and in doing so WarrenCo managed to reverse the grade of the driveway so that our garage floods every time it rains. We have contacted them more than 10 times (phone, text, email) to correct the issue and they will not return our contacts. In addition to the reverse grade, the asphalt has pieces of wood and debris lodged in that should have been removed, our driveway culvert was clogged with asphalt which needed removed for water to flow along our street, and the asphalt became cracked in less than 6 months.
I would not recommend this company. They will do a substandard job and once the check clears they will make no effort to correct mistakes.

WarrenCo sent and appraiser out and we agreed upon a third car drive to extend to the street and match the driveway. THEY DID NOT match the drive down the edge trim, even though the foreman Bryce agrees that it is NOT what we agreed upon. The company says that they do not care about the aesthetic portion and and it is not their fault! The lines were crooked, I asked the spanish speaking crew several times during install that it doesn't match and it was crooked, they comment "we fix" but never did! Horrible customer service, will not return phone calls either. Very disrespectful!

WarrenCo Construction &
Paving takes great pride in our workmanship and communication. While we strive
for 100% satisfaction on all our projects, we unfortunately realize that this
goal is not always attainable. WarrenCo was hired and
subsequently installed a concrete driveway extension for the customer in
accordance to the terms and scope of the contract. All work performed was in a
good workmanlike manner that is consistent with industry standards. Unfortunately, the
customer’s expectations that the new concrete match their existing concrete
identically is unrealistic. The existing concrete has aged under years of
weather, UV rays, traffic, etc. Additionally, broom strokes are not primarily
for aesthetics but rather for traction. Attached are pictures
of the work performed. The customer’s claim that
WarrenCo would not return their call is not accurate. They simply did not like
the answer that they were given. While
the customer’s continued dissatisfaction regarding their installed project is
regrettable and in spite of their multiple negative review postings, it is
WarrenCo’s position that no further work is required and no monies owed to the
customer either in the form of a discount or refund.

They’ve had my money since May 20. They haven’t done the job, or scheduled it. They wont answer texts or phone calls day after day.

They totally destroyed my side/backyard during patio construction. I understand minor smashed grass, but I have mud and ruts in my yard, after their patio construction. I sent photos and inquired about them fixing it, and their response was, "its part of the construction process."

WarrenCo Construction &
Paving takes great pride in our workmanship and communication. We strive for
100% satisfaction on all our projects. Unfortunately, we realize that this goal
is not always attainable. The customer’s description of their yard as “totally
destroyed” is an exaggeration that is completely out of line with the facts. See
attached pictures of the areas of concern. The work that they contracted
with WarrenCo to perform is construction and inevitably requires the use of
equipment. Additionally, attached is the signed contract that details the following
in Paragraph 12: “Due to the nature of construction and the requirement of
equipment and foot traffic necessary to complete the project, WarrenCo shall
not be held liable for any damage to the yard or landscaping unless otherwise
explicitly stated in writing and signed by both parties. Customer should expect
to need to utilize the services of a third-party landscaping/lawncare company
to return area to pre-work condition. These services are not included in
WarrenCo’s scope of work and shall in no way be construed as WarrenCo’s
responsibility or expense. Customer acknowledges and accepts this responsibility
as theirs.” While the customer’s unhappiness is regrettable, it is
WarrenCo’s position that no further action is required regarding the state of
their yard, etc.

Shady, crooked, sad, inexperienced. there are not enough superlatives to describe how terrible and unethical this company is. They had no respect for my property or my fixtures. They sold us one thing, and built us the cheap imitation of another. the contrast is staggering - stay away from these crooks.

I got 2 estimates to replace an uneven narrow L shaped residential sidewalk with a 60 inch wide curved sidewalk and to install a 35 inch aggregate border on each side of my driveway. Brice Napier at WarrenCo seemed more knowledgeable and eager to implement my special requests, so I went with them.
The contract mirrored our verbal agreement exactly, Brice was always on it, and the work was flawless. (I have had many concrete projects done in my life.) I asked them to do it in colder weather, and they applied curing blankets to accommodate me. They were professional at each stage and did not cut corners.
Wish Revdex.com.com let me attach a pic!

I hired Warren Co construction in July 2019 to pour concrete around my pool and make a patio. On the side closest to my home which is 10 feet wide, I was told by Cali the concrete company actually came out and did the work that I did not need a drain on the side of my home for runoff water that he was slopeing in working towards the end to run off there. They did not pour my concrete level and now I have water that stands next to my foundation and crawl space. I hve tried talking to them to repair this and even talked to a gentleman by the name of Josh who said he is part owner about this and he said he's not coming back out here and fix this and that he would be happy to quote me a price to do the work. I said I'm not paying for this that it was their error and something need to be so water/snow don't sit against the house. He told me what he thought my project was and was totally wrong, I went thru with him what it was, he said he wanted to talk to his people and get back with me. He later texted me after I sent him photos of the area and said he was not going to fix that. We conversed back and forth on text and he said he didn't even care to do the job and he is not fixing it, mind you now this concrete is suppose to have a year warranty on it.

Warrenco Construction & Paving Response • Nov 18, 2019

WarrenCo Construction & Paving is a reputable company that stands behind all our work. In this case, it's unfortunate that key details were not relayed to complete the picture. WarrenCo installed the concrete in accordance to all industry standards, including accounting for proper fall to shed water. However, there are two existing control points that we were unable to change: the elevation of the house, and the elevation of the pool. Working with these constraints, WarrenCo advised that drains would be required in two separate areas. Unfortunately, the homeowner decided not to purchase this option. In keeping with our commitment to good customer service and satisfaction, WarrenCo (at no additional cost to the homeowner) installed one drain. Upon completion of the project and as described by the homeowner, WarrenCo did offer to come back out and install a second drain at cost. Again, the homeowner decided not to purchase this option. While their continued unhappiness is unfortunate, WarrenCo stands behind our work and is proud of the final product.

Got them from Home Advisor as rated number 1, they have been my worst nightmare. We had concrete poured approx. 1600 sq. feet and beside the house they did not slope it at the end to drain and now water sitting against our house. Talked to owner, they say not their issue. My concrete has already cracked just since July and they say they work thru Bagi standards, NO they don't or water wouldn't be sitting against the house which can cause terrible damage. The owner Josh said he would give me an estimate to fix the issue but it would be more because they are cutting into my new concrete and pattern in it and I said it wasn't up to me, it was their error for it not being level. Have multiple pictures and video of them installing and the problems that are here. Already talked to Home Advisor and they are getting involved but I am not accepting this and will take it to court if necessary. I would not recommend these people to anyone. They are great to talk to until they get your money and then the problems begin.

Paid WARRENCO 50% of proposed costs for each of two projects - "concrete" and "asphalt" in July 2018. Concrete work completed and balance of that project paid in Sept 2018 (there were several issues and one is still not resolved). Asphalt work not performed until mid-Nov 2018. They arrived without notice. I was out of town. Neighbor alerted me. I immediately called WARRENCO, requesting they not proceed as I was to be away extended time. I was told that was not an option. A verbal agreement was reached that I would withhold 50% of balance due (25% of asphalt project cost) pending my inspection of work. I was away several months after due to the death of both parents. WARRENCO employee contacted me in Mar. and acknowledged our verbal agreement. I reported that work was not completed per the invoice (edges were not milled, drive was not paved to edges in several instances). Additionally I have a huge "speed bump" at the entrance to the garage. I was told that a quality inspector would investigate and that a lien could be placed against my home. When no inspector appeared I followed up multiple times and was ultimately informed via e-mail that staff had been directed by a principle of the organization not to do anything for me until I paid the balance (approximately 10% of the total cost of both projects). We have been at this impasse for months. I an living with sub-par work and the fear that the company will take legal action against me. In addition to poor quality of work, communication throughout these projects has been inadequate and on several occasions, unprofessional.

Warrenco Construction & Paving Response • Jul 25, 2019

WarrenCo Construction & Paving takes great pride in our workmanship and communication. We strive for 100% satisfaction on all our projects. Unfortunately, we realize that this goal isn’t always attainable. The story and timeline as recounted by the homeowner does not entirely line up with the facts. WarrenCo made every effort to be understanding and gracious while the homeowner was caring for her family. Ultimately though, final payment was never remitted by the homeowner even after months had passed. It was only after attempts to collect on the balance resumed that the homeowner began to voice concerns regarding completion and quality, etc. In light of these facts and in keeping with our commitment to customer service, WarrenCo would agree to write the remaining balance off upon the execution of a Mutual Release and Absolution of Debt by the homeowner.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 13668020. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

I agree to the execution of a Mutual Release and Absolution of Debt to end this situation.

I resent being accused of lying or “not lining up with facts”. WarrenCo does not seem to comprehend that I was not just caring for family. Between the end of Oct 2018 and end of Feb 2019 a dear friend and both of my parents passed away after long periods of intense care. I placed arranging their funerals, managing their estates, grieving and trying to pick up the pieces of my life after being out of state for multiple months over contacting WarrenCo regarding the driveway work. Oh, and there is no mention of the fact that this time period was over the winter when weather would not permit asphalt remediation work anyway. I remind them that the work was done, without notice, in Nov after WarrenCo had my deposit of $1747.50 for 4 months.

Josh promised to send a quality inspector when we spoke about issues with job completion. After waiting an extending period of time and making multiple queries I received this response, “After speaking to Joshua Warren, I've been instructed to do nothing for you at this time. I'm being told that your account is months past due, and that you had no issues until we finally called to receive final payment. Once, your account is caught up, we can discuss warranties/guarantees.” Obviously, this decision was not communicated to me.

I was prompt in paying for the cement project. The front porch was poured too high. They did send the sub-contractor to grind the surface so I can open the front screen door, however I cannot place a mat at the entrance as I previously did. The installation of the drain in front of the garage created a HUGE speed bump which could have been avoided with proper design. I was informed that nothing could be done about either of these situations when they were reported at project wrap-up.

In summary, the workmanship and communication with WarrenCo was greatly lacking. Neighbors who have inspected the work have chosen to work with other contractors because of the issues they observed.

Had Warren Contruction, replace my patio. Contacted *** project manager, after they were there the 1st day. They drove tactical equipment thru my wet yard, due to heavy rain, and left ruts and tore up grass. Told I did not want my yard destroyed. My request was ignored. The patio edges are not finished. Have globs of excess concrete at bottom edge. Can put fence along sides due to excess globs of concrete. Have concrete splatterings on siding and patio door. Emailed Warren Constraction about damages. President of Warren Construction emailed me that these issues were not his company's responsibility. Home Advisor recommended this company. Home Advisor has been contacted.

Warrenco resurfaced my driveway, and I now have a serious drainage problem due to water running from the downspouts and driveway and then pooling on the driveway and in the garage. This was not the case before the resurface job. This water will eventually damage my house & garage doors and will allow water to enter my garage, so I have to have it corrected, even if it means replacing a portion of the new driveway. I’ve been trying to get Warrenco to accept responsibility since the job was completed in June, but the only solution they gave me was to spend $4862.00 more (more than the original resurface job) to add drains. I even wrote a letter to the president of the company but never heard back from him.
The mistake was how Warrenco sloped a portion of the drive toward the garage and onto the garage apron. I discussed my concerns about the flow of water from the garage with Warrenco during the estimate, and again with the project supervisor the morning of the resurfacing when I said drainage from the downspouts across the driveway was my “major concern”. To reassure me, the project supervisor even told me what they were going to do to make sure the slope was ok. After a visit from another project manager who investigated my complaint, I received an email from him saying “A major flaw in drainage was identified from the site visit”. This site visit was performed after the job was done! These guys are supposed to be experts, why wasn’t I told about the “major flaw in drainage” before the work was started. I now believe I was told anything to get me to sign the contract and let the work progress.

WarrenCo Construction & Paving is a reputable company that strives to leave each customer with a highly satisfied experience in both the quality of our workmanship as well as our customer service.
WarrenCo performed the work in accordance to the terms and scope of the contract. After the fact, the homeowner brought concerns to us regarding drainage. Unfortunately, drainage is not guaranteed in regards to a resurface. This is clearly stated in our contract. Regardless, WarrenCo met with the customer again to address their concerns and provide an alternative solution. The customer decided that they did not want to pursue this course of action and has instead insisted that WarrenCo “fix the problem” or “reimburse me the money”. While the customer’s unhappiness is regrettable, their demands are unfounded and unreasonable.
It is WarrenCo’s position that the project was completed in a good and workmanlike manner that is consistent with all applicable industry standards. To that end, WarrenCo stands behind our work with an industry-leading one year warranty. Additionally, WarrenCo is a member of the Builder’s Association of Greater Indianapolis (BAGI), the Indiana Builder’s Association (IBA), and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and conforms to these industry standards. As such should any issues arise as it relates to the scope of work performed, please be assured that WarrenCo will honor its warranty in accordance to these standards.

Revdex.com:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID, and have determined the response would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Warrenco’s Revdex.com response to my complaint is totally false and misleading. As I stated in my original complaint, I discussed my concerns about the flow of water away from the garage with Warrenco during the estimate, and again with the project supervisor the morning of the resurfacing when I said drainage from the downspouts across the driveway was my “major concern”. I don’t believe asking Warrenco to fix the issues they caused or reimburse me so I can get another company to fix their errors is unreasonable. Warrenco’s solution was to charge me $4862 to fix the problem. This cost is more than the original cost to resurface my driveway. Warrenco claims they will honor the warranty in accordance with the various building standards but they ignored me when I showed them a video of the standards being violated (Builder’s Standards section 21 on Blacktop Driveways). They also didn’t follow the industry fall and tilt recommendation of ¼ inch per foot on the area near the garage causing rain which falls on the driveway to flow toward the garage. There appears to be a contradiction between Warrenco’s words and their actions.

Regards

Do not hire. When I spoke with the sales rep and described what I wanted he did not listen nor put it in the contract. To my fault I felt it would get done and was implied because he kept saying it would happen. When the sub did the work they did not understand what I wanted. In the end when I wanted to talk with the sale reps boss the boss (I assume owner last name ***) threaten me with a lawsuit and lean on my property if I did not pay in 24hrs. It was only $6k remaining. He actually told me he did not care about what I had to say. Horribly disappointed. Would have paid more to get it done right but instead got swore at and insults.

These guys are as dishonest as the day is long. they have no respect for you or your property, they tore up my neighbors property, the did shoddy work, and when I called them on it, suddenly I was being unreasonable. I wish I could leave the photos of the horrible job these guys did. maybe someday. No matter what they say about me, the pictures don't lie. I cannot recommend in strong enough terms not to even think about these guys for your job.

WarrenCo is a reputable company that prides itself in both workmanship and communication. Mark's representation of his interaction with WarrenCo is lacking in both substance and merit. Every attempt was made to come to an amicable resolution... unfortunately, the reality of business is that while you can do everything right and with the best of intentions you will still not make everybody happy.

I hired Warrenco to complete the sealing of my asphalt driveway. After the crew left my driveway, I inspected the quality of work and noticed a corner of the driveway was left untouched. I called the project manager and we agreed the corner of the driveway would be removed of loose debris and sealed by someone on his crew. I am now at two weeks of receiving no feedback from the company other than a bill for the remaining balance on the unfinished job. I have left multiple messages with the PM and office including a failed promise of having the head of construction return my call.

WarrenCo prides itself in providing quality workmanship and customer service. Our Superintendent of Construction met with the homeowner and was able to address their concerns with a mutually agreeable resolution. The homeowner has since paid for their job in full and are satisfied with the end product. WarrenCo looks forward to the opportunity to earn the homeowner's business again in the future!

received estimate for replacing concrete slab patio and took under advisement. decided to accept and did so by e-mail asking that company contact me to get details (starting date/ending started or completed./etc.) in writing (contract). no response. shortly thereafter received e-mail invoice for 50% deposit. still no communication from company. again requested company contact me. yesterday, 7/2/18 received e-mail invoice for full amount $5400. I stress that no communication has come from company since original estimate. no work done. any attempt to communicate with company has failed. phone says "leave a message". no return calls.

I do not want to deal with company but want all invoices cancelled/removed.

Warrenco Construction & Paving Response • Jul 12, 2018

WarrenCo Construction & Paving is a reputable company that strives to leave each customer with a highly-satisfied experience both in the quality of our workmanship as well as our customer service.
Unfortunately, Mr.’s recounting of the events and timeline are not consistent with our records. Mr.’s statement that he had a purchase date of 4/30/2018 is not correct. WarrenCo and Mr. did NOT enter into an agreement until 6/26/2018. Likewise, Mr.’s statement regarding the purchase price of $5,400.00 is not accurate. The agreement signed by Mr. was for a total of $4,485.00 (including a discount honoring his time spent in the military). Consistent with this agreement, an invoice was sent to Mr. requesting payment for his deposit. After this payment was not received and in accordance to our policy, a follow up invoice was sent. The deposit invoice reflects the scope of work as well as the job total but specifically requests a payment for only the amount of the deposit. Additionally, Mr.’s comments regarding the lack of communication from WarrenCo is concerning. We have reviewed our records and can only find one instance where Mr. has tried to contact us via phone since his initial estimate.
After reviewing the inconsistencies, it is quite possible that Mr. simply has WarrenCo confused with another company that he might have entered into an agreement with. Regardless, WarrenCo has honored Mr.’s request and cancelled the outstanding invoice. We wish him well and hope that we will have an opportunity to earn his business again in the future!

These guys are amazing. We have been so impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of the crew that worked on our property. They have no idea how much what they did for us really means to us. I will always appreciate how doing business with them was awesome. The work is so hard and these guys were always smiling.
