Last year we went to the Home Show at the Indiana Convention Center. We met Josh at this show. He gave us a card to call and get a estimate for a concrete driveway apron and side walks. Josh came out on March 21, 2017 approximately 5:00 pm.
He and Brian walked the project Josh gave him a estimate. But no drawings were made. The day they arrived June 20, 2017 there were lots of questions that Josh needed to come out and explain. I had to facetime Brian at work to try and explain what was talked about.
The people that came to do the concrete only one spoke good English.
The first day they prepped the site was a mess. they ended up having to come back the next day to do it right. They had to postpone the concrete pour. Brian sent them pictures in the morning. They had not prepped the sight properly.
They were very unhappy about redoing the work. They made a mess in the yard with the vehicles and equipment they were turning around in the yard.
They also so dug up a stoop that was in front of the barn. This was not talked about. They piled the dirt including the chunks of concrete in the front yard. I had called 811 several days before they came out so all utility's were marked. They cut our phone line (which I know there was a flag there). I called the phone company to get it repaired. I was told it would be a few days. Josh had to get on the phone and get them out here ASAP.
They kept telling me the line was not down far enough.
Frontier came out quickly and repaired the line. They told me the line was berried far enough. I got a call 2 months later wanting me to pay the fee. I sent them to Warren co. They ten ran the Bobcat over our septic tank and knocked it into the hole. My husband had to repair it.
We had told them we were leaving for a Wedding on Thurs. Our neighbor kept an eye on things while we were gone. Josh called us to get paid and also told us they knocked over our flag pole. They did try to repair it with JB weld. Again my husband had to repair it.
They insisted on being paid over the internet that day. But her was told they would take care of any problems.
In Feb. I noticed a problem with spalding. I called and Marcus came by the first week of March to look at the issue. I had just had surgery and was not up to dealing with them. He came earlier then the appointment because he was in the area.
We then found a crack in the drive. We called to set up a appointment for Marcus to come out and look at it. he called and left a message saying" he is cancelling the appointment and he will NEVER come back out to our property.".
I did call and request he put that in writing. I was told they would get that to me. Still nothing.
We want the job repaired. it is not even 10 months old and it is falling apart.

WarrenCo has been in communication with the homeowners on several occasions regarding their concerns. Specifically, their allegation that only one of our crew members on their project spoke “good English” is entirely false and borderline offensive. A number of the crew members, including the foreman, are fluent in both English and Spanish. We find this skillset to be an asset rather than an obstacle during the course of our business.
Most projects take place over the course of several days depending on the overall scope of work to be performed. Furthermore, the homeowner’s comments regarding the use of vehicles and equipment turning around in the yard is simply part of construction. While WarrenCo takes precaution to prevent damage to yards and landscaping, the very nature of construction necessitates the use of heavy equipment and foot traffic.
As the homeowner notes, their phone line was accidentally cut. It was not buried to industry appropriate depths. Regardless, WarrenCo took responsibility and contacted the service provider to get it repaired immediately. Likewise, there was a small accident with their flag pole. We notified the homeowner and repaired the pole accordingly.
Payment is required upon the day of completion. This expectation was conveyed and agreed upon as stated in our contract.
The homeowners met with our Superintendent of Construction regarding their concerns about their concrete. At that time, it was WarrenCo’s determination that the damage that had occurred to the concrete was the result of salt. This type of damage is outside of our control and not covered under warranty.
It is WarrenCo’s position that the project was completed in a good and workmanlike manner that is consistent with all applicable industry standards. To that end, WarrenCo stands behind our work with an industry-leading one-year warranty. Additionally, WarrenCo is a member of the Builder’s Association of Greater Indianapolis (BAGI), the Indiana Builder’s Association (IBA), and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and conforms to these industry standards. As such, should any issues arise as it relates to the scope of work performed, please be assured that WarrenCo will honor its warranty in accordance to those standards.
