Review: I called washington gas paid my full balace and to set up appointment to have gas service restored on 8/23/13.it was set for 8/26/13.I got recored messege on 8/24/13 and I confirmed that I would be availiable on that date.inwhich I would have to be at residence the whole day.on the day in question.I was home all day.the are suppose to be here netime from 7;oo am till 5;oo pm.at 4;30 I called to find out where is service person.customer service checked and said he was still coming.service tech never showed up.the following day I called back and was told he called and got no answer.this is lie.I still have no gas service.this is the second time I have had a incident with this company wit the same matter.service tech making up lies so they dont have to come out.its sicking and time cusuming.Desired Settlement: I want this service taken care of without having to take time off from work as soon as posssibly

The inquiry regarding the above referenced customer was forwarded to my office for review.

The customer sent an email to Revdex.com regarding their request to reestablish the account after making the payment for the unpaid balance.

The customer was upset since he was advised that a technician went to the property when no one came. We advised the customer that customer service base what they give to the customers from the notes we have in the system coming from our technicians. We explained to the customer how the policy works in turning the gas back on and advised that we are doing our best to further improve our service.

The customer said that gas was finally restored last 09/14/13. We apologized for whatever inconvenience this may have caused them.

Both parties found this mutually acceptable and we may now consider this matter closed.

Review: Repeated calls from Washington Gas parallels harassment on a daily basis (continuous calling from 9 AM to 5 PM). The Company does not recognize the fact that our phone number is on the wrong account on their database and they do not change the information. We have told them that we are not the person that is associated with the phone number, but they refuse to listen. We have called Washington Gas and they claim they cannot change it at HQ but where the outsourced location is. This is completely outrageous, crosses the line for harassment, and is unprofessional in every aspect.Desired Settlement: Have the number changed in their database, so we do not receive harassment calls. They need to change their account information on whoever they are trying to contact, because it is not us.

This complaint was forwarded to WGES an energy marketer but the customers' issue is not with WGES but another company - [redacted], the local utility. Please remove the complaint from WGES and forward it to the local utility so they can respond to the customer.

Review: Washington Gas has always mistakenly sent my invoice to a wrong address (City of Gaithersburg, MD) while my service address and residence address in City of Rockville, MD for last two years. I called and wrote to them many times to ask them to correct it. However, They failed to correct their mistake. They keep charge me late fees and threaten me many times to terminate the gas service. This amounts to harassment that I could like to stop immediately

Their bills were vague in description. For example in a bill date November 24, 2014: Total Current Washington Gas Charge was $32.16 in page 2, however, it was $57.06 Current Gas Charges in page 3. I asked them to explain. They never responded.

For the last two years, the times, effort, and labor to correct their mistake are huge. They never are able to do their job correctly. That they are only able to do is to threaten to terminate your service and ask to pay for their mistake not to deliver to right address.Desired Settlement: Because they sent the bills to the wrong address, it was not able to delivery to me. Therefor they must Refund the over charge and late fee.
