In regards to Case #XXXXXXXX, we purchased a 2006 Hyundai Sonata from [redacted] as a used vehicle in August of 2006,...

we stocked in and sold this vehicle as used, which all of our customers paperword stated. Never at any time did we infer that the vehicle was new, but because it was purchased from [redacted] it should have had the 10 yr/100,000 mile new car warrranty. On Thursday, September 10th, our service director contacted [redacted] regarding this vehicle and they have corrected their records to reflect the 10 yr/100,000 warr on this vehicle. We have the customers vehicle and will put them in one of our loaner cars until their vehicle is fixed. Everything should be taken care of to the customers satisfaction.

dealership on Saturday, December 20, 2014 and it was mutually agreed that we would reimburse the customer $700.00 for the cost of the warranty. The check is being mailed to [redacted] which is where the customer financed their vehicle. The customer was satisfied with this resolution.

I would love to give Martin 5 Stars for customer service. After the purchase of a used car through True Car, the first car for my son who is 16. I asked if the did a maintenance check on the car, and checked the brakes. I was told yes. When I got home, I could tell that the brakes were not good. Not only were the brakes not good, I have a leak in the Engine Coolant Thermostat Housing, and another leak in the Automatic Transmission Oil Cooler. Additional $1,500 more added to the car cost. Absolutely disappointing

We visited Family Hyundai this month to get my Mom a used car. We never expected to be treated so well and have people actually take the time to hear what we had to say. Every single person we spoke to at this dealership was attentive, courteous, and genuinely caring overall. Our experience was so great, we are telling all of our friends to visit.

On 1/14/14, the oil and drain plug were installed on the 2008 Hyundai Sonata. If the oil drain plug was not installed or installed...

incorrectly, the oil warning light would have come on, and the engine would not have run for over 1300 miles with no oil in the vehicle. We check the oil level after every oil change, and if the oil drain plug was not installed the oil indicator would have had no reading at that time.
After reviewing the customers service history, we discovered that the 75,000 and 90,000 mile recommended services were not completed at Family Hyundai as customer stated.
Also on the service visit dated 10/23/13, on r.o. #XXXXXX, with a mileage reading of 98,536, the customer was advised of an oil pan leak, which she declined along with several other recommended repairs.
Due to the fact that the customer did not have the car towed here in March (it was towed to another facility which had done the majority of her repairs in the past), it is impossible for us to determine what the cause of the engine failure was. There was no way the vehicle could have been driven from January to March without a drain plug.

Family Hyundai in Tinley Park is a great place to purchase your car! Skip helped me pick out exactly what I wanted and made everything very easy. This is my second car from Hyundai and I can't imagine going anywhere else.

Family Hyundai was a great experience. I never felt pressure to buy. George was very patient with me and took time to answer all my questions. I look forward to a long mutually beneficial relationship.

I purchased a used car from Family Hyundai in March. The sales experience was great, Kristi is the best! I've had an issue or two with the car in the last few weeks & in spite of the fact that I purchased the car "as-is", they took care of the problems. My car purchasing experience at Family Hyundai was very positive. Friendly staff, knowledgeable sales personnel and very responsive to specific financing needs. I was there for a long time as I could not make a decision, no one there tried to convince me that I should buy, but did present all my options.

I had a very pleasant experience buying my car yesterday. My salesman, Glenn [redacted] was the greatest, very easy going, wonderful to work with, answered all my questions, and made my nervousness dissipate. He also contacted me the next day to ask if I had further questions, and I know I can call him any time. I also felt the entire dealership was very friendly and I will recommend all my friends and family to come to Family Hyundai to buy their car. This dealership aims to please their customers!! I love my new car!!!!
